- In today's video I react to a drummer I've been following for the past year who has an insane drumming style. His name is El Estepario Siberiano.

MAN!!! I’m honored!!! Thank you so much for this❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You guys really do need to get together for a longer interview. Everyone is waiting gentlemen! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@paulauksztulewicz4803 Agreed!
We need an interview Rick.
Absolutely! What reason could there be not to do it!? I'm so happy Rick is giving a shout-out to someone I've been listening to for so long! @@paulauksztulewicz4803
The guy is absolutely incredible. Drumeo flew out to Spain and recorded a load of technique lessons with him. He was impressively open about how his skills are all down to hard work and practice rather than claiming some kind of "divine talent". He definitely deserves all the recognition he's been getting.
Yep, his messages about hard work and practise are universal. I love his videos, but I couldn't drum my way out of a wet paper bag! 😂 However, you can apply his messages to anything in life and that's what I love.
It always annoys the h*ll out of me when great artists are referred to as 'talented', as if it's a gift from God and all smooth sailing from there. Sure you need base talent and physical ability/agility to play an instrument, but most of it is sheer hard work and dogged determination to persist honing the skills that lead to greatness.
@@diatonicdelirium1743 Talent and luck are concepts too often used to undermine people who dedicate themselves to a skill and benefit from it.
Estepario is an incredible drummer and person. We had a great time at his place in Spain, and he's actually been to our facility in Canada. The content will be released sometime in 2024. Happy drumming!
Its like the Japanese kid concert ... Epic Mascot Drummer Nyango Star ... goes from your basic drumming to something else 🙂
I've been a drummer all my life and a professional military musician for a 20 year career... this guy is an ABSOLUTE animal. This is a real world example of determination and effort. Unbelievable.
Neurotic music. Let's get back to Charlie Watts style drumming. It's good for our soul. You see folks, music brings out emotions when we listen. Slow it down. The virtuoso players have exceeded the capacity of the human ear. Slow it down. Take the Neurotic style out of music. Listen to quincy jones album that covers Henry Mancini. It's relaxing
@@stephenwhorton4942 I like fast tempo music only (mainly), never liked slow songs, thought they're too boring. Maybe I have a fast heartbeat, my girlfried told me that, idk. But I tend to like faster music only, across all genres. I never listen to relax. I listen to feel hype and a lot of energy. Everyone is different.
In a world of smoke and mirrors we all can agree that honesty and passion are what makes our hearts beat ❤❤ (with cowbell of course) 😂
We need more cowbell!

One of the best drummers on CZcams. You should do a video on Charles Berthoud next, best bassist I've ever seen.
+1!
That one is waaaaayyyy overdue
Excellent recommendation! Maybe we can get an El Estepario / Charles collab…produced by Rick!!

Absolutely. The guy is totally world class.
Hey Rick, love your videos. Let's collab. - Jared
I would love to see what that collab could bring us, hope he sees this
Do a segment on how drummers write for certain songs or improv techniques.

Love your channel. A collab would be sick
“Respect for anyone who gets on line to bear their soul. “ Well said Rick. Not only a musical master but a master good bloke .
Bare*
You could feel and see Rick's empathy when hearing the dude's story. What a decent and genuine guy Rick is.
El Estepario Siberiano on Rick's channel? Amazing, two of my all-time music go-to channels together! Well done Estepario, you deserve this and more.
A lot more
He appeared in my feed mostly likely because I'm a Beato subscriber. The several videos of his I've seen have left my rather speechless. It's very cool that Rick decided to plug him here. Having him on the channel for an interview would be a real blast.
Trip to Spain for Rick in the near future
EXACTLY!!! RICK, PLEASE GET THIS MAN ON YOUR CHANNEL
Yessssss...
Love the video when he tells his audience that he doesn't believe in talent but in dedication. Everyone should see that video.
He's entirely wrong. But it's motivational of course. This guy is what happens when otherworldly work ethic meets exceptional talent.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Put the two together though and you get El Estepario.
He shows videos from when he was like 12 as an example of how far he's come, despite the fact when he was 12 he was better than the average person that has been playing for 20 years.
He sounds like he directly studied under Neil Peart.
