I would really love to see someone compare this to the trask one. Any possibility you could do that?
I will definitely look into it and see what I can come up with.
Just ordered one that vents both. Looks like a quality product but I can’t help but wonder why it’s so much cheaper than its competitors.
.
I wish I would have waited to get the new one. All the products I’ve got from them have been great quality. Highly recommend them. As for why they are so much cheaper, I’m not exactly sure. The quality is definitely there, it’s not like other things from Asian countries with cheap quality materials. They only thing I would recommend is check that the new ones one way valve actually works on the oil side. As one way valves can be worn out easily due to cheap quality. Let me know what you think of it once you install it and ride with it.
That tool set you recommended isn’t available on Amazon anymore 😔 any other recommendations for a tool that’ll work? 🙏🏻
@@Blazedontwos I have updated the link for you. Thanks for watching!
@@DoubleDMoto that kit you updated will take off that transmission top cover easily? 100%? Ty for helping dude!
I feel it makes it easier/faster to remove it. Always trying to help others! Ride safe!
I just noticed that they have a different one on their website site. Have you seen it? Looks just like the trasks one.
I just checked the website and it does look like the Trask Performance. I will have to look into more.
@@DoubleDMotoI was hoping to see if you were going to get one and test it.
@@CrazyDilbert I will definitely look into it and check it out. A better price than the other companies.
Nice job, but you forgot to re install the small hose oem piece
This version replaces the small hose with the filter. It doesn’t vent the oil side just transmission side. They have an updated one that vents oil with filter and transmission with the small hose. Good eye though!
@@DoubleDMotoI was just about to ask why yours doesn’t have the original hose from the factory unit. I feel more comfortable ordering the updated version now, I was concerned looking at yours like it was a OEM replacement with no additional venting. Thanks for your reply’s
@@Streetbob_Nomadhopefully soon I will get one and put out a video explaining the differences.
So my question is does this do the same thing the trask product does?
This one doesn’t it is the same as the factory. The new one they sell does, I will be installing it very soon and posting a video.
@@DoubleDMoto my bad I was referring to the upgraded version. However they say that there is no check valve on the upgraded version like the trask unit has. Does that mean it doesn’t function the same?
@@mikegil262 I will have to double check when the new version arrives but if no check valve it will not be the same. However you can buy a decent check valve cheap making it the same function as the trask. I would like to do a comparison of both of them to show the differences. The quality of the Nicecnc products are very good.
@@DoubleDMoto hey thanks for the responses brother very much appreciated. Pardon my ignorance but if I did purchase a check valve (no idea what that is but will look it up lol) where on the cover would it be installed? Can you tell me if I need a one way or 2 way check valve?
@@mikegil262 it would go in line with the hose to the filter. Here is a good one:

👍👍
Pretty sure that is not the correct placement of where the vent should be. That isn't even the trans cavity area.
The factory vent for the transmission is in the middle cavity. This does the same exact thing except vents thru the top not out the front.
@@DoubleDMoto My bad. I thought this was like the Trask M8 Vent. czcams.com/video/Nl-TEycciM8/video.html
Unfortunately it is not but I would like to compare them up close and possibly put out a video showing the difference.
How has it been holding with your bike? Any problems sense you've posted this video?
@@MrQuandow no problems or issues, it does what it says it does.
Brought 1 of these from the maker.Didn't come with any glass in the viewing area,no check valve as in 1way valve ,so it holds the vaccum and the design for "crank case "venting is not correct.Opinion ... waste of time and money. Buy a Trask one!!
This version only vents the transmission side. It is the exact same thing as the factory one just looks better. They do have a newer model that is the same as the trask, I will be testing it out very soon. As for the glass that is strange, assembly line issues. They would definitely replace it for you I’m sure.
@@DoubleDMoto still waiting bro!
yikes.
They sent me this one and asked me to make an install video. Also getting sent the newest version which is the closest one to yours. Would love to do a comparison video between the three?
the logo needs to go. its looks pretty lame. at least have a cooler name
I can understand, I honestly don’t even notice it anymore.
