• Larry David Reveals Hi... - Zábava
I like how most part of Larry's humor is just he speaking his mind, dude's not even trying to be funny
J.J Jameson thats most succesful comedians actually. They are just naturally funny people, they dont have to try to be funny.
If you watch Larry and Jerry talking on Jerry's show (or Larry's show in Season 7,) you really start to see where "Seinfeld" came from. Their natural conversations are inherently hilarious.
J.J Jameson That is some of the best humor out there
Exactly, just a funny guy
similar to karl pilkington, but more intelligent
" Youre allowed to be happy, just not in-front of me"
Matthew Champlain and have no light in his room?.. pdas should be personal.. nobody needs to see that
Cheer down😂
Yeah we saw the clip too mate.
what every guy that's solo thinks when he sees a couple..true story xD
Wow excellent observation. I never Inna million and ten years copped that. You should be a writer for Larry the old basterd.
Larry never has to act in curb
Jens9807 Well he's no Liam Neeson
Daniel Lee the point he's making is this is how he really is in real life, no acting needed that's why it's such a successful show.
Yeah it was just a joke. I mean of course he acts but I mean that his character is not far from his real self lol
The show does have exact lines. They improv and the actors come up with their own remarks and responses and they have multiple takes and cut out any of the bad lines and keep the good improvised lines.
and...yet..he's a great comedian actor..just effortless for him
Larry has used "I don't see how any of that is your business" a few times over the years. He always lands it. Brilliant.
The man is a comedy legend.
And he’s so sincere about it.
Larry made curb and has proven he doesn't need jerry or anyone to prove his genius.
This man is a national treasure!
yeah so?
haha yeah so, ofc he comes from a genetic lineage of intellectually capable people.
International treasure
He really is. And i’m not even american.
Im 21. Im losing my hair. Larry is my hero.
Joseph Barnhurst I'm 28 and losing my hair. I still have alot of hair but thank you fo being brave☺.
I wish I was 21 and losing my hair. Started losing it when I was 16. Now I'm 27 and have as Larry David would call it a "Full Dome"
Im 17. Im losing my hair. Larry is MY hero.
i'm 11 and i'm already losing my hair , people already think i'm a 34 year old man my mom says it's a sign of puberty xd
I'm 7 and I'm already starting to lose my hair. Larry is a true hero of mine.
Pretty Pretty Pretty good
Beadwindow07 cool man
Lmao
When I was in high school in 2005 a new friend told me I should watch dvds of a show called 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' because I was just like the main character. I didn't watch the show till 2011 and I consider it the best compliment I have ever received in my life!
Same here! He also exactly like my dad both looks and personality. My dad passed away last year now whenever I see Larry I also remember my dad.
lol yeah, it’s not a compliment 😂
That is an awesome compliment
Larry's 'eh' is the best 'eh' in the world XD
He's a great 'eh'er
Pretty pretty pretty pretty, pretty good
For the first time, Larry is starting to look older and it makes me a little sad. Hoping he lives forever...
Meh, he looks great for being 70. He's sharp as a tack and probably will be for a long time!
John DiMaggio he’s 70?? He looks 50 aside from the hair
@@AxeIRad I swear, the cynical humor is what keeps him young. Look at Jerry as well. Although I think David has looked old all his life, he looks good now that he's ACTUALLY old haha
@@hasselett im pretty sure its the massive wealth keeping them young
@@rf10is its actually his diet. He is insanely strict in what he eats and never overeats.
He is a genius , a living legend
There is so much of Costanza the way Larry talks. It is as if I am watching a Seinfeld rerun !
I'd say the four main characters of Seinfeld all possess elements of Larry's personality... and many of the side characters too. But yeah, especially George.
Yeah, either from him or some wacky neighbor he once knew lol
George is based on Larry
Or verse vicea.
This interview makes me so excited that Curb Your Enthusiasm is back.
I just love the way Larry sees things. 😊
Larry is a hero for all the anti-social types and misanthropes around the world!!
