The screaming man was the icing on the horror cake.
It sounded like night terrors. My dad gets these weird ass nightmares and he sounds exactly like that. This weird drunk sleepy sounding yelling.

at 20:12 I hear that kind of yelling on a daily basis. The person below me does that every night, sometines for more than an hour, usually starting at 6 AM. This is what happens in a nursing home for the elderly. I happen to reside there as well because I am palliative with a high risk situation concerning comorbidities.

I'm sorry but u two should have either called 911 or stopped at the office to let someone know because that gentleman was screaming for HELP! Stop being afraid of the cops when ur out filming, all u have to tell them is ur a CZcams CHANNEL that does documentaries on old hotel/motel building contents and they'll leave u alone, they r well aware that us creators r out there filming contents. Also, u really shouldn't drive slow like that at night in certain areas bcuz if ur not careful ur gonna get shot at or jumped, and last u do know that being out there filming contents UR in the category of being a journalist which means if there's something suspicious or sounds like someone needs HELP it makes u obligated to seek assistance for them like calling 911 or let someone aware of the situation for the simple fact u obtained documentation of the situation by filming it, that's considered evidence, and with u leaving like u did u can actually get into trouble for it. If u don't believe me, ask an officer or a lawyer they'll tell u the same thing. Thought I would bring this to ur attention before it does catch up to u. Other than that ur content locations r purity interesting and intriguing. 😉☺️

Thanks for this! When you said you were exploring along 40 my heart leapt, then sank when I realized this video was only 3 weeks old. I was hoping you'd had the chance to visit one that's been torn down in the past year:
Less than half a mile east of that Deluxe Inn, on the opposite side of the street, there was until pretty recently a large old metal MOTEL sign next to a little abandoned drive-thru coffee hut in a big empty lot that still functions as the world's saddest Greyhound stop. I'd passed it many times and assumed that whatever motel the sign used to draw drivers to was long gone. Turns out it was just well off the road, behind the treeline, but accessible from just around the corner on Maloney Rd.
Looking at it on street view it looked way older than anything else around...30s or 40s. Also in street view images from a year ago you can see they literally lopped the corner of the building off to make way for a new turn lane off Maloney, so it's days were obviously numbered.
I tried to learn anything about the place but I still don't even know what it was called, and now it and the sign are both gone. All I could really learn is that the whole lot was recently annexed into Elkton and will soon be home to a 7-11.
If you haven't already (I probably will stumble across your video about it as soon as I send this) do come further along 40 into DE and check out some more old motels. There's at least 8 I've noticed just between the MD state line and the Wilmington Airport. Highlights include the Fairwinds Motel in Bear, which is officially abandoned but still sports a very large warning sign on the front of the building from the Delaware Department of Justice about monitoring for illegal activity. Read the top review for it, it's bonkers. Then there's the former Motel Glasgow (in Glasgow) which still has a really cool old sign in front of a little Mexican grocery store that I assume was once the motel office. Also check the Hollywood Motel in New Castle which actually seems to be doing fine and still has a neat old HBO sign out front under the motel sign.

That's awesome that you can do that (custom mailing, etc,) at your post office. We have 2 here - one an "official" one with properly paid uniformed folks doing their USPS jobs, the other is a contract station. The people don't get benefits other than hourly pay - no pension, yet they are 1000% busier than the official one! Would love to have a decent, full-service USPS location here!
