- We spent 48 hours on an adventure casting around some remote islands and coastlines. This epic trip left me utterly speechless so many times. A chance at truly world class fish. Fish that some will only have a shot at once in their lifetime. Fishing with my good friends @LandsharkOutdoors and @ScottRoseFishing This is an epic adventure, I hope you all enjoy!

Awesome fishing Team/trip
Thank you are awesome
Your videos are amazing. So well put together. I love watching them. Nice touch by mentioning gear being used.
Good like fishing
you the best fisherman in the world dud
Definitely like the tackle check/ walk through!
Ryan, this video was so awesome man!! What an experience this must have been. Thanks for sharing and still jealous of that topwater rooster chew.
It will be forever seared in my memory. Thank you for watching!
Just watched land shark outdoors vid now watching yours
That's dedication!
Undervalued CZcamsr this man needs to have 100k plus subs

@@RyanMorie Exactly! Keep doing you and you will continue to grow!! Keep up the amazing work my friend.
Super cool video Ryan, loving the water conditions there you guys had some great hook ups there 👏👏
What an unreal trip and experience man, congratulations on some real trophy fish! That's a dream trip for just about any fisherman, but certainly for myself. Great job on the edit as well!
Thanks for watching my guy 🤙🏼🍻
10:02 first time I’ve heard Ryan say that 😂
Haha, you need to listen more closely my friend 🍻🤫
You guys are livin the dream! Looks so fun. 🤙🏽
You asked if we wanted you to continue describing the tackle you're using -- definitely, especially when it's something different. I had never heard of Ocean's Legacy rods before I saw you using them, and I ended up ordering one for myself, their 10-foot "Specialist" to cast for tarpon off the beach and pier. Now that you're traveling and fishing for so many different species in different locations, it's interesting to see what tackle you choose.
Looks fun! Back in the 90's left-handed were scarce. Ambassador 5501 and Penn 4/0 lever drag. Since a lot of strikes are right when the lure lands on the water, I think that switching hands adds an unnecessary step to every cast. Today many reels are available in lefties.
🤠
Ryan this is amazing!! I loved the drone footage also😋
Nice looking place !!😮!! I’m going to check them out and go, looks like a great little place. ThAnKs 🙏
It’s well worth it!
My friend I would like to go on one of those trips with u guys ya do ya thing bless❤️❤️❤️🎣🎣🎣🎣

Awesome video Ryan! Can't wait to see more from this trip! Seeing this level of content really inspires me to keep grinding and building my own channel, to hopefully one day I'll have the means to put out some quality like this. Well done brother and tight lines 💪😎🎣🐟🏝🌊
Thanks for watching and good luck to you 🍻🤙🏼
My heart ❤️ is racing too.

