That bus one in the first clip is so awesome. The cut off, the anticipation and the collective cheer when the officer activated his lights.
Especially since the car wasn’t even trying to stay out of the way of the bus…it just drifted across the white markings as if it owned the road.

But, a Cop gets hit doing it, it's a tax payer paid Funeral precession and grievance pay to his family. Anyone else try something like that, you get cited for causing a road hazard. They actually tried to change police procedure in FL after a couple cops died trying to hand stop a fleeing/ speeding automobile. I'm pretty sure it got reversed, too.

Shortly after I got my license I did something similar to that at a 4way stop and nearly had a tbone with a cop. Thankfully, and even more surprisingly, he didn't stop me. Lol I learned my lesson pretty quick.

Saw that all the time on my tours in South Korea. You'll hear a whistle blowing and when you look in that direction there will be a cop pointing. They had checkpoints throughout the country and especially in Seoul. If you don't stop you won't like what happens at the next checkpoint.

@@jonah.donohuethis is NJ, where the left lane is for passing only. The cop is in the wrong; if there is little to no traffic they should be driving in the right lane by default, which lets other drivers pass in the left lane as needed.
And as a NJ resident, I can tell you in a lot of the state you can average like 5-10 mph over the speed limit without any worry of being oulled over. If you're in the left lane going 55 (even 60) in a 55mph zone, other drivers are NOT gonna be happy.

B : Was speeding in excess of 5-10 mph over the limit, especially with how fast he closed on the cop-car.

at 5:37 I don't see anything wrong with what that car did. they were in a right hand turn only lane and turned right at the same time the white truck was also turning left through the same light. They clearly saw they were clear to go and there was absolutely nothing unsafe about that move.

3:35 she intentionally turned out into the left lane without making sure it was clear and then only KIND OF corrected so she didn't hit him then she continued merging. If she had just swung wide for the right lane and gone back, he probably would've let it go. But she clearly just didn't pay attention initially and continued to drive poorly after the fact. (even rode the center lane line before being pulled over)
Thank you for posting these to see people like this get their just reward. People that drive like this drive me crazy sometimes iv been almost killed several times but this kind of people and they almost always seem to get away with it

When I was in the military, I took time to visit a lifelong friend who kinda lives out in the sticks. I happened to visit during a snowstorm and was driving cautiously through the single lane roadways. Some dick was riding my ass for miles until we passed a state trooper and the guy immediately fell back a 100 yards, the trooper flipping a U turn to pull him over was one of the most satisfying moments of my life.
I love watching videos like this and this is the first time I've seen one from at a location I know and have actually driven through.

Yep and different states have different transports. Some have Dodge Chargers, Ford Explorers (most common), Chevy Suburbans, some even have mini vans.

#7 - Any idea why the road was closed? Often they are closed for thru traffic but open to local traffic. It isn't automatically against the law - but I could be mistaken.

@@carlbruschnigjr1757 the street I live on a couple years ago ahead road closed signs. There is only one way into the neighborhood and it is to pass the sign. It could have been a similar situation.
I'm more inclined to believe the cop was either pulling over the car coming from the opposite direction or was responding to a call. They usually don't care about the road closes signs because they would constantly be pulling over every car that lived on that road.
@@nznsi normally if it’s private property by a company or gov, they issue a police car to make sure nothing get stolen, vandalized, or damaged. Even if it’s for local folks only they are issued with a permit to drive thru. Gov and companies normally are strict about Road closures & what’s being build or torn down

Thanks. Nice to see justice exists on some roads. No so much in northern VA. Rolling through red lights and stop signs is super common in northern VA. In some cases they even speed up if traffic is coming. Cops here are leaving a lot of money on the table.

In a 60 MPH zone, HPD would pass a car going 80 to pull over a truck going 70.
My brother pulled one of these bone head moves back in the early 's. He was his usual impatient self, pulled out from behind a car, passed it on the left, and then tried to make a right hand turn in front of the same vehicle into a shopping center. As I said he tried, only he clipped the left front corner of the vehicle, which turned out to be an unmarked police car. So ..... he got a ticket with multiple offenses checked off (our police don't give you multiple tickets unless they there aren't enough items to check off on the one and then they have to resorts to writing them). this was my brothers 4th ticket ..... went to traffic court ...... ended up with his license all but suspended ..... he was only permitted to drive to work and back home (and if he had a service call away from the main office, he had to get someone from work to drive him) ..... and he had fines and court costs AND he had to take a mandatory driver retraining course, AND then retake the written and road tests AND pass them both with 100% score to get his license back with no restrictions ...... but his points stayed on his record a couple of years, so he had the pleasure of paying much, much higher insurance premiums for how many years the company required to elapse before CONSIDERING lowering his premiums.
I can only hope he finally figured it out…🥴

We have that here in CT. Its not confusing because the light is for the lane you are in. Turn only lanes have an arrow. It does a lot to alleviate traffic congestion.

@@HeroTypez I was thinking the same thing. No turn on red arrow is common everywhere but it took me 3 watches to see the arrow all the way on the other side of the street. If it's common in an area that's OK, but I probably would have looked at the two solid greens in front of the lanes and thought it was an unprotected left turn. I think that drive made an honest mistake.

And once around Charleston SC I was pulled over for going 53 in a 45 even though I was in the right lane and cars were passing. No one does that except for newer officers.

I have noticed more and more 4X4 drivers think they can make their own 'roads' trying to take short cuts to avoid traffic, even going over medium strips.
Wish we had a convenient cop yesterday in Essex Ontario. Guy road up behind us in his big white truck, honked his horn at us even though we were already going 10kms over, then passed on a double yellow and honked all the way. Had someone do that in the same general area a few years back, he took off like a bolt of lightning, and got picked off by the OPP. Brought a smile on our faces.
If it's one lane each way, there's no way to please those drivers. You could go 20 over and they'd still act like this.
Pardon me for driving like everyone else. The only excuse is it's an emergency. But big pickup trucks... you know.

edit at 3:10 where the truck was coming out of the closed road. Similarly this helped solve a murder in northern BC when the cops saw a car coming out of this unusual road where they're normally shouldn't be a car. When they drove up the road then they found someone had been murdered. LEO should always follow their gut instincts!

@@cmsxcb Was gonna say that too...road closed usually still means open to local traffic. I lived in two different areas where the road was closed for a while, one was while they were putting in a whole new sewer system. I had to dodge workers whose heads were barely sticking out of massive holes in the road, because how else am I going to get to and from my house for several months straight? Plus what about construction workers going into a closed road for the whole reason it's closed in the first place?
Granted, this may absolutely be one of those cases of "nobody should have been on that road at all".
What if the driver of the truck lives down that road. What if he was a construction worker doing some construction work in a construction zone? Cops just can't assume everyone is a criminal.