@@MikeC-nu7ty Funny how it's often the exceptionally talented that claim talent doesn't exist. Probably because they just can't fathom that some things are just too difficult for some people, hard work or not.
Obviously there is a "natural born talent", but that talent won't become anything amazing without dedication. There's a reason there aren't tons of people like El Estepario. He's fortunate to be extra talented naturally. That being said, he'd probably be "Very Good" with only limited dedication, but instead has become "One of the best on the planet" through his incredible dedication.
That's something incredibly talented people say.
I’m so glad that you’ve featured El Estepario on your channel. This guy is phenomenal but as you rightly pointed out, so is his showmanship! Thank you so much !
Love him. His passion goes through the screen. I don't play the drums, nor have I ever been interested in drumming. I don't like metal. But I watch everything he does because there's such inspiration there. He makes every song better and he has made me appreciate music I never listened to before. He is insanely musical
Guy can play anything, effortlessly, while making the scene so entertaining. He really deserves being showcased on your channel, Rick. Thank you!
You’ve enriched the lives of millions … and though all the grieve and unbearable pain there’s been a reason: I’ve been in this industry for more than four decades and I can assure you that most of those you and I have been admiring all our lives have become who they are because of their struggles and failures- not because of their successes.
Happy 2024 !
Regards from two countries away !
It is NOT effortlessly at all man! Tell him that after practicing 40 plus hours to create a single video...
He ruins every song he plays. It's stunt drumming. Dude could never be part of a musical group because he can't just be part of a rhythm section.
@@Borodin410mediocrity enters the chat.
But not before the glazing sycophants. @@nickmenza2671
Insane talent. His best videos are the ones where he plays radio friendly pop songs. He is able to somehow improve on grooves that are already perfect. He will sometimes play multiple percussion parts and still manage to add that certain something that puts it over the top. The spooky part is, it appears to be effortless. 😵💫
did you see the new one where he shoots a shot gun while playing ???
He’s incredible! His drumming is insane, he’s super funny and he seems very honest & humble. What’s not to love about the dude. I have watched his videos over & over again.
Man is a monster. This is the reason we all love music. It doesn't matter the song style, the beat count. Its just the joy, the passion of playing. With a goal we all want. but very few will ever obtain.
Dude's the living definition of "out of the ordinary", the one arm parts and how he plays around doing other stuff are mind blowing.
YOU MUST DO AN INTERVIEW WITH THIS GUY. I’m curious about what is going on in his head when he plays. Like, how does he count off where he is in the song? How far ahead of the song is he to be able to plan his fills? How many times does he need to listen to a song before he has the song down? Does he have a photographic memory for music?
I think the call to Mars would be expensive.
It's called practice, muscle memory, and many, many takes.
@@EpictheEpicest and being really really really x a zillion....good!
@@EpictheEpicest
Takes are better than edits. 1 clean shot from a single camera. No smoke, no mirrors
He has talked about that in interviews before.. but they are in spanish.... If you ever have seen making those "tupa tupa" sounds with her mouth, that is basically how he "writes down drum parts".. Everything you see in the videos is written down in paper using "his method", that helps him to remind parts.. and after 40 takes he probably just does not need it anymore.
I am a 64 year old woman, not a drummer, but I came across one of his videos and thought it was insanely awesome. 😅Had to replay the video several times.😊
El Estapario is without a doubt ... The Groovefather. God bless him and you Rick Beato, happy New Year!
NO... HE'S A PERFECT MACHINE.. groove is another thing you must understand..
Honestly, the thing that impresses me the most about his playing is that he makes so much sound with the smallest kit possible. That's what always blows me away.
The thing I love about him is that he makes it look effortless. He doesn’t sweat over anything. He could be playing those fills and in his head thinking about how he’s going to make dinner. It’s fantastic to see someone that gifted
I like drummers who look like they need to put effort in.
Robotic mechanical playing is not interesting to me.
@@Incomudro1963 he just shows the 'effortless' side on camera. The 'punching the floor tom' moments are off-camera, the guy puts a lot of effort to make it look effortless.
Once you've developed sufficient muscle memory, it really is effortless because you don't have to think about it. Your body just knows what to do. But getting to that point takes many, many hours of dedication and practice.
