The UCF Golden Knights have one of the craziest football stories ever. Since 2004, they have been on a stretch of constant up and down seasons, with the most volatile stretch lasting from 2013-2018.

How fitting that the history of a team from Orlando has been a roller coaster.
😂 Good one!
Take my like and get out
I live in Orlando and our sports teams are a rollercoaster
😂😂😂I can’t
This comment was Magic. Well played
Fun fact: Deestroying played on the 2015 UCF team that went win less, as well as the 2016 team, but was forced to leave prior to the 2017 season because of his CZcams page
I lowkey don't know how I feel about his situation, like dude had a chance to play college football and perhaps go on to the NFL. A very difficult chance to achieve, but he has had a ton of success with his CZcams career so it works out in the end.
Yea I been knew that
Yessirrr Mr. Ten Toes Down 👇
fun fact destroying is a premadana and cared more about social media then football!!!
Now he would be able to do both.
Proud to say that I attended UCF beginning in 2015 and despite being 0-12 I never missed a home game in my 5 years there. Got to go to the Peach bowl for our undefeated year as well. Go Knights!
Sheeshhhhh, Lucky
I was at the 2017 War on I-4 even though USF lost it’s one of the best games to ever happen in school history.
I was a student at UCF then and lived just off campus. Forgot to try and grab student tickets and missed out. Ended up watching it on tv with the game happening only a few miles away. The bounce house was so fucking loud I could still hear it from my apartment when teams scored. still kicking myself for not getting a ticket, easily one of the best games I've every seen!
The one thing I loved about 2017 UCF is that they triggered people. A G5 team not only thinking but 100% believing they could beat 99% of the country and P5 fans were furious. I loved it and loved watching that team.
Not really the same situation, but I kinda see it similar to last year when coastal Carolina shoot up on the poll week by week and fans of powerhouse programs getting so pissed off
So true!! Still unfair they didn't give them a chance.
@Patrick Hudson Exhibit A
@U Suck LOL destroyed (only lost by 8) by one team with the future heisman and the eventually champs in two years, in a game where they actually led and didn't even have their starting quarterback
they should have been given the chance to be in the top four instead of 12
From all Bills fans to UCF: thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for Gabe Davis. Dude's gonna have a great career in the NFL and it's awesome that we've gotten to see him start that career in Buffalo
Gabriel is a beast!
As a UCF student that watched him play for years I knew that he was such a steal in the 4th round. The bills for sure have a stud
And people called him slow out of the draft
that guy went too my high school seminole high school
I was super happy that Buffalo got him. Absolute draft steal, and he gets passes from Josh Allen too.
That divisional round game was INCREDIBLE, although I'm sad they lost. Got to steal Mike Hughes' ankles tho!
UCF is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

I moved out of Orlando in 2017 UCF went 13-0

Thank you for your service.
As a UCF fan who started going there in 2008 this video puts a massive smile on my face. It's crazy to see how far we have come.
As a lifelong UCF fan and now student equipment manager of the team I greatly appreciated this video. I was there for every since home game of 2017 and I attended the peach bowl in Atlanta truly a one of a kind season
He died?? “He f***ing died y’all” That’s the craziest part of the video O’Leary shoulda been fired after that, if not prison
I would blame the medical staff he should of never been cleared to play if he had those kind of issues
his family deserved every million they got.

Thank you so much for covering my beloved Knights. This was a fantastic recap of our history.
And props for pronouncing Kruczek correctly. That's a tough one.
Great video! 2015 was my Freshman year at UCF. Looking back it was awesome to witness the low of 0-12 and then the high of 25-0. The height of the hype being when College Gameday came to our campus in 2018 for our game against a ranked Cincinnati
Let’s gooo. Like Christmas every time KTO uploads

