This channel deserves way more subscribers and views. I've been watching Zed since the early days when he was trying to find his way (he did it pretty quick!). His channel is a great source of knowledge and entertainment. He's never trying to get the spots on himself, instead, he's allowing us to meet many cool, and talented, people. You're in the same class as Primitive Technology IMHO.
Zed, you're a true gem and you deserve the best. Thanks for your hard work and sharing your passion with all of us.

I'm truly humbled by your kind words and sincerely appreciate your support this entire time, I really mean that. I try to focus on the content and how it can help viewers like yourself, as well as giving light to the many amazing makers that are out there, hence the focus is never about me. Stay blessed my friend and thank you once again ~Peace~

Zed, just an encouragement. You bring us things that no one else does, and somehow for me you hit all the marks of interest. Thank you very much. I am curious if you have an interest in building natural houses, with hand tools? I think you're in the right part of the world for that. Roundhouse construction with round wood, is not covered enough. Would love it if you could consider filming some strawbale, cob, strawslip housing efforts. Mucho gracias, and all that. Cheers mate.

I sincerely appreciate your kind words and it makes me happy to hear you find these types of videos useful. Reg your suggestion of building using natural techniques & methods, I do actually have plans to film videos on those topics in the new year. I run ZedOutdoors in the very little spare time I have outside of my main work, hence it takes me time to get around to covering certain topics. That being said, i do hope to be covering more topics in the coming weeks and months. Appreciate your support, it really means a lot! ~Peace~

I 100% agree with you. Zed is just Amazing! In a perfect world, it'd be just AWESOME to see Zed and Mike (TA Outdoors) to team up and create a Bushcraft school. they're both masters in their respective field(s).

Excellent video and enjoy watching these kinds of video. I will try to get a copy of the book. Here in the US I don't believe we have much Chestnut. Just curious if you have any tree species you'd recommend using here in the US? Thanks again for putting this together.

Hey! Thanks for the interest. You could try using willow bark. It performs the same as chestnut, just not as thick. Also silver birchwould be great. If you can't get tree barks you could try plant fibres. Anything that is flat would work great. Let me know how you get on?

@@NickMcMillen-ef7feI made products from different raw materials, from the bark of spruce, pine and of course from birch, we have this one of the types of folk craft, birch is very good, strong, durable, very beautiful. I made it for myself, spruce and pine bark is very convenient, it is more flexible, durable, once I made a basket in 40 minutes, I had to do it very quickly, I did it literally for a single use, but it still serves, almost 30 years have passed