He did say recently that he spends a lot of time practicing the part before he records it. Days and days. But he is not normal. He has something that Ive never seen before. Forget the fills and crazy speed. The fact he carry 4 or 5 different rhythms at the same time is what blows he away.
@@Incomudro1963 Oh so it's not interesting because he doesn't look like he has to put effort in? What about the effort in getting to be that good! I bet he will look just as you prefer it on stage under hot lights!
I too, came across after watching one of his shorts. I was just amazed at his sense of feel and his chops, OMG! And yes, what a freaking entertainer. I hope more people get to see him know if you profiled him on your channel give him much exposure. He deserves it, because he truly is amazing!
Rick, you have introduced me to some incredible musicians, complex theory, amazing history and even recording and writing techniques. Your channel is usually the first place I go when I log on. I, too, have been fascinated by El Estepario. He truly is superhuman. I can't imagine the hours he has put in to perfect his craft. He completely boggles my mind and he both inspires and depresses me. LOL! Thank you for sharing yet another outstanding talent. This guy has set the bar for all drummers of all time. Appreciate you sharing not only your passion for music, but the history and theory that goes with it. I think my favorite of your videos is the one you did on "Never Gonna Let You Go" as the most complex pop song of all time. Absolutely fascinating, because much of that complexity goes unnoticed because of the fluidity of the vocals. Not unlike "After The Love Has Gone" by EW&F (and written by another musical giant, David Foster). Grateful for you, man!
This guy has set the bar for all drummers of all time? Not quite.
No matter how horrible my mood, when I see this guy play, it ALWAYS brings a smile to my face.
So true, and I agree 100% - watching him perform is such sheer joy
I've been drumming since 1972 and idolize most of the greats: Peart, Bonham, Gadd, Rich, Baker et al.
I came across Siberiano's channel a few years ago and was immediately mesmerized by his showmanship! Ultimately I came to realize this guy may be one of the greatest drummers I have ever had the pleasure of listening to! Not only the speed and power but the independence and the timing...absolutely amazing!! 😎
great reply. i saw one person in one peanut gallery say it was like he had five or six brains. very cool, this whole thing.
Yea this guy I think is a bit of a mix between Kai Khato from Nightwish ( a machine), and Bohnham (the carisma) ! ?
With no disrespect to any other idols of anyone.. and I love them all, from Free Jazz to Grind/Death Metal.. this guy is the best I've seen and heard. Speed, click tight, hits percision, creativity.. mastered it all. I know he humbles himself and always say it's just "hard work" (and it is, drumming is tons of hard work and self discipline to practice), but he's got something natural for it that cannot be obtain by training.
Some of the "big" drummers, are big because they were in a big band.. and it's so funny and amazing, that this guy.. is.. a "youtube drummer". He gained himself such recognition, all by himself..
@gal2659 I love that he always points out its all hard work. People need to realize that
Talent is a myth.
@@gal2659 I still need to see some feeling from him... we all know he can play fast, but can he play slow? Can he play those songs where it doesn't matter how many notes you produce, but which notes and when? I have seen some of his takes on slow songs, and I'm not convinced...
How clean he plays, his speed, and his musicality make him unique. Very talented. He spoke on the subject of people claiming he was the best in the world. He denied that claim, stating "I'm not even the best drummer in my country." His humble nature garners even more respect. Thank you for your review.
Rick, I'm so glad this guy hit your radar. He is not only one of the most creative drummers out there, he is an amazing human being. PROPS! I do hope you ill get an online interview.
So happy you brought him Rick. The dude is a metronome with unbelievable technic. He tend to be super precise and technical but sometimes you see him able to let it go and make you dance. Always a pleasure to listen to him. Great drummer.
Ametronome that goes up to 11.
Kai Hahto drums, Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars 14 min long,.with his bigger drum set, there is also playthrough with small set.
It’s really understated how amazing he really is at tuning his drums. Not enough drummers get the nuances of it!
i really dont like it.. all his videos sound compressed as hell
lol dude he's great but you're not hearing vanilla drums
That would literally be the only complaint I have of the man, overcompression gallore, BUT it does lend to his playing, making every single hit he plays extra clear making some of the stuff he play sound extra clean, so props to him! The way he tunes the drums lends to his playing and even if that isn't to my liking you can't really complain it doesn't work.
if you think his drum sound is down to tuning you really dont know anything about drums and recording them.