Mike Hughes was my high school's QB when I was there, pretty sure we were in the same grade and I probably had classes with him. Wasn't ever really friends with him but I have friends who were, glad to see he got the spotlight at the end of the video and hope he can turn things around in the NFL.
this is the same Mike Hughes thats been busted up since being drafted by the Vikings if i am thinking of the same dude and I also am hoping he gets fit and can get it together
dude has a neck made of glass, unlikely
NBHS? lived there for 8 years but left before Hs. Had friends on that team, nice seeing him in videos like this and the NFL
@@gusmoore4774 Yup, I moved away after I finished high school but agreed it's good to see him still getting some recognition.
He's looked solid in a mostly backup role in the Chiefs secondary. He started Week 14 and was named AFC defensive player of the week. Most of the year he's returned kicks though. I'm glad he's on the team because he's nice insurance in case a starter goes down.
I’m lucky enough to have gone to that UCF/USF game. The Conference Championship Game against Memphis was also unbelievable. What a great year!
UCF is the epitome of "I can do this all day"
9:51 is a perfect example of bipolar disorder
The best thing ever was getting so lucky to be a freshman in 2017…went into the first game expecting nothing since we came off 6-7 and then boom…the most fun season and time of my life. Best intro to college I could’ve asked for😅

The UCF-USF is one of the greatest games nobody talks about
It's really not lmao maybe a few years back nowadays USF is an easy W
@Daniel Bennett I know I'm saying that USF has fallen off so badly that it's no longer a real rivalry but an easy W.
@@fabiantaveras8458 USF went from "well they could upset this top 15 team, _____ better be careful" to an autochalk win in what, 7 years? Really unfortunate, but I think they have some of the worst facilities in D1 or something like that.

@@fabiantaveras8458 the team was 9-1 at the time and we are not talking today's usf or their past, we are talking about the game
I was at the Ucf usf game in 2017, craziest game ever. Mike Hughes parents were also sitting right behind me
That USF game was the greatest game I've ever seen. It was electric in the stands and it went back and forth all night. Just amazing.
I remember going crazy when Mike Hughes scored that touchdown I was at the game one of the best
that’s the day i truly realized why it’s called the bounce house, stadium rocking, beer flying, that was a good night
I’ll never forget this season, watching this video and remembering how magical it was brought actual tears to my eyes. You’ve always done a great job but this one got me. Nice.
Graduated from UCF in 2017. To say those four years 2013-2017 was a roller coaster would be an understatement. Appreciate the effort put into all your videos but this one of course takes the cake for me, much love! Go Knights charge on.
I remember the UCF USF game. I watched it live and I remember the USF touchdown. After that, my dad told me that UCF was going to at least get good field position on the kick return. But when the kick return happened, both me and my dad started cheering and getting exited.

