Binge Society brings you the best scenes of your favorite movies! - Zábava
Among everything else, I also appreciate the subtle comedy of just how LONG she spends falling down those damn stairs. Like, despite falling really quickly, it still takes easily twice as long as it should. XD
A lot of subtle comedy, like how the guy didn't quite know what to do with her because every piece was pointing a different way lol
Not going to mention standing at a 45 degree angle for 2 minutes?
It's the quaaludes
@@reimuhakurei3311 Oh boy I just rewatched that it is good comedy 😂
I was hoping he'd fall instead
I love how he considered helping her before she called him a wimp and then he pushed her using his finger lol. I love this film
Tag that moment, I was thinking of that clip from _The Dark Knight_ when The Joker says “Wrong.. choice.. of words.”
@@rogue7723 "Very poor choice of words"
I know right 😂
She does this again later in the film Ernest legitimately considers drinking the potion to save himself but Madeline insults him to make him hurry up which snaps him back to reality and reminds him he’d rather die than spend another minute with Madeline
How ironic 😅
As someone who went through a decent amount of emotional abuse, I can testify to the temptation of finally having enough.
Not you making this about yourself.
True testimant
that was the most agonizing tumble down a flight of stairs that i've ever seen :S
Thats because it was about 4 tumbles down a flight of stairs! lol
Oh my goodness, I was thinking the same thing, lol!
The asmr tho 🤣
The longest too
Maybe Ivana Trump went through the same
Showing a 12 second fall down the stairs, as part of a murder crime, including a broken neck etc. etc., but muting the word 'bitch'. LOL
This comment IS gold
@@crowdednuggets1871 Quoting the character of Madeline from the end of the movie: "blah blah blah blah blah."
Following that logic all words with "bad" intent would need to be muted, whatever they actually mean. What about swearwords that were spoken in a friendly, loving voice? Of course it is about the word "bitch" itself.
@@crowdednuggets1871 oh be quiet you really are just a little blubbering baby
Binge is a Christian man..my brother 😉
@@aworysse in World of Warcraft there was a dialogue where Sylvanas was called a "b*tch" by the orc warchief who despised her and her undead race. It existed for many years and I also loved this line despite being a woman and a fierce Sylvanas' simp myself. And this word was recently cut out, because, apparently, all women are privileged saint creatures now? Idk, this is madness to me. Also, RIP fishing vendor Master Baiter, you'll forever be missed.
*”You and your body are going to be together for a very long time. Be good to it.”* 😂
Who said this first?
I've noticed that Bruce's character is actually a big softie. Here at the top of the stairs, he was about to save her when she acted all scared, but the second she snapped at him, he changes his mind. The same thing happened when Helen and Madeline tried to convince him to drink the potion when he was hanging off the ceiling. He was about to drink the potion due to their begging, but then Madeline yells, "YOU HAVE TO," and he changes his mind.
That's always what fascinated me about him. He was so weak, but strong at the same time. Easily convinced but when you got aggressive with him he'd stand up for himself.
@@quadryjohnson2099 attempting to murder your wife isnt strong its wierd

Good point
When I was a kid, my grandparents were watching this movie, and I remember I walked into the living room to ask them something and saw this scene. It's the only context I had, and I remembered it for years and years. Glad that I finally found out what it's from so I could re-watch it and finally satisfy that Curiosity that I have had ever since childhood LOL
Must've been a trippy experience Lol
That is so bloody weird. Because i too saw this scene at my grandparents house and that was all i saw. i spent years thinking what the hell was going on and just last year found this film😂
What's crazy is that same thing happened too me. It was my parents though instead of my grandparents. For years I wondered what this movie was called and I chanced upon it one day on CZcams. Can't believe I wondered for so many years for this C rank movie.
Okay.. wtf .. I also walked in on my grandparents watching this scene. I was staying over their house for the summer with my family as our house was getting renovated. I walked in and saw this and it scared me - that’s why I remembered it so long. I was curious for years and here we are … so weird.
This happened to me a lot as a kid before I realized movies weren’t real.
When a character from family guy falls down the stairs, that's how they look at the bottom.
And then hold his shin..."awwwwwwwww..... shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... aaaawwwwwwww "
I instantly thought of Family guy, ahahhahaha
I can see Peter when I read this 💀
Don't soiul this moment by mentioning that shit cartoon
Hey Brian, I made a water slide in the house! 🤣
His character is a great example of ' don't take someone's kindness for granted. '
I love how slowly gravity seems to be working in that scene🤣🤣🤣
That is the most dramatic fall down the stairs I've ever seen.
Meryl Streep, ladies and gentleman. The woman could dramatize a medication ingredient label.
Clearly you haven't seen any indian soap operas nor telenovelas
@@ruuoxi I’m Hispanic so definitely have seen my share of telenovelas. They usually do those in slow motion from what I recall. This was just….super long and from a million angles lol.
@@angelmax404 Dont forget that many of those takes zoom at the characters faces as they watch the fall. And, even with a hundred witnesses, Bruce would still get away with it saying things like "she tripped and fell" or "she did on purpose, to frame me"
That praise should go to the stunt person because it certainly wasn't Meryl Streep who did that tumble down the stairs.
@@gothamgoon4237 The stunt double was Denise Lynne Roberts (1961-2003). She died of cancer. RIP.
This is so terrifyingly addictive

