If I had not P-ranked all of the available game before playing this level, I have no clue if I would've ever beaten it. It took me hours to P-rank this level, even with its forgiving time requirement.
I don't think it's "harder than P-2" like some have suggested but it's probably the hardest 'fair' custom level I've played. No punches pulled, just a fun, tough, balanced level on par in quality with the base game but with it's own unique flair.

@@misterfish03i wouldn't call those fair, just balanced. they are SKILL tests, they're not supposed to be fair. they're supposed to brutalize you.
@@DumpsterManVODs I will agree with that. The most I would say is that it is harder than P-2 gauntlet in specific, with its general size and wide variety of enemies. Very difficult and incredibly long, but Sisyphus Prime alone probably took me longer to beat than this level.
@@misterfish03 I would call them easier than P-2 and WTSHNN, tbh. Skilltest 2 took me a bit of time to beat, but no more than 20 minutes.
Glad you enjoyed it 🥹🫶 Really feels rewarding to have my level be played and praised by so many faces. I didn’t expect this level to get as much traction as it did, but I’m happy I was very much wrong. 4 months of labor and the fruits to show for it !!

Honestly, at 38:00, Wavetamer is right. Longer levels *are* more difficult (to P-rank), no matter what. As he said, more chances to screw something up and die, even in easy arenas. Running may be easy, but a marathon is hard.
I don't disagree inherently that a level being longer is a factor in its difficulty. I just disagree that the length of this level made it harder than P-2. It's simply not harder than P-2, of course this is subjective, but IMO it's not even all that close to being harder than P-2.

Try to play the Earth level. In my opinion it is the perfect level to play after completing the game. It *is* difficult, but not as bullshit as P-2 or other custom levels are

It's long, kinda sparse on checkpoints, and not at all easy, I also did a lot of exploring lol. But yeah even if you fly through it, this is probably the longest level I've ever played, period.
what shaders are you using?
Uhh, none? Not sure where this question is coming from, does my game not look just... normal? I mean I guess the level I'm playing has kind of a distinct color palette, but I'm not using anything, shaders or otherwise.
@@DumpsterManVODs yes, for some reason my explosions just look like a ball, a full on colored ball, meanwhile yours has a texture on it, ill check my settings just in case.
Oh interesting, I wonder if that is just texture settings though. I've never personally noticed.

I cannot have fun playing this level because of how terrible the frame rate is
I was actually worried about this since I've had random stuttering issues with Ultrakill even in vanilla levels, but somehow I didn't have much trouble even in that insane final arena