@@La_sagne Compression brings out all your flaws too. Ask any country guitarist.
Rick, I am so glad you have brought him up on your channel. I stumbled across this mans drum videos over a year ago and I find them amazing. I am a guitar player not a drummer but his playing is just something you cannot stop watching. Cannot wait for you to have him in your studio, we already know it will be great.
The guy is a freaking beast. I highly value his showmanship, and I understand it's what's required for this generation of 30 second social media, but his musical skills are out of this world. One of the first videos I saw of him was his cover of Dance of Eternity by Dream Theater, before his channel absolutely skyrocketed, and that's raw dedication and musical craft. Plus, as many others have mentioned, he always says it's all 0% talent, 100% dedication and hard work.
One of the hardest working drummers out there. His skill all comes from insane levels of practice. Deserves every bit of praise he gets. Nothing fake about him.
What I love about your chanel Rick is not only do you showcase musicians, but the human beings within them.
El Estepario Siberiano is a unique talent and an amazing role model for younger musicians. He has fought through very difficult hardships but never let it stop him. He is a symbol of determination and hard work. His passion for music comes from his soul. Its not judgmental or egotistical, its pure positivity. He created his success through proactivity. He made it happen....and he didnt neglect the other important parts of his life.
I am a big fan of El Estepario Siberiano. What an excellent choice to highlight!
I am really happy that that you knew about him and that you highlighted him as a drummer on your channel. His multi beat videos always blow my mind. Wishing the both of you continued success!
This guy is 100% PURE BEAST!!! - PURE FLOW STATE.... INCREDIBLE!!! and his TONE and how he RECORDS the drums sound INCREDIBLE!!! GET THIS GUY IN STUDIO for a deep dive interview - SO EXCITED that you created THIS video... KEEP ON HIGHLIGHTING artists like this RICK! GOD BLESS YOU!!
dude is amazing but recorded sound is flat and plastic buckety. kick sounds cool tho. imho
@@essenceoftheanimalyou can fix recorded sounds though. You can't fix no talent.
I totally agree, that would be awesome 😎👍
yep, that's why I started my comment with 'dude is amazing' my comment about recorded tone was addressing dejblueguitar's comment about how great the drums sound. anyway while I'm in the weeds ill double down. I think its possible that siberiano has to tune his toms and snare in particular for his incredibly fast and intricate technique. it is amazing for sure, but at the expense of tone imho. I watch techy drummers for inspiration but I listen to music where the drums serve the song. hearing musicians flex can be great but it gets old fairly quickly. he is clearly an incredible and talented player though and he is killing it with youtube so more power to him! @@GameTimeWhy
@@essenceoftheanimalhis videos since moving into a professional studio a few months ago definitely sound better, if you have not heard them please go take a look
I’m glad that someone outside the drumming community, but with significant musical expertise like Rick, is talking about this drummer. Firstly, it helps him reach an even broader audience, and secondly, because what he does combines art and artistry - deserving applause from all music professionals and respect and admiration from all sides, especially when one knows his background.
Been watching him for about 6 months and like you gained massive respect for him after watching his 1M subscriber video. Well done a huge fan of both of you.
I just discovered El Estepario a week ago, and I've been watching nothing else since then -- except you of course Rick. My jaw is still in my lap. The guy is amazing! Great technical chops, great showmanship, and a wonderfully straightforward and likable personality. He's who I want to be when I grow up. Definitely see if he can show up for an interview, or even a kam session!
He's fantastic. His story is inspiring. His ability to play different time signatures with each hand and each foot AT THE SAME TIME is astounding! PLEASE get him on your show.
THIS! The video where he uses different geometric shapes to represent different time signatures with the one at 12 o'clock is mind boggling.

This guy deserved nothing but RESPECT! We spent some time with him after playing a show with my band this year because he is a friend of my drummer and he is an amazing guy!
Unbelievable drummer!!
