The story is perfect in that game and i honestly think story wise its a little better then 3 but overall i think three is the best by a sliver. But i do remeber the codec call from zero in the beginning where he explains his code name about the movie it idk if you have to call him to trigger it or he just says it in his initial call.

MGS2 will always have a place in my heart but 3 is the most well rounded out of the old school MGS games.

In GZ when Paz explodes its actually a rocket from another helicopter and that guy you saw is who you think snake transformed into to hide but it turns out he was the man who was in front of snake to take all Shrapnel and fire and save the boss
DGElite Entertainment no it was paz exploding, venom has brain damage and he hallucinates occasionally, the entire paz sequence on mother base was him mis-remembering her.