Wow Ryan just got done watching Victor's video and yours popped right up. Great to see you guys completing a bucket list. When you guys catch fish I feel I am there too. Hope to see you guys in Trinidad one day.
That's an awesome compliment, it's one of my goals with the vids to try and make y'all feel like you're on the trip!
Fantastic accomplishment Bro! 👏 stoked for you
Thanks my man 🍻
You should try using some Johnny jigs instead of the mustad slow pitch jigs
I pretty much use everything these days, caught my PB African Pompano on a Johnny Jig. 🤙🏼
Awesome Rooster Ryan !!!!!! Well done.
One of my favorite days of fishing ever! Thank you for watching!
The barred one looks like a schoolmaster
I'm so glad you had this trip, I've always wanted someone to get addicted to slow pitch jigging and popping then pioneer bringing it back to the US, let's see some popping vids in Florida!
Lots of Jack Crevalle incoming hahaha
@@RyanMorie lololol
Booking my one of many trips to Colombia as we speak. Gotta love the Pacific.
Hope you crush em 🍻
That's a fun one with the "Red" Snapper. I had the same issue when I was in Panamá. So... what I found is that in Latin America it's more specifically known as a Crimson Snapper. We weren't sure what it was because we thought it was a Red Snapper because that's what they called it. I did some research, asked more fisherman in the area, and found out that it's a Crimson which seems to be slightly different from an American Red Snapper; but I couldn't find anything definitive to say that there is, in fact, a difference.
Awesome bro
Sick!!! 🔥
Great video!
Thanks for watching!
For us,,,,Maldivian jigging 🎣 Fishermen the climate in this video is simply a dream for all of us.
Raining 🌧 season in Maldives 🇲🇻 is the best for fishing, but the rough weather won't allow us.
Bonito is good only within 1 hour after catching.
Why are the bonitos good only 1 hour after catching? Even gutting and putting them on ice?
@@extratenshi See my friend, in Maldives 🇲🇻 we don't immediately gut and put them on ice....but sometimes during jigging we put them on ice withou gutting which we buy on the way (Because we aren't used to that way traditionally)we just leave them to die on deck or in a compartment without ice.And the other issue is we don't have enough money to put inbuilt ice manufacturing systems.
Most of us have Zenac,Saltiga rods and high class Japanese reels (certate,saltiga,stradic...etc)even though 95-98% of all modern speed 🚤 boats are small and its under 30-40k US Dollars 💵.
Actually Bonito is a tasty quality fish if properly preserved in a freezing condition.
Sometimes we cook bonito when its still having pulse and its extremely delicious with rice cooked with 🥥 coconut milk.
Please 🙏 try this way once and I'm pretty sure you will understand why I say this.
😊 Thanks
Awesome video man🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thanks foe=r watching!
Sick video! One tip though: I'm pretty sure you were usin' a snap swivel on the popper, please stop with that, use a swivel and a split ring instead, I have seen too many snaps pulled open by the lure in an unfortunate angle, seein' a pricy lure fly off, but even worse, when a fish with powerful jaws hits, it can open the snap, even crush Light to medium split rings, heavy wire splitties are the only save way for warm saltwater fish
Spotted or school mackerel bru. Ain't no Spanish. Ain't nuthin better than adventuring with the lads. Team work but not competing....life's already competitive dont need it on a bonding, happy times, all love & connecting trip ...
In my Maldives 🇲🇻 ♥️ Rooster 🐓 fish is so rare that even I myself caught just one,in my entire 20 years 😳 of fishing and I caught a 5kg in jigging, just before a week ago (7 July 2022)
Boy I am so lucky 😍 💓.
That’s awesome! Congratulations 🍻
Hi Ryan, great fishing trip. Just wondering how long of a leader do you use on the popper casting set up?
Needle fish is so abundant in Maldivian channels that during night time it throws itself like the thousand nation Persian empire arrow 🏹 rows in their hardest battles, and on some occasions Maldivian Fishermen and divers have died in such dangerous incidents but only during night.
So during all night dives you should be really careful, when you're ascending last minute to abort the dive.
You're information will surely help us.Thanks 😉 a lot.
I'd love take ya guys fishing here in Australia ya guys get railed hard on big big fish hit me up when keen great video
This Mr i fishig in Panamá since 2013 and i wen ther six times and this big popper is not good to Panamá The best popper to sue in Panamá is Halco it is easy to work and very efective, Sasshimi bait is very good this year in june i take a yellow tuna more than 160 pounds with you zuri sashimi!
Hey Ryan my dad said if I buy all the lures and rods I need he would take me and my grandpa could you link the lures that you were using ?
do you have a good company to grab travel cases for rods from. Im trying to decide if I want to fish here or tropic star.. tufff choice we are going for roosters and cuber
Victor hit it on the head...poppin for Cabs in 100ft of water...mmmm nuh. I like your video's bru big time, not like me I like my shit but don't live near the water. Victor's teachin bruv....listen.! Don't get me wrong your a cool cat bruzzy...but like me,we're not on the water EVERYDAY..or grew up next to or close. Im pretty knowledgeable but being on it everyday...massive game changer. Ive read alot & watched alot but too experience....properly big BIG stuff..f scary.
Keep it up mate your killin it..👍🏼🤙🏽🙏🏽
9:40 take the clip off go straight split ring and swivel
You really should use bkk hooks on your lures, like the raptor gt trebbles for the big poppers and stickbaits or the diabolo singles, the chances of bending those hooks is way lower.
BKK raptors are some of the worst hooks we've ever seen in 15 years of being the only 100% popping and jigging operation of the Americas....
What reel was the left handed one you were using Ryan?
👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video!!!!
Love all your videos👌
What brand is the snap swivel you are using???
Not really a snap swivel, we attached Spro power clips to heavy duty ball bearing swivels so we could change lures quickly. Typically they fish a split ring there
@@RyanMorie Ah ok i understand
Thanks 👍🏻
Really like to watch your videos 🤩
still waiting for you to go fishing in queensland australia for gt fishing
On the list! I'd love to one day!
@@RyanMorie Hahah yeah i remember a friend of mine caught a giant gt off turtle rock in western australia but queensland is better for GT
Epic trip.
I can't wait for the next one!
Ryan, what's are the expenses on this trip? I want to head out there in the next couple months.
Get in contact with the staff, they’re super accommodating, their website is linked in the description 🤙🏼
awesome video bro! what mount is that for the GoPro on your hat?
It’s just the mount off an old action hat. I’ve used the same mount on like 10 different hats at this point haha
@@RyanMorie hahahahah I'm about to get to that point too lol
18:27 what was the lure you used?
What’s the name of that big popper?
Gotta set the hook cuz...rookie mistake. I'd prob forget too cause of the dumb rush from the hit. sorry i do sound super critical. Maybe cause I like ya..! content & shit wise i mean.
Keep doing the 'DO' legend...cause sittin here watchin you's ain't I'm keen as for a flick .👍🏼👍🏼🙌
Vsx 150 or 200 for all application ? Throwing artificial 95% of the time land based big snook big tarpon
VSX200 by a million. Only betas throw a 150 as their primary setup 😉
Kakakaka
The only gripe I have with this reel is the weight, but that goes with the size of the reel czcams.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I brought this salmon fishing up in Oswego, NY. I coupled it with a Cabela's Whuppin Stick. I had no problem pulling in a 14lb salmon. I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.
Throw a nlbn
He said Boys and Girls ( "Victor" ) ouch 🤷♂️ LOL
Do you guys know any good who can teach me? ( Victor, I know this guy landshark") Nah that guy sucks! 🤷♂️ LOL
Bunch of stupid fisherman 🤷♂️ LOL ( "Victor, Why are you insulting us already") Ryan says... ("YOU") LMFAO
what a way to start a trip
Was the popper, that you used to catch that jack, a fcl labo 150f popper.
I’m pretty sure yes
FCL Labo yes. Can't remember the size but it was around 5.5 inches long
Looks so.
EBI SC 150 - the best small popper ever !
@@panafishingtv3294 have you ever used the 190, if so how is it because I have plenty of 5-6in poppers but want to start using bigger ones and was thinking of getting the 190mm size
Ryan, got a message saying I am winner from you. Please confirm if this is correct brother. Thanknyou
Nope, not me!
@@RyanMorie scammers brother. Thanks for the clarification
the only guy who needed to tranquilo was the captain... I know fishing can be dangerous with the hooks on the ground and everything but he was over reacting a lil