Beadwindow: your way of thinking is why we haven't been able so far to get along in a diverse society. I come from western Europe where everybody hated the Germans 70 years ago. Now we are all friends. Horrific things have happen throughout human history and we are all the results of this history, good and bad. We all benefit from what happened in the past, 100, 500, 1000 or 2000 years ago, and it wasn't always good. Don't blame someone for what their ancestors did. By the way, your phone, your computer, your clothes, your food are produced by people who probably have a worst way of life than you. They sometimes are exploited by their employers or their government. Don't think you are such an angel that you can lecture everybody else.
+TheMovieMyLife I'm very excited. However, whilst I'm a huge fan of Curb, do you not miss the old visual style of the series? As in what I loved about Curb was its realistic/fly-on-the-wall/voyeuristic/cinéma-vérité look. They used to use a high frame rate, behind-the-scenes style camera (with rather simple editing) so it made it look real, however in the last few seasons, they've been using a really polished, high-end camera, with more complex editing. I miss the more immersive amateur feel of the previous seasons whereas now it looks like a highly polished advert or something. The storylines and jokes seem to be getting more out there and outlandish and less "natural" than those of the the older seasons too. Don't get me wrong, I still have enjoyed the last few seasons, I just prefer the look of the older ones. Thoughts?
You didn't curb your enthusiasm!
wow... but you ARE an idiot... you can hang your hat on that...
He should write a book; How I accepted my baldness
Esmeralda Rivas he kept the same stage of baldness for 25 years straight
Esmeralda Rivas or Balding without balding
Hahaha
I'd give it to my dad 😂
It's called not having insecurities. Something you probably don't know about.
Larry David should have his voice trademarked. That and possibly copyrighted as well. There is absolutely nothing like it. It just oozes with cranky hilarity.
Bernie Sanders would be getting Copyright strikes daily.
Ashley Williams Larry portrayed Bernie on SNL one time. Perfect casting.
Kevin Gonzalez agreed. He sounds SCARILY like Jerry. When their voice pitches, they’re damned near identical. Seinfeld fans picked it up immediately upon watching the first season of Curb.
@@Th3Birdman At this point I feel like Jerry actually got that from Larry. And used it for his character on the show which he eventually became known for himself.
"My best quality is that I'm a great person to break up with."
That kind of made me feel sad for the guy.
I wanna be with Larry just so I can break up with him.
No homo
"Fantastic."
He is exactly who he is on curb....so happy he's back
HELLOOOOOOO im glad hes back also
He’s not like that in real life he’s said that several times that he wishes he could be like his curb character
@@christopherbarnes2579 he’s like that in real life…..I’ve seen him many times in person…..he’s like that in real life
@@whazzupio I’ve seen him as well several times he’s literally said he wish he could be like curb Larry because in real life he has to be more polite. And I’ll quote one of the times he’s said it, They think that I’m not nice,” explains the Curb Your Enthusiasm star at the show’s Season 9 premiere. “But I am nice, which makes me sick! I wish I wasn’t.”
Curb Your Enthusiasm is by far one of the best shows, ever. I’ve never laughed as hard...especially the pube stuck in the throat episode. 🤣
it's long ball larry
Lol big prick larry
who the hell is this guy, he's prettty prettty prettty funny
Comedian, notably known for being one of the writers on Seinfeld. The character 'George Costanza' is literally based on Larry. He also is known for his tv series Curb your enthusiasm.
crispinfrancis1 woosh
crispinfrancis1 woosh
@@crispinfrancis1 it was a joke, dumbass
Damn old bastard is good. This interview could very well have been an episode.
Un Usuario "Jewish people."
*Audience loses their minds*
Plot twist it actually kinda is...
Art Vandely Wait, it is? I haven't seen the newest seasons.
Be Imma ohhh my friend you are in for a little surprise then
Art Vandely I love these kinds of episodes. For example in Sunny when they go on the show Family Fight. Somehow it's way funnier watching these characters in these big, TV appearances just being themselves.
