Dreamworks makes memorable art. How to train your dragon, Madagascar penguins, shrek and puss in boots as a solo trilogy?! They seriously didn’t have to go so hard but they did and literally nobody can possibly be disappointed with this movie. Death actually scared me for a bit when I first watched the movie.

I find it interesting that Death takes it seriously with how others like Puss treat life itself. And yes, I know Puss angers Death by having so many lives and claiming he laughs in the face of Death when he doesn't have to truly worry about dying until now, but Death really was upset at how Puss was treating all of his lives. It's interesting.
That is because life and death are connected , birth is the beginning of life and death is the natural end of life. Cannot have one without the other, Mocking or disrespecting death is to make light of life itself. Puss definately disrespected death, so Lobo needed to show Puss the error of his ways in order to have Puss value most what is most dear to him.... his life .

It’s been years since a movie children are definitely gonna watch has featured dark themes and explicit humor. It’s important to expose slightly older kids to this stuff and it was so refreshing as an adult.
