    Ok Ladies and Gentlemen......I will back up this woman's claim on how well awesome works!!!! I used it also on my tub and NO LIE the dirt started dripping off the wall of the shower before I had a chance to put a rag to it. I have been using "awesome" for over a year and I swear by it. IT WORKS GREAT

  • @KLUNKET
    @KLUNKET Před 8 lety +2

    it works better if you treat deep stain a couple of times by spraying it- let it soak, then dont rub it with a cloth right away, suck it up in a shop vac first... do that a couple of times- then spray it again kind of heavy, use a laundry brush on the spot, then dab it up with a clean cloth- then turn the cloth around to the clean side and repeat again. It will get out anything. It gets the grease out real good, but when you use the same side the cloth you will just be smearing the stain around rather than getting it all the way up. Thanks for the vid- I never even would have thought to use this stuff until I saw your video

  • @cabking2000
    @cabking2000 Před 10 lety +6

    This video is absolutely correct, however-always use rubber/latex gloves when using this product. A mixture of 6 parts water to 1 part cleaner is sufficient for most cleaning jobs.When using full strength, hold a cloth over your mouth/nose and wear eye protection. I've used this to clean everything for over a decade. I use at least 10 bottles per month. It's absurdly powerful and toxic. In full strength, it will kill HIV. Thoroughly rinse any surface that will come in contact with skin. Never use near or on anything related to pets. NEVER use in any strength on plastic. OK for vinyl but spray on a damp cloth, then clean, don't spray onto vinyl directly. On carpet, surround the area to be cleaned with towels to control where the spray ends up. If using it, makes you cough or itch, DO NOT USE. Get into a shower immediately. Active ingredient is exactly what is used to clean up oil spills in lakes and oceans. Never use if in a hurry, some heavy deep stains require soaking for 10 to 20 minutes . Good luck, enjoy, and do not sidestep safety, ever.

      Where does it say it kills HIV or any other microbe? It doesn't. It is a degreaser, not a disinfectant.

      @cabking2000 Před 9 lety

      Peter Hewel Thank you for paying close attention to my comment. More than likely, the manfacturer does not promote this as a disinfectant in order to circumnavigate goverment regulations pertaining to such. You can test my statement by using it as an insecticide, which I also do. Don't spray on bugs in grass or plants. They'll die too.

    I absolutely LOVE using L.A.Awesome for the sticky residue that collects on the stove hood. I've tried EVERYTHING else in the book, sometimes just for fun, but when you apply Awesome and wait just a few seconds, it MELTS the junk and it wipes right off.
    I'm incredibly grateful to that company for never raising the price. Many, many people have learned how great this cleaner is, and by keeping the price at $1, many of us are able to keep back-ups of it. (I'll let us run out of a number of things, but L.A.Awesome is one thing I won't put up with being out of!)

    First off 100% agree the stuff is totally awesome like the name says been using it forever it has replaced most of my cleaners however I just would like to add do not get on finished woodwork or painted surfaces or the soft number pad on your microwave please follow the instructions as I learned the hard way and now have a kitchen table to refinish. One other side note just some constructive criticism you should always agitate the cleaner you spray with your fingers and blot(not scrub) with your cloth as you can trasnsfer the stain and make it larger to the pad underneath which can then come up at a later time (just passing along some lessons I learned the hard way ) happy cleaning and by the way thank you for the sacrifices you military families make for the rest of us every day God bless you!!!!!!

    • @patrickzambito4451
      @patrickzambito4451 Před 6 lety +1

      Jodi Moss if you haven't refinished the table yet, after sanding completely with a random orbital sander or whatever, use wipe on stain and wipe on poly. I did this and my table came out better than new. Don't be afraid to put many coats of wipe on poly because it is very thin but works amazing. My table is a high table with black legs and black chairs so I went with minwax hickory wipe on ploy.

    Average price of household cleaners; "name brand" is 2.98 to 6.99. Majority of cleaners are used as bottled. I can (and do) dilute this LA Awesome, at around 8 parts water to 1 part of Awesome and this stuff really cleans. I buy a 40oz bottle from Dollar General and dilute it and get a few gallons from it. It can even be diluted much more that 8 to 1. Here's the thing; this shit works. It has some kick-ass cleaning power
    This started out years ago with an info-mercial, one of those commercials that are about an hour long with a live audience, however it never really caught on. I'll bet it was going for 14.99 a bottle, plus ship and handling.

    Is it acidic? Does it leave behind a residue that attracts dirt? This is what I've been looking for a cleaner that has no residue and degreases.

    There is no reason to use this undiluted. It is way too strong. It will strip the color out of nylon carpet. The pH is 12.0-13.0, which is nearly as high as bleach, which runs 13.0-14.0. It will not harm olefin commercial carpet or builder grade residential carpet made of olefin. We dilute 16 oz with 2 gallons of water, that is a 1 to 16 ratio. 2 ounces will make a quart. We use this to strip grease of vinyl floors and tile and grout. We wash heavily smoked damaged walls after a fire at this ratio, If we use it to clean residential carpet spots, we dilute 4 ounces into 2 gallons. That is a 1 to 64 ratio. That appears to make it safe for nylon carpet. Even if I was degreasing engines, I's dilute it to 1 to 4. This product must also be rinsed out.

    Can I clean my floors with this stuff (I have basic tiles on my floors that are light tan in color, I want my floors brighter). I seen this stuff in Deals, Dollar Tree stores for years now and thought it was some cheapo cleanser with scent.
    I'm gonna buy some 2morrow.
