    Yes, KANDI does make golf carts that is correct.
    This machine (the KANDI Cowboy), hauls over 1,200 lbs. , tows over 2,500 lbs. helps me harvest trees from my property while navigating the steep terrain through my trails.
    That's pretty much the definition of a utility vehicle.
    If you're wanting to throw mud, do doughnuts and jump hills, then this vehicle is not for you.
    That is called a recreational vehicle.
    I have one of those too.
    This I purchased to work on my property and haven't been disappointed yet.
    Thanks for watching ✌️

    Follow-up of my note re 12v battery issues. (see my previous comment)….. After Kandi shipped a 12v battery to me at no charge, a battery that leaked in transit, Kandi shipped another when I informed them of the problem. The second battery leaked as well. Luckily Kandi had already scheduled a technician visit to fix the fact that the main battery was not recharging the 12v, the technician did come and purchased a new 12v on the way. He and his colleague installed the newly purchased battery and “reflashed” the system and all works well now. The tech informed me that after the “reflashing” the main battery would charge the 12v every 24 to 48 hrs to keep the problem from happening again. Note that an adequate charge of the 12v is required to start the system AND TO CHARGE THE MAIN BATTERY!!! So,,,, the battery that came with the vehicle was faulty and the software of the system was set to not charge the 12v when the main battery charge was below 50%. Now fixed with the “reflashing”……. So, Kudos to Kandi for their excellent support. Of course this problem should not have occurred in the first place. I do like the Cowboy so much better than the John Deere Gator that I replaced with the Cowboy. Many reasons. Hope it continues to work well now that the battery issues are resolved. ACCESSING THE 12V BATTERY UNDER THE HOOD: Had to access the 12v battery under the front hood. Per Kandi technician recommendations, this was accomplished by: 1. Remove the lower windshield section using a 4 mm allen wrench. 2. Remove the two bolts at the top of the hood, now exposed after removing the lower windshield, also 4mm allen wrench. 3. Remove the odd (to me) little push pins fastening the lower end and sides of the hood by pulling out the plastic pins slightly with a screwdriver then completely removing them the rest of the way with needle nosed pliers, then removing the washers also with pliers. The hood then lifts off. Replace the hood by reversing the process. Be careful to orient the windshield correctly. I put it on backwards at first.

    My Cowboy, purchased from Lowe’s a month ago suddenly stopped working. The key fob elicited no response from the vehicle. Attaching the charger also elicited no response. Kandi support informed me that the 12 volt battery was dead. He advised accessing the battery under the front hood (a bit of trouble, but straight forward. I’ll add another comment on that process.) and using routine jumper cables attached to an automobile’s 12 v, then charging the Cowboy in the usual way. Instead I removed the 12 v and took it to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts where they tested the battery, found it dead, but were able to recharge it. I then put the battery back in place and everything worked. I recharged the Cowboy and its back in working order. The Kandi tech said that if the vehicle’s main battery was used to below 50% capacity it would no longer charge the 12 v. He said he would send out a tech to update the system so that it would not have that glitch. No word on when that will happen, but in the meantime I will keep the charge up over 50%!!!! I have called Kandi and Emailed twice and no response regarding my question about level 2 charging. I have 220V 30A max level 2 and want to know if it will charge it faster than the normal 110 adapter. Since you say "quickly" I'm guessing its more quickly than the 110V adapter? Is it 4 hours instead of 8? Also, are the disk brakes hydraulic? How does the 4wd system work? Open or locked rear diff? Can it be locked / unlocked in the front and rear? Is there a glass windshield - DOT approved?

    It's probably the lack of combustion motor, trans, diffs, and muffler noise, why you notice all the rattles and creaks. I'm sure most SXS's have them, there's just to much other noise covering it.

    • @thekingrexway
      @thekingrexway  Před 7 měsíci

      The big rattles were coming from the door latches. I've adjusted them and they no longer make any noise. The other noises seem to resonate from the cool over shocks and A-arm movement. The microphone really seems to exaggerate these sounds from inside the cab. Overall it is very quiet, especially through the trails.

    Clock setting: The clock was a few hours off at purchase, but the minutes were correct. It is automatically set to Greenwich time +/- . To reset, swipe up on the touch screen. This will produce a line of small icons at the bottom of the screen. Tap the circle. The next screen has several options. Scroll down to the “Systems” option and tap. The next screen has obvious choices. I think the Auto/GPS option will set the clock to your location, but I manually added hours from Greenwich Time to match my time zone.

    The price after taxes and dealer fees was $14,928.94.
