This album was one of the best in the 80s! Remember it well, watching my amplifiers VU meters pulsing to the beat as the turntable spun the record .The best of times. 😊

Foreigner for the Hall of Fame? Why did it take so long? ABSOLUTELY!!! Get them in! 🎸🎸🎼🎼🥁🥁
Heard this song in year 1984 🎧🎼🎵🎶🎸🎸🎸
Some 70s bands failed to transition into the 80s sound. Foreigner was not among them. Straight banger
This song is 🔥🔥 in 2024!!❤❤❤
Not a huge Foreigner fan but I love this song and the sax is killer.
Lou top 5 voices of all time

I still remember all the critics that hated Foreigner falling all over each other gushing about this song because of the hot sax player...

One of the best sax breaks of the 80s. Love it.
THE best

Junior Walker on saxophone
By the late Junior Walker.
1980's booty call song
Lou Gramm is so awesome. Every song he sings is fire. The original and the best!!
Claro sin duda pero también está la voz de Steve Perry de la banda Journey
So glad they are being inducted into hall of fame. Are doing couple songs. Can't wait.
🌎 Sudamérica mano arriba 🙋🏻♂️
Greatest sax solo ever
It is fantastic indeed, my Top 3, but the one from Pink Floyd's "The Gunner's Dream" hits different ;)
It sucks.
Clemmons’ Jungleland solo is brilliant.
Perfect for the song, that's for sure ❤
I have to agree with you here.
The intro. The bass. The sax. Lou. This song is legendary.
So was the year it came out, blaring out of all the disco speakers in Wiesbaden gasthauses and dives all over what was West Germany at the time.
For young and fresh G.I.s being introduced to their first European experience...
Yeah, it WAS "legendary".
Love all that track
Thomas Dolby did the keyboards for Urgent
I absolutely love foreigner. Cant wait to see them in concert in July °❤
HIS EYES LOOKED SO PIERCING AND BRIGHT LIKE HE COULD SEE INTO YOU. THIS PERFORMANCE WAS PURE ELECTRIC. THE BAND SOUNDED LIKE PERFECT ROCK. LOU GRAMM SURE IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN.I LOVE LOU GRAMM FOREVER.
I know!
I love Lou Gramm 's Expression of the EYES in this video. 😅
I'm also in love with Lou's eyes, they're so expressive and beautiful ❤
Both Lou Gramm and that sax make this song! 🎵 👌 👏 🙌 🤣
Jr. Walker (Shotgun) on Sax.

I truly love this song 🎵 ❤️ it's totally bad ass 🎉🎉. The sax in this song it's phenomenal 🎉🎉. Foreigner is one hell of an amazing rock band 🎉🎉. Their music 🎶 🎵 talent is incredible 🎉🎉
“You’re everywhere, but you’re so hard to find” 😎
Lou's voice is really one in a million. You won't hear something like that except from him.
Never been a fan of foreigner but love Urgent and that riff.
I love the saxophone in that song
Eine der mit besten Bands.Wahnsinns Stimme.Muss man immer an den alten Zeiten denken.
I voted over 50 times for them alone and finally Foreigner gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Congratulations Foreigner! 🤘🤘
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I’m still rocking I’m 59! Love rock music
I d forgotten how phenomenal this is 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
The sax solo absolutely nails it. Just glorious listening to that
Reminds me of the guy in Bruce Springsteen'z band . He had pipez. Great concertz both if them.
I agree B.F., and always have. I got to see them in '82 (the following year of release) at the Inglewood Forum as part of the '4' tour. Fantastic! There's an aspect to that sax solo that reminds me of something that would have been a hit in the sexy, fun Roaring '20s; not the total nightmare '20s we're in now. '4' was really Foreigner's last album for many, many fans. Lou Gramm was very unhappy about Mick Jones' decision to go the 'cry baby' ballad route of Journey with the next album featuring "I Want to Know What Love Is". Millions felt betrayed, still do. Regardless, this was a peak album with 'Juke Box Hero' 2nd runner-up to Urgent. That will never change. We'll always have those 4 albums.
My favorite part!!!
I believe that's Mark Rivera on sax..he was Billy Joel's sax player for like 40 years
@@giggle_girrl2306 In this video it may be, but the album was recorded with Jr. Walker. He was in the studio at the time, and they talked him into doing a solo for them. He listened to the song, went to his studio, and gave them a tape with a few solos on it, and told them "I think you'll find something on there you'll like". I've always been curious as to if there were several to choose ftom, or just this one. Jr. Walker is one of my favorites ftom the 60s, along with his band. " Jr. Walker & The Allstars"
Seriously, one of my favorite songs of all time. 💃💃💃 Lou's voice and that sax solo, awesome.👍
Isn’t it really really really really odd that this band isn’t in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame??
I read 'sex solo' :D Which is kinda apt too I guess
Sax solo is just orgasmic here :D
Junior Walker on Sax.
with you
the saxo solo at 2;45 is always urgent
Heard this song for the first time today. Fantastic!
I'm 77 years old and I still love this music! It sound young to my ears
Saks gives me Goosebumps
Actually more than
77?!
Love your comment my friend, awesome band ❤️👍
Классс! Драйв и Мелодичность...!!!1 -Шедевр.!!!