Larry getting asked a personal question: (answers the question)
Larry getting asked a basic question about his career: *"I don't see how that's any of your business. Don't probe."*
Its so nice to see Larry David happy and talking and saying whatever comes to mind at a stage of life when people can become negative and pessimistic as they age and think the best years are behind them. An inspiration and counterbalance to ageism and a person who improves the world by being alive and being himself!
Larry David: "Jewish people..."
Audience: *laughs
I was dying at that part too, the way he says is funny
larry is the reason why Seinfelds kids, grandkids, great grandkids..etc etc are set for life...
@@niamhcampbell5437 Maybe, but Jerry Seinfeld is also the reason why we even know who Larry is, and why Larry is also set. They helped eachother.
Is it weird that as a 32 year old I have a humongous crush on Larry?!! Everything about him is genius and he is just so sooo funny! And that voice omg !!!
When Larry mentions he’s not a good hospital visitor, he then says the exact same thing George Constanza said once in a old episode - “because I cant hide the pity”
I mean, EXACTLY word for word
One of the most energetic, open and *enthusiastic* talk show guests, few and far between. So effortlessly funny. Long live Larry.
I started watching Curb only 2 weeks ago!!! Why didn’t anybody tell me how brilliant Larry David is?!! Omg i love him & his insanely amazing humor-bravo Larry David! You make the world a better place 💕🤩
Welcome to the club. Larry is the best.
Forever young because of his mind and attitude. He has an enthusiasm masked by auto-irony and sarcasm, just for comedic effect. But he's happy and positive, actually. I wish he was my friend or relative.
larry is the reason why Seinfelds kids, grandkids, great grandkids..etc etc are set for life...
Bert Bert I agree. He’s funnier than Seinfeld. Seinfeld is more of a businessman.
Jerry and Larry are the reason for their success
Jerry was show runner for the last 2 seasons
Totally Okay Productions ...and you can tell.
@@VivKittie32 Seinfeld was a very successful stand-up comedian before the TV show.
He is also the reason the show existed (basically NBC asked Seinfeld to make a show).
Larry David tagged along since he was Seinfeld's comedian friend who had a bit of writing experience.
You're allowed to be happy, just not in front of me....
Classic
Larry David in 60 frames per second. I feel so alive.
This man has a voice and mannerism that's just so honest and hilarious. he's my idol
this guy is a comedic genius
The world needs Larry
Best Quality: He's Larry David
Worst Quality: He's Larry David.
bernie-brah
He's so likable and personable.I hope I have still have a great sense of humor at his age. This man is a comic genius.
He's freaking hilarious, and he's actually a really handsome man. Never noticed that before.
The real-life George Costanza, everyone.
literal George Costanza quote in there, ''I can't visit people in hospitals. I can't hide my pity'' lol
George was a bad visitor in hospitals too in Seinfeld, my goodness the genius of this man
Larry is my dream man.
I bumped into Jeff Garland the other day and told him I couldn't wait until October 1st. It's been a rough year and we REALLY need some Curb to cheer us up.
He's so much more likeable than Jerry.
Jerry can go to hell with his smug self
Truly
Jerry acts like he is the genius behind Seinfeld 😂 dude I can't stand Jerry. Larry is the best.
1,000%. Seinfeld takes way too much credit for his show. We all know Larry was the genius behind it. You can see in the reruns, the show went way downhill after Larry left.
I love how in the show Larry always nods to other bald guys like 'Hey brother, what's up'
Wow haven't seen his show in forever. Can't wait!
I greatly appreciate the long clips.
He is SOOO good. This audience doesn't deserve him!
"Larry, you're more comfortable with the dead than the living." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why do you say something like that😂
Jimmy: "Will you watch wild animals with me?"
Larry: "Alright!"
Narrator: "he didn't."
i like how thoroughly he prepared for this....feeling the pressure to be affable and entertaining (just like that time in the show when he was auctioned off for a dinner)
After I started watching Curb, I realized how much like Larry I am. He just says what everyone is thinking without caring. He’s like Meursault from The Stranger.
His hatred of PDA is something I genuinely share and it reminds me of my grandma.
