Your pet peeve is green bathrooms, mine is exterior doors inside. I HATE when they have a door leading into an apartment that has a window in it, or a door into a bedroom with glass in it. I don't want hallway randos looking in my house! They do this a few times in LN and a lot in TS4.
I was wondering why there are so many green bathrooms in the sims 3, but then I remembered that back in the 90s, my parents also had a green tiled bathroom, complete with a green tub lol...it was light green tho, not puke green lol

For me the apartment lots fare way better than the stand alone houses in terms of style, which is kind of disappointing LOL. What I don't get they sometimes put random furniture in a diagonal just because they can. I mean make it make sense!

So nice to have a brutally honest judgment of anything from the Sims 3. I think, as people hate the Sims 4 and Sims 3 is the better game, they tend to look at it with rose-tinted glasses but it is definitely not without faults. Also, I love that you don't pull punches

I'll tell you about horrible apartments in Bridgeport. I wanted Polly Maloney to move somewhere more decent than her basement, and one of the flats was nothing else but a disgusting furnished garage annexed to a high rise building I've been playing Sims 3 since 2017, and still it's full of surprises. I was furious and wanted to report to the city Hall!
Been enjoying playing sims 4 because of the huuuuuge amount of interesting mods (and also because they finally came out with enough packs to make it interesting 😒). But here I am rewatching all your build rating videos and I'm being reminded of that Bridgeport lore. I loved playing the Littlers and their crazy drama with the husband cheating with the nanny 😯 and I feel like. That's what I've been missing. The LORE from sims 3 how all these people are connected and secrets and drama. In sims 4 you have to create your own lore and play ALL the households to give your worlds a story 🥲 Binge watching you again is making me think tomorrow I'm booting up sims 3 again and I'm gonna play some Bridgeport and maybe some midnight hollow ❤

I don’t know if you remember but some time ago I told you that my the sims 3 game doesn’t work on my pc, well it was just a problem of how I know technology, it actually worked ever since I downloaded it, but I didn’t turn off some switch in (I’m really happy, love ts3) However… the best armchair ever made? Love that leather juicy feeling of that stunning living set that they made for this pack!!!(late night)
A few apartment buildings in Bridgeport are identical, just different floor plans and furniture. It’s possible you are remembering the same shell but different apartment.
Don’t worry I’m gonna get those ones as well! They need a slightly different video structure so I’ll have to figure it out soon... we are almost out of “normal” worlds :|
I didn't played in Bridgeport for years. When it came out I was kinda disappointed by dull weather and ugly textures of skyscrappers. It looked like taken from favela from South America or from mining town deep in Russia. EA's taste improved with time but scheme was often the same - dirty and gloomy towns in expansions, bright and cheerful in store. Luckily, players made such a good custom worlds, that even using shells from Late Night didn't do much harm.
