我身為華人的台灣人，以使用華為產品為榮，自從我知道華品牌之後，就開始購買華為的手機，mate10, P30pro, M5平板電腦，及最近才購入的D14 筆記型電腦。若要問我為什麼，我只用4個字「理所當然」，我是華人支持華人的品牌，就只是這樣單純而已，而且使用心得很好，滿意度很高。之前還買過OPPO的手機，也是不錯的產品。
這些都是都是垃圾手機，最好用的的中國手機是魅族。比蘋果，華為，OPPO都好用太多。這些品牌手機我都用過。只有魅族最好。

Last time I checked, Alstrom from France and the Japanese semiconductor industry were wiped out by the US with the same tactics they're using on Huawei now.
The Japan's was Toshiba in around 1985.

And around that year, Japan also signed a "choking" deal with US and other western countries, the name is Plaza Accord Agreement. This deal led Japan into a crisis economic era called 'Japan's Economic Bubble'. Even though the crisis period were just around 1 decade, but the loss is still felt until today...
Japan's economy has been stagnant since 90's until now. The country's heyday were lost since long ago and there's no any significant development in the economy and its people social welfare. That's why living cost in Japan is terribly high and some people even can't meet their ends. The suicide numbers also still high due to stressful way of life.
Thanks to US that made Japan like this.
Back then I saw Japan as the best place in the world, but after I learned more about history and world politics, I came to realize that Japan is not as shiny as in dorama or anime.
It's just like another of US 'vassal state' or in "honest language" = US loyal dog.

I saw his documentary of that poor rural village at Sichuan. It was pretty neutral which was good. However, due to his team are from the PRC, there must be a close monitoring which the contents can never be bad about the CCP. He did his best to hide them but most conscious viewers would notice them a lot more.

After having come across your channel, I feel like I've discovered a hidden gem. I love the way you showcase Chinese and Japanese people's humanity in a factual, nonbiased way. This channel has become one of the few media sources I trust, because I don't feel like any opinions are pushed on me. As a Chinese-American it is so educative and I am really looking forward to more videos with English subtitles as I can't understand or read Chinese and/or Japanese. If I could, I would gladly volunteer to subtitle because I think the world really needs to see past negative media and messy political affairs to the heart of the people. There is definitely an imbalance in all the negativity surrounding China, and I really think once all your videos are English subbed it will open more doors and effectively promote world peace. There is currently very little documentaries similar to your's on the English speaking side of CZcams (or any western coverage of Asia like this) so I think your documentaries are much needed. You are too naïve to think US government play by the rules. Huawei pay Qualcomm is due to the 3G and 4G royalties which is majority owned by Qualcomm. Huawei own most of the patents in 5G and that's why US government don't like it. US government want to force Huawei to give them their 5G patents. Try to understand more how US crushed Japanese semiconductor industry, Alstom and How US control over 50% of Samsung.

It was under pressure from the US as the two countries signed the US-Japanese Semiconductor Agreement in 1986, placing restrictions on Japanese DRAM producers."

@Kenny K that is really due to western bias on japan then what japan is. when you consider the fact that japan is the largest foreigner investor in china and china is by far their largest trading partner. as well as the fact that after US embargo in chip manufacturing, Japan became the largest supplier of chip manufacturing machines to China, effectively undermining US strategic goals. Japan is hardly anti China. Japan has more friction with South Korea than it does with China, leading to a trade war between them which China had to help mediate over to ensure RCEP is passed without issue. in the end China and Japan interest coincident, both want Asia to be a prosperous stable region. it is only the western media only report on things they like and hide things they don't like... so we never see the full picture.

A soft-spoken kid with amazing abilities, very self-assured though outwardly self-effacing. To understand the agenda of the US Govt and why they had chosen to dehumanise Asians/Chinese in such a matter, you will need to have an understanding of American history.

Regardless how rich, successful, powerful a company or its CEO is, ultimately they cannot go against the will of CCP. What happened to Jack Ma (co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba) is the perfect example of that (he didn't even go against CCP, he was merely criticized China’s regulators and banks).
Same goes for Huawei...it is not about them as a company itself wants to do anything evil, but more to do with the fact that if the CCP wish utilise the use of their network infrastructure in other countries to carry spying activities and cyber-attacks, they have absolutely no say in the matter and absolutely powerless to stop them. That's the unfortunate reality of being a Chinese company.
Also let's not forget about what happened to Dr Li Wenliang- the whistle-blower doctor during the initial COVID outbreak.
If Huawei was a Taiwanese private company, then they wouldn't have this issue.

I suggest you broaden your knowledge. Therefore, to use state machinery to sanction a private enterprise Huawei whether it is a state-owned enterprise or not, there must be sufficient reasons. I am surprised why this video hasn't been removed by CZcams along with our comments. I like it when people are being honest and not accepting the reasons for this ban imposed by the previous US government as it is indeed not justifiable. Though Huawei is not state owned, this has already resulted into tension between the US and China.
