hated the movie, Hart is just not the best character for such movies. a lot of things that didn't make sense, so unrealistic, not funny at all and overall forgettable
I completely agree with your review. I watched it and it was just not hitting like I wanted it to. One of my favorite heist movies is Italian Job and it felt like it was trying to mimic that with some upgrades. I felt like there was potential for the script to be more comedic but it was overall really dry. Out of the four movies from his deal, Fatherhood was definitely the best one.
If I recall correctly she had a show on NBC with Boris Kogdoe called SPIES it was very good, but you know Brown people can’t love each other in reality or fantasy… Makes people nervous of our POWER we have when we are ONE.
I watched this movie based off your review. I enjoyed it. My man loves Michael Bey so he was here for it. The storyline was decent. I appreciated Kevin taking the more serious role and letting the other guy provide the comic relief.

Kevin Hart had no flare as a leader, that made him stick out. I didn’t read as a mastermind. Heist was so futuristic, it made it less creative as a whole. Realism that they could actually do this was not there.
GuGu did a TERRIBLE job. I thought this was one of her worst gigs. The acting was giving High School Musical. I’d watch Man from Toronto a thousand times before I watch this again 🥴

Kevin Hart to me is the black version of David Spade but Hollywood keeps thinking he's a real leading man which he's just not. There's not a single Kevin Hart movie in 20 years that people enjoyed where he carried the movie by himself. Even Will Ferrell carried some movies by himself like Anchorman that a lot of people liked before Hollywood got tired of him for doing the same thing in every role and his movies that kept bombing
When I realize this was an action movie, I immediately imagine Kevin being well, Kevin. Hopefully, it'll be a good turn my brain off movie lol. I couldn't take his last two Netflix films My favorite Heist movie is probably Now You See Me lol.

There was a scene in ride along (1 or 2..idk) he was pretending to be a bad guy (Fishburne's character Omar). It felt like he played a character that was mocking what a suave bad guy was supposed to be. It wasn't believable at all

Italian Job was a good 1.... keep the Christmas decorations up for as long as you can, it puts you in a good mood , no matter what
