Also Mythy, there is a post credit scene in the game if you collect everything, that sheds light on some of the story. I do recommend not gathering it all cause it's a pain, but definitely watch it after the game.

Mythy, serious question/suggestion. Obviously, it's much better for you when you just do whatever on a whim, but have you considered doing community polls alongside whatever you want to play next yourself? Let me explain.
Basically, you can easily juggle 2 series, one that you just randomly picked like usual, like another Pokemon or whatever, and another one is whatever community voted as the one they want to see most. We also know games that are good and we are familiar with your taste, so we obviously wont advice trash. So you can pick several games for the next one, and we vote for one of them.
I just feel like it would satisfy both you and us as well. Obviously, we are here for your personality and will watch anything as long as you are in it, but there are a lot of good suggestions from a lot of people that want to see different games, and they kinda drown into nothing daily. So, what do you think about it?

Alright so she lost her voice in the beginning. Thats usually synonymous with losing your identity. And because of that her world is grey - she has nothing that makes her HER yk? So perhaps the colours throughout the game that get created essentially means her finding her identity again. So she wont be Gris anymore

Spoilers:
The protagonist is going through the 5 stages of grief after the death of her mother. The colour grey could maybe symbolise the depression and feeling of emptiness one experiences after losing a loved one
The music, the symbolism, the underlying sadness... if you like this game, I think you'd really like Rime. It's a great game, but not a very well-known one. It has a great art style, good music, and a great (if sad) ending. You should definitely check it out!

Reminds me a lot of "Journey". Just a visual adventure and story that you have to put together yourself accompanied by beautiful instrumentals.
Absolutely stunning game visually, and incredibly deep even though no dialogue is spoken. I think my favorite visual aspect was how certain environments 'pull back' to give you a sense of the HUGE scale of the environments and how small you truly are. Fantastic game. Glad you enjoyed this.

I always interpreted that blackbird as representing Depression.
In our darkest hours, it can feel relieving to be able to shut off our emotions and stop feeling the tirade of sadness, anger, and, more specifically, guilt. But the problem with Depression is that it's greedy; by turning off your emotions, you are unable to recover fully. It holds on hard and becomes suffocating. If you try to change it or fight it, it can scream you into submission. The only way to move past it is to accept that it is a part of you and learn how to feel again, little by little.
Or it could be a representation of toxic relationships. Either interpretation is valid.

in case you haven't realized, this game's motif is the idea of grief. and it stages and a lot of the interactivity in the game is a metaphor for actions people take when dealing with grief.
For real myth this game is 100% a decent game to play on your own time if you have the ability.