Been going to UCF games since I was 6. Used to watch them in the citrus bowl before they got the stadium on campus. The games are always a roller coaster of emotions but always fun
I was a student manager on the first 0-11 team back in 2004. Those were the dark ages for real. On the field when we beat Marshall to break that winless record when we went 8-5. What time. #GoKnights #ChargeOn
Rememebr how in 2005 we cheered for literally every first down, lol Pepperidge farms remembers
I was at the UCF vs USF game that year and I cannot even begin to explain how wild it was. You couldn't set anything on the bleachers or it was getting slung up in the air. Food flying, drinks spilling, screaming that could be heard from miles away
Your outros are always great
Superb video as always man. 👍🏽👍🏽
Can you bring back the sports therapy podcast? I miss that
It is once the season starts again
Yeah I’m missing it too, can’t wait for the season to start
Those couple seasons when Frost was running UCF(the "East Coast Oregon years") were so great! It's a travesty that the undefeated 2017 team weren't invited to the playoff.
And to really shine a spotlight on how great a hire he was - look at the collapse of Oregon football under Mark Helfrich after Scott Frost left: 2014(w/Frost) UO goes 13-2, PAC12 champs, beats FloridaSt by 39pts in the Rose Bowl & makes an appearance in the Natty. 2015(w/o Frost) UO goes 9-4 & gives up a 31-0 lead in a loss to TCU in the Alamo Bowl. 2016 UO goes 4-8, loses to an inferior OrSt team to end the season & Helfrich is fired.
Frost is good but I'd be surprised if he was able to get Nebraska going again. The fans and boosters will kick him out before he has a chance to rebuild the program fully.
I really love & look forward 2 ur college football videos
Glad to see you back.
Never change your outro music, it could make even paint drying seem hyped up.
During the 2017 season, the championship game against Memphis was one of the best games of the season. Memphis came back and had a chance to win it but missed a field goal and it went to overtime. Memphis and UCF always play incredibly tight games
Was at that game, the sound the stadium made when that first kick was blocked nearly blew my eardrums out
This channel will always be great.
What a crazy program man great stuff KTO
As a fan, I think it's very interesting how the history of the team goes. Many teams feared them early on because they would give even SEC teams heart attacks. The future is bright with the Gus Bus though, and it's very exciting for the city of Orlando's hometown team!
And I'm glad that O'Leary is basically forgotten. He did some good things for the program, but moving on was needed.
yeah both my cousins went there, and they have years where they just get super dangerous and could rly stand toe to toe with top programs
As a UGA fan, i want teams out of the Power 5 to be truly great. Imagine if someone like Rutgers made it to the championship while dominating
They were a little above average but would have been beatin pretty bad by a lot of the top sec teams. Definitely their best team yet though
Wow, so when I was 10 years old I guess, I went to the 2007 Liberty Bowl where my MSU Bulldogs squared off against conference champions UCF. We won 10-3. This was in Mississippi States dark ages, so that in it of itself is crazy to me
I was at that war on I4 game in the student section with my brother and the boys and that is prolly the best live sporting event I’ve ever been to. Absolutely electric environment that last 5 minutes was just unreal!
WOW i can only imagine !!!
Man I love these vids for no reason
It most really be exciting to be UCF fan you never know what you are getting
My grandpa is an FSU fan first and foremost, but living in the Orlando area for over 20 years, he became a UCF fan too. He's pretty much said this exact thing. He was drawn to the team for that reason
Les go another upload
This could have been a 40 minute long documentary, still so many crazy stories that were missed completely in the video during these last few seasons
Nice vid love your content it’s so entertaining👏👏👏
I would take anything Deestroying says with a grain of salt. One of his story’s about how he almost got in a fight with his coach over kicking to McCaffrey when his team played Stanford. Deestroying claims that he kicked to him and it got returned for a TD. Problem is when you look at the highlights of the game there were no kickoffs returned for TD’s. Also there are suspiciously few comments pointing this out so it’s likely he deleted most of the comments calling him out. Bottom line is that he will make stuff up and pass it off as true.
That might be true, but everything that KTO says in the vid is backed up with video evidence, including the part about the kid dying, so I think he's being truthful, atleast in this vid.
True, just looked at the box score. McCaffrey had 3 returns (1 kick and 2 punt) for 49 total yards, average 16 yards.
I was a student at UCF during that time. freshman year: winless, sophomore year: 6-5, Junior year undefeated, senior year undefeated
I love when you do these kinda videos
Thank you for making this video. I love ucf
As a lifelong Husker fan, I was ecstatic when they hired Scott Frost. I’m so glad he was able to bring them success. I’m always rooting for the Knights now!
Would you say he's giving it a good go here in Lincoln?
Glad he turned ucf around like he did! Hopefully he can finally get my huskers on board! I know his first seasons have been tough. But I keep seeing improvement. Especially this year
Well uh this didn't age well
As a UCF fan, I’ve seen some really really good seasons, and some bad ones. I’ll be going there in a year. This year, the team there is looking pretty talented offensively and better defensively, and the wonders Gus Malzahn has already done is 100x better than Heupel ever did. This year is guaranteed double digit wins I’m telling you
Sick video dude 🤜

You should do what if Aaron Hernandez never went to prison.
If this comment gets 1k likes KTO has to change his name to KTGoat
A similar collapse to what UCF went through although the bounce back took longer was Southern Miss who went from 12-2 in 2011 with a historically solid program to immediately losing 23 straight games. They eventually got good again but it took a few years.
The 2013 season was under the existing Big East conference and used their existing auto-bid to the Fiesta Bowl, a BCS bowl. They didn't change their name until the next year. When UCF won back-to-back conference championships if you count it as the same conference.