I love this guy ! His show is everything !!
Loved him from 1st season of Curb your enthusiasm. This guy is bloody funny!!!! Love his style of humor.
*Creates Seinfeld
"I'm not proud of myself for a lot of things."
Larry David needs to have his voice as an alarm clock, a ringtone, hell even as a voice as the gps voice on my phone, I would pay a lot for all of it
The best part is that I constantly hear that in real life he's just like the character on the show XD
*** LARRY DAVID FOR PREZ IN 2020 ***
Larry's 'easy breakup guy' is reminiscent of the Seinfeld ep 'The Opposite'. George spikes, Elaine plummets and Jerry is Even Steven.
LD is my spirit animal 😂😂
I'm a simple man... I see Larry David, I click. Pretty, pretty, good.
This could have been an excerpt from an episode of Curb and you'd never know. That's awesome!
he never loses his charisma. love this guy
I believe in candor... Larry's frankness is wonderful. I really like him.
I'm a simple person I see Larry David I clic and give like.
He is hilarious. One of my favorite comics
When he does his Bernie Sanders, he pretty much has to change nothing. Lol.,
the opening to this makes me EXTREMELY HAPPY that curb does not have a laugh track
My idol!! I love Larry!! Honestly if I could meet one person (whether celebrity, politician, pope, anyone) I would choose Larry David. That's how much this man means to me. I hope to be a brilliant writer just like him. I try!
He's totally right. Who likes watching ppl making out? Creeps? C'mon!
40 seconds in and I'm so glad this show is back
Absolutely love this man. May he live forever in good health 🙏
larry david as himself in curb, talks about himself on kimmel, this is good enough for me
This guy is so great. He's responsible for a whole genre of comedy in tv
Just watched a video about Larry filming in LA a dodgers game hats off to you Larry for helping save a man from prison not only are you an incredible talented person you became a true hero that day to a man and his family u are an angel
Larry David has not 'worst' qualities... He's everything good in the world.
So glad he is back, we missed you, Larry!
I love how the little things get to him! TOO FUNNY
he looks way better now I think for some reason
Bensartbin
He has a billion reasons.
It's the pearly white teeth. He has a great orthodontist.
You can't change the hand you're dealt, but you can choose how you play it!
What a guy can watch him all day so relatable for me
Larry will forever be my man crush and spirit animal
I use to love his show!!
Well there is definitely going to be an episode at a hospital and a cemetery in the new season. I can't wait!
I love this man he's awesome
One of my favorite shows ever hands down
I LOVE THIS GUY !!
I agree with Larry D here...I hate watching people “mush it up” in public. Larry D is one of the funniest TV characters ever & CURB is one of the best shows ever!
this guy is my hero, he helps me make it through my working week dealing with my idiot co workers.
Larry David is my hero. He's the hero we deserve and the one we need
I've missed Larry, this is gonna be great
you know this man is a god when Jennifer Lawrence wants to jump his bones
You mean the girl who got started by blowing Harvey Weinstein? LOL
J Shepard which one?
JLaw
@fooloof Really? I haven't been propositioned yet, guess I'm pretty far down in the queue then.
It's a refreshing to see what appears to be an organic conversation with Larry as opposed to the planned bits with comedians that we've come to expect.
late night shows have pre interviews. Podcasts are more organic.
His best quality: he wrote Seinfeld
His worst quality: he is Larry David
Lmfaooo love you, Larry!!
I've never rushed so quickly to watch the next segment after a talk show clip before. Sadly, in "Terrifying Wild Animals with Dave Salmoni", Larry leaves immediately when the animal guy comes out with a mountain lion cub that's kind of going nuts. Woulda been fun to see him react to all the animals. There is a separate quick clip called "Larry David Plays Chess with a Vulture" that's pretty amusing, though.
He’s so hilarious 😆
This is very interesting interview.
A complete Genius at work.
Most honest, truthful guy on earth. Larry D is real.
Love Larry David!!!
What makes Larry David SO funny is that it's not an act.