One of the most underrated movies ever.
Absolutely correct
Right!.. .haven't seen it in years and now im already planning to rent it soon❤
Yep kinda intensely something or other isn't it. Je ne cais quoi. Or that um I can't quite put my finger in it.
Love how her tone changes.."hurry up you wimp!!"
This scene never lets me down. Always gives me a good laugh
yeah and this scene just goes to show the drawbacks to drinking an immortality potion and then killing yourself🤣🤣🤣
Meryl Streep is amazing and this scene is hilarious 🤣
I know, very comical 😅
You PUSHED me down the stairs...
I must correct…. It’s staairzzzzzzz. I’ve pronounced it that way ever since this movie. 😂
Lmao
A lot of marriages are like this. My parents were like this. My dad hated arguing, but my Mom has a way of pushing people's buttons.
God I wish Willis did more comedies. Love this movie!!
If only she hadn't chosen that moment to emasculate him
We must think before we speak, lol.
😀😀
True
Yeah but honestly he aggravated me too. Like what’s TAKING so long?!
@@MyraBrazil94 as if that wasn't necessary
Guess she fell for him all over again...

And broke into pieces like the last scene.

AHHHHHH😂😂😂😂🤣
Back when Bruce Willis did comedy
Back when Bruce Willis still had self-esteem.
He is just as bored as de Niro.
@@DanielLopez-zt4ig The last time de Niro didn't look bored was in Stardust.
Me, I just know now. I always known him from his action movie.
And he's no longer a B actor.
I loved this film as a kid. the whole concept of cheating death and being able to survive most things fueled my curious wonder. think I was a bit of a dark minded kid now that I think about it but that never stopped me from being a caring kid woth a smile all the time.
100% relatable 😂 I think this movie made us all think about the concept of cheating death, especially as kids!!
🙂
For me, rewatching this movie is a reminder that even if you care and might've hoped things were different, sometimes you need to know when to call it quits on friendships and relationships.
God this movie is a masterpiece, please don't remake it 😭
One of the most different roles from Bruce Willis. I liked him in this dark comedy. Nice movie
This, the sixth sense & moonrise kingdom are actually the most underrated and different roles by him.
My favorite part of this scene is when she comes up behind him while on the phone and he holds up his hand like "just a sec..." LMAO
As a kid that’s scare the crap outta me XD
Yeah same here. I saw it at the cinema and was terrified.
"Hurry up you Whimp" ---points finger of death tumble🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Goldie’s T-shirt says, JUST DO IT😂
I really like the cartoony yells of 90s horror comedies
Great Movie! Perfect Casting, Perfect Performances and movie magic by everyone! I love the Movies!
I was especially interested in this film because of the lengths to which the lead characters were willing to go to preserve their youth. Which is why the last sequences of the film were hilarious! One of the great CGI movies of the early 90's. Plus it has Meryl AND Goldie!!
They way her neck cracked omg
fr im hurting
Cringed so badly about all the neck pains I've had
Bruce Willis is an amazing actor. He doesn't get enough credit for his versatility.
I was like damn what's taking the fall so long 🤣😂
Edit: they showed that body from every angle 😂
I know right 😂
Kodus to Meryl’s double for tumbling down the stairs 🙌🏻🙌🏻
The part where she was getting up and walking towards him in the backgroud ,while he was on the phone scared the living shit out of me as a kid
One of my favourite movies growing up.
He walked down them stairs faster than she fell boooyyy 🤣🤣😭😭😭💀💀💀
30 yrs of this masterpiece