Rick so glad you have discovered him, he is a master, a beast and nobody can hold a candle to him. He is a great and honest man. I dont even play and I cant stop watching him.
He's an astonishing talent. And I get his point of wanting to leave an example of what you can do. I quit gigging full time 10 years and just record and post my material. Whoever digs it, is welcome, whoever doesn't can move along. Either way, it's there. Too many people play, and gig and are good, but once they retire, they have noting to show for it.
I'm not a drummer, but I watch his videos every time he posts. He is absolutely amazing.
HE IS THE REASON WHY WE STARTED OUR BAND... PEOPLE LIKE HIM. THE WORLD NEEDS A LOT OF THAT
Thank you, Rick! As a drummer who has also had to deal with depression, I know exactly how important this kind of recognition and support is for recovery!!! ElEstepario is indeed a force to be reckoned with in the drumming world!
The journey is 90% of our stories. The other 10% includes successes and failures. Showcasing stories that reveal the 90% rather than the successes in the 10% is super helpful. Even the most successful musicians live 90% of their lives on their journey. I think this is a great opportunity to continue down this avenue Rick.
I'm not a drummer, but I'm a musician. And AS a musician you've got to appreciate skill like that and respect all the hard work it took to get that damn good. Right on! Rick does a video on you, man you KNOW you've done something right!
That was a sly dig...😂😂😂
Same! Though I wish I had more resolve and desire to play. I have a hard time learning a lot of the songs I've always wanted to learn--like Rush and Primus for instance.
I love your comment x
What an honor. Think of all the people Rick has had on his channel. A well deserved honor. Congratulations El!
Rick, thank you for havin El Estepario on your channel. He deserves all attention. He's a honest guy, would love to see you both in an interview. All the best for you and your family in 2024!
Dude is AMAZING! That talent is next level. I'm so happy he decided to share his gifts with us. And Rick, I'm so happy to see you sharing him with your audience. 🤘
Most amazing thing is that he has a video called "why talent is a lie"
This interview needs to happen. Amazing drummer and one of the coolest human beings on Earth. These two gents truly rock.
Been watching him for a while. He is spectacular as a musician. He is funny and says off the wall, original things. He created an instrument and worked out a cover of System of a Down. Really a blast to watch. 🎉
This dude is hypnotizing to watch! I love a good drum fill and watching Slipknot live back in the 90's was amazing. I even play the drums, but mostly guitar. However, until this man came on the scene you would not catch me binge-watching drum solos. I am so impressed. Seriously impressed. You're okay too Rick!
Estepario is not only a great performer, but he seems like a prince of a human being, and an old soul. Plus his work ethic is practically unparalleled. I think his practice regimen would rival that of even Virgil Donati. He is truly inspiring and just so much fun to watch.
Oliver Anthonys brother
Except that Virgil is on a totally different and much higher level than Jorge.
He has reinvigorated my interest in drumming…not that there aren’t other absolutely insane drummers, but his presentation hooked me a year ago or so…would love a full interview!
I’m almost 72 years old and I’m been around drums and drummers most of my life and he is the fastest, cleanest, and most innovative drummer of my life time, he single-handedly reinvented drumming

Puzzling how much talent both of you have. Posting together would be stellar. Thank you both!!
I’ve been playing drums for 40+ years and this guy has more talent in his pinky finger then I ever had! lol. He is not only an unbelievable drummer with independence that is out of this world, he sparked a new need to learn and improve myself! Truly inspirational.
Its funny how he simply refuse to use the word talent about his, uhm, talent. Its all hard work. I'd say his talent is his will to practise and not afraid of trying new things
Inspiration from any source is a good thing. He is one of a kind
@@JoriDiculous I agree about 90% with that statement about talent vs hard work. But also, there are a lot of people who have put an equal amount of time into drumming. Like Mr John above, and haven't reached that level of insane skill. There clearly is some difference other than purely hard work. It definitely doesn't take anything away from the insane effort that estepario must put into being able to do the crazy things he does though.

ABSOLUTLY
Such a legit observation
The magic of him is that he is confident, (not cocky), has this swagger about him, and at the same time he's incredibly humble. He seems to love sharing his knowledge with his viewers which is so inspiring. I would LOVE to see him in a live setting with some other of today's great musicians. What a show that would be.
