so I think the reason this is pissing people off is that the English "pronuciation" isnt very true to the actual words in spanish. if you really want to learn spanish this is not the video for you, you should instead look up how to pronounce spanish letters, it is WAY simpler than you might think (like much much simpler than English and that's my first language)

oh my goodness best vid ever. usually when there is a song from a different language, instead of getting the lyrics, i write down what i hear and then sing. its really time consuming. thankfully i stumbled over this vid! it took me a week to learn the whole thing in slow mo. i actually had to slow it down even more in the begenning. then i went to the video a little faster, and then to the normal speed. guess what i did then? i sped up the original till the actuall song felt like a piece of cake! thank u thank u thank u thank u sooooooo much! you made the learning process easier

as someone who took Spanish for around 4 years and is still learning, I can confirm that it can be said "despacito" or "despathito"...doesn't really matter and can be used interchangeably if you wish :)

on one hand i'm glad that you made this video for all of the people who pronounce it with EGREGIOUS errors but also,, quiero isn't pronounced "kwair-oh" but more like "kyeh-ro" along with some other similar errors, some of them being accent based like the pronunciation of "cuello" which is perfectly understandable. it's certainly closer to correct than english pronunciation quiero would have been ("kw-yeh-ro" maybe?), and a lot of it is pretty good, though some of the words' syllables are split up in funny ways lmao. overall, i'm glad that non-spanish speakers are able to at least someone learn the words, which is a major improvement over "mumble mumble mumble PELO mumble mumble RITMO" lmao

I can speak but it just takes a while to get used to the song. And it’s not you but since I can read and speak Spanish, it’s easier for me to read the actual Spanish part. I enjoyed the fact that you had the Spanish lyrics there. Thank you this was ver helpful!
