Those cars are actually pretty fast when you stay on the gas. I was very surprised, not sure why so many go so slow in them.
@@YvetteB.probably because they get crap mileage when you go fast. Kinda defeats the point of a Prius.

I thought 22 was a popped tire or something with how fast it happened until I saw the car and read the caption. People need to slow down, especially in rain which can affect brake timing
That car was going so fast, if it wasn’t for the description I would have thought the truck dropped an axle. I watched the clip several times and still can’t see a car. Also, cammer described damages to his vehicle but never reported how injured that driver was.
@@annagraham7083 This was I-495 in Wrentham. I found a couple posts about this on X but no other news stories. Someone replied to those posts with a picture of the car and what might be the driver sitting on the side of the road, apparently OK. The upcoming total solar eclipse will definitely bring in some interesting dashcam footage with millions of people traveling to the path of totality. People can’t drive right normally, we’ll see how they drive among thousands of others!😂
The “path of totality” sounds like the slogan I’m going to use for my fake religion I’m creating to scam suckers.
If you are thinking clashes between vehicles will be high, I think you will be VERY disappointed. I was at the last one. When EVERYONE leaves at the same time!!! Traffic will be packed Bumper to bumper and moving so slow for HOURS!!! 20MPH 30 at best, for HOURS! It will NOT be a "normal" drive after the event. Because it is not normal every driver is on alert. If there are any accidents caught on dashcam, it will be slow, uneventful fender bender stuff. I've experienced it with the last eclipse event. Short story.
My brother an I drove 5 hours from Charlottesville VA to a spot in Tennessee to see the last total eclipse some years ago. (Amazing and worth it for me.) Going there was normal travel time for the distance getting there. What we did not expect was the trip back would take 14 HOURS!!!!!!! It did not matter what road you took. That's a HUGE warning to you people going to this one.
Here's the point. I can't remember any pair of vehicles pulled over due to an accident involving contact. There were few pulled over breakdowns, ran out of gas. All the drivers behaved/drove much better than on a typical day.
I've been there.

#1 passenger is lucky he didn’t fall out of car
#17 - if they had tried their brakes as fast as they tried their horn, they might have avoided that accident pretty easily. Did they think the sound waves from their horn would slow them down?
No….they thought the sound of the horn would prompt the driver (who had just pulled out in front of him) to GIVE IT SOME GAS and get the hell out of the way. Cammer could not have stopped in time. More aggressive braking in the rain would have only caused him to slide faster into the inevitable collision.
@@MamaMC4950 Wrong. Source: I've stopped cars in light rain before. Also, "more aggressive braking"? Cammer didn't try any braking at all. Not light braking, not hard braking, nothing. The driver started to pull out so far ahead of the cammer that if they'd been paying attention, it would've been easy to slow down enough to not rear-end the other guy. Don't get me wrong, the other guy was also not paying attention and definitely cut the cammer off, but if you think the cam-car would have slid out of control as if hydroplaning on a puddle or skidding on oil or ice in the 5 seconds between cutoff-car entering sight and impact you're just not analyzing that situation very well at all.

0:10 So while nothing that the cammer did should have triggered the passenger to react that way, they had their signal on and when they tried to get over the cammer sped up to close the distance and then beeped at them b/c the cammer was annoyed they got in front of him.
yea, I don't believe for one second they didn't "gesture" back at all once during that whole clip. Not at all trying to defend the sedan passenger's reaction, that behavior is unjustifiable. But I don't believe the cammer is nearly as innocent as they try to make themselves out to be.
He cut across multiple lanes to make the shortcut to Goose Creek. That on ramp doesn't sneak up on you and d bags do this all the time right there. Just because you have your turn signal on doesn't allow you to do whatever you want. 5:42 Ford Flex driver distracted by phone. In parts of Canada that is around $600 fine. No idea what it is in Louisiana. Also unsafe left turn, causing the accident.
4:00 All that driveway and they decide to back out??
Something I notice in a lot of these videos that people need to learn, when it comes to entering an intersection to make a left-hand turn, either do it or don't! Too many people start rolling forward, but then get scared and just sit there, or keep slowly rolling hoping they'll figure it out in time or something. If you're unsure that you'll have enough time to make the turn, don't move, just stay put and wait until your way is clear. If you do have time, then move it, act like you only have 2 seconds to get through the intersection, even if there is no traffic at all.
Along with that I'll add if making a right turn into traffic get a move on to match the speed of the traffic. The example here is #17 at 5:45.
The phone is more important than driving now, too bad I can't ride motorcycles anymore because no one wants to drive.

Guy at 3:09 your headlights are pointed WAY too high. I mean its not like your headlights are at a 0 degree angle, your headlights are aiming UP as per the projector cut-off line! You gotta get those reaimed. God help all the oncoming drivers that are blinded by the xenon headlights! Still doesn't take away from the red-light-running Audi, just something I noticed.
You're right but I know that guy is using headlights between 500 and 3,000 Candelas so it's legal for drivers to drive with that headlights in the US however headlights above 3,000 Candelas is considered illegal. But I know for sure that guy is using bright headlights because there is no lamp post.

I think the person who did the pit maneuver knew what was going to happen. Other driver was about to cut in front of the truck and slam on their brakes to try to cause a crash. Looked like the other truck was at least halfway in the person's lane as well, if not more.
2. Wow, I’ll bet that long horn sound really taught him a lesson!
Yeah, why. If the other car driver is reasonably normal a shorter honk will give him a wake-upp call. ”Oops I was stupid”, but the long honk from hell is just telling the other car that the cammer is crazy.