Some other of today's great musicians? Like who?
@@elmhurst86 To me, the last decade has brought an explosion of young musicians who are just astounding at their instruments. Amazing guitar players, bass players, multi instrumentalists; you name it. Guys and girls you've maybe never heard of, doing for their instrument what El Estepario is doing for the drums. CZcams alone has so many unique and talented players.. It's hard to explain what a truly incredible time this is to those who weren't around in the days before the internet. Just the access that kids coming up have to great demos and lessons and knowledge gives those who have the desire and the gift the chance to take it as far as they want to. In the late 1970s, I had, who I believe, was the best guitar teacher in the world. But I only got to see him once a week. There's a lot to be said for total immersion and what kind of musicians can come out of that.
Drumming, in general, is collaborative rather than competitive. Think this is just because of the type of personality that chooses to sit behind the kit rather than be out front.
@@cvn6555
Fantastic comment & reminder: drumming is the body's heartbeat, the basic tool of sacred entrainment & classical military logistics, keystone of collaboration!
It's nice that you highlighted that video where he tells his story. He says that he's not special, he's just a guy that got in a room with his instrument and played for hours, every day for years. That's how you achieve greatness
That's the one word to use for El. Amazing. He's practiced his ass off behind his kit and it shows everytime he sits on his throne. 🤘🤘👍
if you're lucky you get someone like El once in a generation. I'm just glad I'm alive to witness his talent.

One in a billion? Really?
@@elmhurst86 Who is close to as good as him with the technique + flashiness?
@dumbguydepot304 Flashiness? You're kidding right? What does that have to do with the art form of music?! As for technique, there are tons of drummers who have great technique. Jorge is not the only one.
@@elmhurst86 Lol, you sound fun.
Please if there are 'tons' can you share 2 that can do what this guy does?
What does it have to do with the art form of music? Well it's an 'Art form' now isn't it?
You need to understand that many people listen with their eyes as most of the technical brilliance will be lost on them since they have little to no knowledge as to what is or isn't more difficult to perform.
Now go practice and try to stop acting like a total Gamma
@dumbguydepot304 Ah, ok... now I understand. You're not a serious drummer. Gotcha.
Thank you for this great pointer. Just watched a couple of his videos, and he's a joy to watch. Very inspiring too. Glad I found that guy, and I know at least one of my friends will really love his videos too.
Been into his videos for last 6-8 months...love almost all of it...very entertaining and incredible talent/dexterity/coordination of all limbs beyond most mortals...glad you featured him Rick...many more hits are coming his way I'd bet!
You can *hear* the mind-numbing hours of focused, purposeful practice he's put into those linear fills. It's gotten to the point where you could hear them played with his rigor on any album and recognize him from it, despite how commonly used they are in metal drumming and how many ridiculously talented drummers there are playing them. This man is just on another divine level.
Hey Rick ! I have been playing drums for over 45 years . . . various styles, various genres . . . always playing ! I discovered this Cat about a year ago. I agree . . . he's superhuman with his chops and QUITE the entertainer !!! The technology that brought us multiple kick options and alternative percussives is a major part of his bag of tricks . . . but roll-offs single-handed is insane ! A superior talent !
This is guy is incredible and beyond legendary. I’m glad you’ve done a video on this guy since he doesn’t just show his talent, but shows you the discipline and time it takes to become Gret at something you want to do and is a lesson to everyone out there. If wanna be great, you gotta do go through the trials and tribulations to by practice and discipline and be able to be willing to learn all the things that you need to know about your goal. But, importantly have fun. This guy was depressed, which I’m very sorry for him, that must have really bloody tough and no one should have go through life feeling like that. And that realisation of knowing that to leave something behind of what the incredible talent he had achieved, showing the definite article of what had come from his many long hours of practice. Resorting from his feelings of darkness and depression and instead showing his truly outstanding gift to the world. I’m glad your feeling better mate, you are a wonderful man and like I say, a beyond legendary player. Keep kickin’ and hittin’ those drums!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely love his videos. I don't know any rock or metal drummer who can keep up with him. Simply amazing! I hope he starts teaching others and inspires new drummers all over the world.
