The green noodles dessert is Cendol, which you can find across South East Asia especially from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. It is made with rice flour and the green colouring extract from the green pandan leaves.

Just ate some chicken pad Thai! First time having pad Thai! It was a lunch portion from an Asian Fusion restaurant. I almost got the $8 pork bun appetizer to go along with the Pad Thai, but will get the bun the next time. It came with rice noodles, red pepper, fried tofu, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts in a savory and slightly sweet seasoning. Loved it! Thanks! Now have to find some Boat Noodles. One thing I think I remember reading how the the sugar from the palm tree is used, how it's harvested, and how the people who harvest it are treated, are not good. Have to research it. But the food does look awesome and those prices must go a long way to offset the cost of the airfare to get there!

The steaming Boat Noodles with thin rice vermicelli looks amazing, and the Chrysanthemum drink seems refreshing! 😋🍜 7:22 The Cendol with Palm Sugar and Coconut Milk dessert is the highlight of this review, and the Vietnamese call it Chè Bánh Lọt. I had this dessert many times before, and it's soOoOo good!!! 🤤 Thank you for sharing this yummy review, AK! 🤗
