Here's an interesting note.
The two teams that have made their Conference Championships the most (NFC: 49ers; AFC: Steelers) have never met in the Super Bowl. Closest were 1984, 1994, and 1997.
Kinda makes sense considering both of those teams have lost a ton of conference championships. Because despite making less conference championships the Cowboys have more super bowl appearances than the Niners and the Patriots have more than the Steelers.

I'm so glad the Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Superbowl again in 2023! They won the AFC championship! They FINALLY BEAT the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in this year's AFC championship game in 2023 after they kept losing to them in multiple games, even in the AFC championship game last year in 2022! The Kansas City Chiefs FINALLY got their revenge against the Cincinnati Bengals after the Cincinnati Bengals kept beating them and talking trash about them, even Cincinnati, Ohio's mayor for crying out loud! Lol 😂 I'm a Kansas City Chiefs fan in Nashville, Tennessee, home of the Tennessee Titans and NO, I'm NOT a bandwagon fan! I lived in Nashville, Tennessee since 2004 and I moved to live in Kansas City, Missouri for 3 months from May to August last year in 2022 before moving back to Nashville, Tennessee in August last year. I've stayed loyal as a Chiefs fan even when the Chiefs lost games last season, including the 2022 AFC championship game last year! They're AFC champions again! They FINALLY took down the Cincinnati Bengals after losing to them in multiple games, even in last year's AFC championship game in 2022! On to Superbowl 57 we go!!! Now, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce are gonna play against each other in the Superbowl, uh oh, it's brother against brother! I've NEVER seen a Superbowl game like that in my lifetime! 😳 They're gonna go at it! LOL 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 GO CHIEFS!!! 🔴⚪🔥👏👍💪💯
I’ve been a Chiefs fan since 1998, this win was emotional for my family and I since my Dad passed away a year ago (he was also a big Chiefs fan), and to think the Chiefs would go from 50 years without making a Super Bowl to going to 3 of them in the last 4 years. Patrick Mahomes really changed this team

The last 12 AFC championships have featured either the Patriots, Chiefs or both. 8 in a row for the Patriots and then 5 in a row for the Chiefs with the Patriots' last and Chiefs' first being their only overlap. Insane

The 1979-80 AFC Pittsburgh championship remains tainted to this day. All due to the blown call on Oilers receiver Mike Renfro. Even though his feet were in the end zone it was still ruled an incomplete pass. This was the start of the decline of the Houston Oilers franchise intimately leading to their move to Tennessee. Their owner Bud Adams couldn’t get a new stadium done in Houston and even though he was a jerk everyone got screwed there especially the fans. Oh yeah the playoff meltdown against the Bills in 1992-93 pretty much cinched the franchise move.

The AFC Championship since 2003 has either been in held in: Gillette Stadium (2003, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017) Heinz Field (2004, 2008, 2010), Lucas Oil Stadium (2006, 2009), Empower Field (2005, 2013, 2015), or Arrowhead (2018-2022).
The last time it wasn't at any of those 5 was 2002 (which was the also the last time that neither the Patriots, Colts, Steelers, Broncos, or Chiefs made it to it) .
And since then the AFC QB in the Super Bowl has either been Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, or Patrick Mahomes (sole exceptions (funnily enough, both named Joe) Super Bowl XLVII (Joe Flacco) and Super Bowl LVI (Joe Burrow)).

Since the Kansas City Chiefs (which is in Missouri and NOT Kansas) are supposed to be the best team ever, how come they've we on only 2 Superbowls in 50 years, answer me that.