I’ve had many bonfires burning drumsticks because of this guy. An absolutely amazing talent! 🔥🔥🔥
Must have kept you toasty warm! 😂
Yes Rick, what an ambassador for the healing power of music. As a drummer myself of some 45 years I wish I had a 10th of his ability and skill. Long may he inspire and entertain us. And good on you for bringing more attention to him. G'Day from sunny Western Australia.
Would LOVE to see you interview him!!! I've been following him for about a year now and he never ceases to amaze me.
That cat's as cool as they get. A truly amazing entertainer and musician. There has never been anything like him, nor will there ever be. A really down to earth guy too. I just can't get over how much fun it is to hang out with him and listen to the things he has to say and see him play.
What's most incredible about him is not how skilled he is but how effortless he makes it all look.
That`s the actual skill......to make everything look effortless.
This video is exactly what i needed to hear at this moment in my life. I am an artist and a musician and have never felt so hopeless and so lost and yet creatively I feel like am creating some of the best work of my life yet I feel like I have nothing to show for it. I have been slowly recording and gathering my paintings and whatnot so that I have something to leave behind if I pass (I’m 37) but I hope that I can push through this intense depression and anxiety that has been snowballing ever since the isolation that was brought on by Covid however many years ago.. Anyway, thank you again for the video, it is inspiring to say the least and makes me feel a little less alone in the world full of other creative types going through similar circumstances.

Change ya life man - swear to God!
Just start … breathe in and out … and keep going
@josephw7what a snotty reply. Have you considered that art does not automatically mean "posting art on CZcams"?
@josephw7 I am answering because the guy posted quite a personal message about his struggles and you replied with what sounded like a judgemental interrogation. Saying that you only see the videos of others on his channel and asking "why is that?" sounds like you are putting the original poster down.
Rick you are a truly a great person to reach out to him and be complimentive! Way to go!
What a GREAT GIFT HE HAS BEEN GIVEN!!! Fantastic drummer!
Man, I'm glad you're bringing him on your channel. I've been watching him for like 8 months or so. He is on GOD level. He is the perfect example on what working hard is all about. Respect!
He’s unreal. You said it best. He makes it look so easy and entertains the audience.
The guy is amazing. From the downs, he made the highs. I hope many people are inspired by his story. Just when life looks like it can't get any harder, out comes the sun!
Well done Rick for recognizing this guy's otherworldly talent. He's so entertaining and seems like a great guy. Been following him for a year.
It sounds weird but I enjoyed his confession because I can relate completely. Playing in Hollywood as a metal drummer for a decade to quiting abruptly. It made my thirties feel like I'd accomplished nothing in life. I miss the rush and spotlight. Maby a reunion tour in the future lol. Anyway rock on estapario, ur the man!🤘
El Estepario Siberiano es Interestelar, he’s mucho more than amazing.
He has talent but he put himself as a hard worker.

One of the most amazing humans/musicians I've come across recently. He's been inspiring me for a little over a year.
Hey Rick. You SHOULD try to get him on your channel. I’m sure he knows of you. I think he will be thrilled. After purdy and Greg and all those other BIG drummers. Inviting him would be an enormous boost for his ego and well being. Being named in the same sentence as purdy and Greg and others, wow. That’s such an honor. Great video Rick. Greetings
Absolutely love him. His ''Disasterpiece one handed'' short is what hooked me
He's an inspiring human who deserves every bit of success he gets. An interview with him here would be wonderful. Bring it on. 🤘
Thank both of you for this video. I'm a drummer ever since I learned how to play Wipe Out in the sixth grade on the bottom of one of those trash cans in a park on the Potomac River that you can flip upside down in 1969 AND I'VE NEVER SEEN A DRUMMER WHO IS AS FAST, TECHNICAL AND CREATIVE AS THIS GUY!🥁
Thank you for sharing El Estepario with your community. He has been one of a few musicians on CZcams who has inspired me as a musician and I am now sharing his talent with my 11 yr old aspiring drummer! Love his authenticity and vulnerability. This may help someone out there and give hope.
I've seen some incredible drummers in my life, but this guy makes my jaw drop every time I watch his videos. So glad he's shared his talent with the world.
