Nice review! I just ordered the black and grey version with a negative display for $163. I also have a 5610 with a positive display. Personally, I like the option of an app. Setting alarms with those buttons can be tedious!

My 5610 is great, and it syncs every evening here in Europe, but there are significant portions of the world that do not have access to the Multi Band 6 network of time servers, and I find that syncing during the day requires patience and close proximity to a sender. For that, the Bluetooth set and sync function on my GA-B2100C (CasiOak) using the app on my mobile phone is great when traveling across time zones. As soon as my phone has signal after landing, I sync my watch and I am set to go.
I like everything about this model except for the yellow metallic accents. I hope that they release new models with the positive display and the composite band with a wider range of color choices.

They have different iterations of negative displays-some better than others. The more recent ones...those negative displays are easy to read (my opinion)

Hi, Can you write where you bought bracelet for dw5600?

For some reason, this watch accumulates dust on the crystal right at the bezel, like yours has here. A little liquid soap and toothbrush takes that away. Oddly, my full metal square doesn't attract dust/grime on the crystal like the resin version.

For me it's "cut" because the prices (as of writing this comment) aren't justifiable. The 5610 will more than suffice.

    I have a 210mm (8.27") wrist.
Do you know how long the watch + bracelet is ?
Can I buy extra spare links for the bracelet somewhere ?

8:35 - Reason why my 2nd G-Square will be the GW-M5610 (and probably what will become my EDC) Also I thought I might be the only crazy person left disliking smartwatches
The GW-B5600 here still has one advantage with its BT, as a fallback sync method in the scenario where the Atomic Clocks get decommissioned for whatever stupid reasons..

Connecting the watch to your phone is entirely optional - it functions perfectly fine without it, but as you say if you can't get a radio sync signal, you can use bluetooth to sync with your phone instead, which is a big advantage. Personally I keep my watch disconnected from my phone. So people shouldn't really diss this watch for having a feature which is entirely optional but also very useful. If it REQUIRED the Bluetooth connection, then for sure, moan about it, but it doesn't.

I believe the above should've been a reply for someone whom would've not seen the positives of this piece past their bias filter.. which I will point that was not the case.
I also believe that not seeing any objective flaws in a product and having no opinion or especially preferences because any sort of bias would be a stupid mindset to be in.
      Just as a general rule..
