Ok, in the spirit of pointing people in the correct direction:
1) BAPHOMET is an amalgamation of symbols from Hermeticism/Alchemy/Kabbalah.
2) BAPHOMET translates into SOPHIA which is Greek for wisdom. (Templar cypher)
3)It predates Eliphas Levi. (who was a Classically Educated defrocked priest)
4) in the Ryder-Waite Tarot (and probably the French &Venetian Tarot decks which go back to at least the 12 and 1300s) it IS the creature on the "Devil" card.
5) it exists as a Teaching Tool and a reminder of the real workings of the universe.
To Discover the Secrets, you must first understand the Language in which they are written. (Symbolism)
(And remember, even into the 20th century people were being killed for the knowledge it represents)

But just remember, Knowledge, is the Enemy, of Faith.

Really great video. I recently bought a baphomet statue because I appreciate the symbolism behind it. But now I'm in a spot where my children see a weird statue and they don't quite understand it. One thing you got wrong with the meaning of the Pentacles with the Baphamet which more or less itself for lack of better words means "Deep Dive." The Upright represented Death and Ascension to the Divine, and the inverted represented Birth and Descent into the Profane (the material world). Its basically a throw back to Gnosticism.
I enjoyed this, thank you. This view on Baphomet is nice and succinct, and showcases beliefs regarding the symbols; which made for a very balanced watch. Thank you, many things I watch about demons tend to either be skewered in 'this demon good' or 'this demon bad'

Two other quotes building upon the same ideas are:

These quotes summarize the basic structure of the cosmogenesis, the basis of Theoria. From Chaos, Night, Darkness (Erebos), and Tartaros (You get the impression that they are many words ultimately serving as titles of One thing.), there emanates forth an "egg" in the unbounded bosom. The egg is hatched and Eros burgeons forth and with Eros the whole world we know. From the Darkness the Light is born, and then the Light is formed into our "arranged" cosmos. The "highest" in this theology would be the unbounded, primeval Darkness.
This is the primeval roots of ancient Greek Pythagorean doctrine.

Prolly won’t read this but one time baphomet came to my minds eye and I had a blockage in my gut chi zone for years that was removed upon this instance. My childlike self was also involved. In a manner in which I left behind my past hang ups as a child and became a independent man. I left behind the pain and hurt that was caused by my childhood and entered my life refreshed it was ecstatic. Baphomet or whatever their name is truly I think may be rah. The same from Egypt but just a thought

A weird fact about Baphomet, they said that their favorite band was Twenty One Pilots.

Before watching your video, every one I had accessed painted Baphomet in an "evil" light. Your insight was much more compatible with how I viewed this being in a spiritual light.... there are numerous overt and covert signs for one to read, with open eyes. It seems a central trait is the balancing of opposites, as one would find within a reality based on polarity. Your point about our shadow self was very well-made. Thanks for your insight.... it has been invaluable in my research for a poem I will be starting shortly.

Hollywood did a great job misrepresent this symbol as the devil. You can see this in so many horror movies. I also believe that since there are some metaphorical references in the bible(Book of Matthew and Leviticus) that the goat is evil lead to this view. Anyways great video.