FLAAAACID 😂 As a 90s kid this movie still holds a special place in my heart even though Madeleine peeling her crumpled self off the floor in the background used to scare the crap out of me 😂
I was a teenager in the 90s too so 90s kid
that was the longest stair fall i've ever seen lol
Try July 14th 2022 in nyc. A rather prestigious, yet highly comical fall 🤣
I love the helpless "Help me" followed by her deep impatient " Hurry up ya Wimp" 😂😂😂😂
When she fell down the stairs I literally laughed and said oh shit she'll feel that in the morning, lmao think she feels it now
Bruce Willis's best role
Die hard?
This movie is hilariously unique
The stunt double of Meryl Streep in this movie was Denise Lynne Roberts (1961-2003). She died of cancer. RIP.
Willis is great here, superb acting.
Well he’s no Robin Williams
I couldn’t help but say “My ears burn!”
Madeline: chill bro its a prank the camera is right there
ultimate bruh moment right there when she can just magically balance like that on the side of the top step lool
Wow memorable scene from a classic film. It was like nostalgia from ironic sweet retribution 🤣
She was saying the most monstrous things and she's death!
Lol 😂😂😂😂
This movie is so iconic.
Thats one of the most agonizing, delirious, head spinning, and scary ways to die....falling down a flight of spiral staircases...can I say....ouch....cool that they made this a dark comedy though! Timeless classic! 😂
even without the edit the stair falling scene is still unintentionally funny 😭
best 3 actors together ❤️❤️❤️
Best acting of both the actors, Wills and streep
Outstretched hand becomes THE finger... Priceless.
When you're in a vulnerable position, don't mouth off to the person you depend on.
Lmao!!😅
We need more movies like this.
There’s gonna be those parents that will say “Kids, this is why you try to pop your neck, or else you will end up like this lady.” to their kiddos. 💀

Such a great flick
Loving Helen’s Nike shirt.
When her neck hits the step, the snap! 🤣
What a freaking crazy movie that was. Especially it was a mannequin that went flying down the staircase. Love the special effects by the makeup artists. Meryl and Goldie were terrific 👏 👌 👍 😀 😊 ❤.
Too bad it wasn't Meryl herself😄
The stunt double was Denise Lynn Roberts and she, in fact, tumbled down those stairs lol.
No way it could've been a mannequin as they are plastic
I love this movie
I know, a timeless classic 👍
Meryl Streep is always truly beautiful.
This never fails to crack me up .

One of my favorite movie gags: Guys releasing the most girliest scream.
Half the movie’s runtime was Madeline and or Helen tumbling down stairs.
This was an awesome movie. If that's a stunt double - She is a legend! Probably just a mannequin doing the actual fall and tumble sequence. Reminds me of a person always saying "I wanna throw myself down a flight of stairs" when he got angry about missing an event or jonesing.
And to think that Robert Zemickis who directed this movie went from directing this to directing one of the best movies in cinema Forrest Gump
One of my favourite movies ❤
this was an amazing comedy
Iconic.
the fact this is clearly a doll/prop makes this so much more funny
I always feel a little sorry for Bruce Willis when I watch this movie... XD But then I nearly choke to death from laughing so hard, and I forget why... XD
This is actually funny XD
Killed his wife, got away with it, participated in a murder and cover up conspiracy ...then changed his life around and became a respected dude! And they didn't know!
Too common a story in society.
Marla is meeting up with Isabella Rossellini right now for that potion.
😂
what i like about this movie is that it shows that willis has a pretty broad range he can play and is a good actor. not a one trick pony
Die hard, he said. I can't believe how sweet, innocent, weak nerd Bruce Willis was before his strong masculine roles in the cinema.
I love this.. Where can I find this movie. Damn. Time to watch the whole thing.
Note to self never own a place with stairs
I never thought about the parallel between this scene and the ending scene, when it's Madeline pushing Helen down the stairs.
One of my favs
And most funniest ones

I once fell downstairs but with a jump it was much worse and I almost died but some miracle happened bet Jesus was there...
Ummmmmm.....

I slowed it down and it looked like they were using some flexible mannequin.
most hilarious scene ever!!
Incredible film. One of Willis’s Streep’s, Hawn’s, Zemeckis’s best films.
Before Forrest Gump.
This is the funniest scene ever
