Gotta love this Kripperino because we know he loads games that are weeks old. So when he opens with some bullshit about how new it is. You can always count on this user to reveal this strategy is weeks old and won’t work at the current patch

The bug usually displays that you hit the ghost for its maximum hp+armor, so if it was a hero with a bunch of armor, that's the reason.
I mean, why count damage when you can just check max hp and display it as damage? The ghost is dead, so of course he hit it for 58, perfectly logical...
Kripp spoke about it in a video released around two weeks ago, that highest possible damage is exactly 55 and its not possible so it must be some kind of bug
The classic "balanced to perfection" shenanigans
You got the buddy on turn 6, and it started that combat round with +24/+24. It really feels too powerful of an effect to be unlimited. Usually effects that strong are limited to happening once or twice per round.
You shouldn't get a scaling buddy on a hero power that can force the same build.

As long as this buddy exists, it's just too good- even gettling a bit lucky with your opener means that you can hardly ever lose.
It's almost unfun to play since you win so easily.

I got this hero a couple of times early in the patch. The first time i saw the buddy double the deep blues scaling i immediately knew it was broken.
I honestly think the problem is Crooner. The crazy scaling and duplication of that scaling is absurd. Maybe they could nerf him to like tier 5 but make the spells scale faster or something
Crooner in anyone else's board is significantly less impactful, though. It makes like a good, NORMAL boardstate if you invest like the exact same minion setup minus her buddy. Her buddy is definitely the issue, because even if you get like golden crooner 2 golden zesty shakers it's manageable for other boards to fight.
The problem is the buddy doubles up (and then TRIPLES UP) on every cast INCLUDING zesty shaker casts so suddenly even 1 crooner would be giving you 9 spellcrafts with a single golden zesty. Whereas normally 2 golden zesty gives you 5.
with 1 golden zesty and 1 crooner, the buddy is worth the same on someone else's board as 4 golden zestys. In that scenario the buddy is worth NINE CARDS. And it only gets worse the further you go.

By free stats do you mean nerfing his scaling by 66%? The buddy doesn't copy spells cast in the tavern, so if you invest deep blues into the shop you miss out on 2 extra casts of deep blues.
Sure you get to perm stats, but at the cost of hundreds of temporary stats and faster scaling for all the next deep blues.
@@kirinashia567 It was near the end of the game, in 2 rounds some 8 extra casts of deep blue couldn't offset the hundreds that shellemental would give him.
He'd be stronger for the final round.
Not like it matters though, the hero is broken enoug that you could go with any line of play you like.
@@hiddenkoalarage If your line of thought is that it was near the end of the game he should also keep using it on his own board. The temporary stats from buddy are hundreds more and happen at the same time a shellemental hit would be relevant. Unless you're really saying he should've calculated a risk of taking like ONE TO TWO turns of buffing tavern ->shellemental before going back to buffing his board to end the game out?
True on the final point, I mean, he gave the stats and the hero basically wins half the games it's in

It's so easy to make an actual nerf on this hero. Just make it so the crooner spellcraft is not progressing when cast on the buddy. Boom, balanced.

It’s never been more pay to win than right now. The advantage gained from picking from 4 heroes has never been so large. That I can remember.
Pretty sure its better to keep 2 normal buddies instead golden one
It's the same scaling but perhaps it is better to have 2 quite big minions instead of giant one in case of scams, but board size issues are going to happen
I always remember just how shit Blizzard is at balancing when I open up BGs.
