Although not widely used in the Philippines, cast-in-place method is best. Very strong in all structural environments, one piece walls and or ceilings, no rendering layer to fail over time. Completely water proof when waterproofing agent is added to the cement mixture. Thinner, stronger and more durable walls when cast as a single unit. Very fast erection of walls for almost any build project.
This method requires learning new techniques but is well worth the effort. I believe this building style is far superior to any block/mortar type of construction.

We've been using aac blocks for 2 years now. Aac blocks are relatively more expensive compared to conventional chb material wise, but as stated here, labor cost can be trimmed down to an almost 30% cheaper since it uses lesser concrete, no rebars and no plastering. I would highly recommend this product since for us sobrang bilis niya i install. Downside is, youll be using more skimcoat since yung allignment niya relies on the blocks alone. We managed to have create a solution by sanding the surface 1st before skimcoat application.

Counter sa claim na mas makakamura dahil chb is almost readily available within your locality while these blocks are too expensive to be shipped and deliverd at expense of the buyer.

@@MariaMaria-id4hf you may check on them how to get discount. I guess they claming tipid sa LABOR cost. yung percentage. TIME kasi is critical din in construction especially for big projects baka doon sila nag base. it really depends on your project. Kaya every project should be well specified.

I have zero knowledge in construction but Im planning to construct my house. I have question in mind:
    1. Pwede ba to pag hanggang 3rdfloor at slab lahat ng floors?
    2. This is just for wall lang ba talaga so traditional pa din ang paggawa ng mga biga at poste ng bahay?