Best sax solo in a rock song imo

Urgent! Urgent! We need music like this back again.
Yeahhhhh, urgent.....
Can't replace what once was!
yes we do now they have some wannabe Lou Gramm singing
URGENTly
Чудесни
OMG! That sax!
Hell yeah it's urgent❤
That sax solo should win a Nobel prize, maybe several.
A time when music and talent were real. Lou's voice was absolutely incredible! How many times have you seen a drummer out in front of the band? You have to hold on to this music people, pass it on to your kids because we'll never see the likes of this again. Long live Foreigner.
I love the drummer he's awesome
Ain’t that the truth!
Whatever, Grandpa. Apparently you've forgotten all the crap that existed back then.
@@alukuhito hahahaha nice comment jag off....
I didn't even notice that until you posted this.. awesome the drummer is up front too, they get over looked a lot. Shows how close they are.
The RRHOF finally got it right for this fantastic band! Now get busy getting Mutt Lange in!
Nice song of Lou Gramm 🎤🎶🎵🎼🎸🎸🎸🎧👍😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
How is this 40 years old!? Incredible track, amazing voice.
Bro music was way ahead of its time back than, I don't know how they did it, but songwriters and musicians were pure genius

The youth of today should watch music videos like this instead of the pile of crap that is served up nowadays.
Lou Gramm was the complete rock vocalist of the time, and he has always been an even better human being!
True legendary talent on display here!
Действительно красавчик!!!
“Youth of today” are here discovering the oldies station 😂, be inclusive 😊

Yess sir so true
This one's on My'Songlist, MY FELLOW ROCK'GODZZZ...😮9999😮...V8RR
I had forgotten how good John Oates was on the sax @2:45.
My mom used to blast this on her stereo when I was a kid. It was fire then and it's still fire now.
You are a Rock n Roll girl Miss Walker.....
Seems you've got a good mom! 😄
@@Synchronicety c'était classique à l'époque d'écouter ça sur sa chaîne hi-fi pour ne passer que des chansons comme ça à la radio
Cool mum
My Mom did too!!!
Journey, Boston, Billy Squier, REO, Boston, Foreigner, Supertramp, Loverboy. Such kick ass music in that period.
Absolutely!
Cheap Trick too
Dont forget Van Halen, Pink Floyd , Genesis , and the Cars
Thanks for including Loverboy here; they're the greatest and most underrated band of eternity! But you can't forget Pat Bennetar
...Boston so good you gave them double approval votes...lol who could argue though. 1974 to 1986 were a epically historic run for music.
Can’t make it loud enough in my car! Awesome tune
that sax solo.....
Love the sax in this song myself as well
Love that sax, it was everywhere in the 80's
Jr. Walker (Shotgun) on Sax.
@@deerobinson6697 LIsten to Junior Walker and the All Stars almbum "Shotgun"

One of the best songs ever written, best song for speeding on the highway down the sunset 🌇
Don't care what anyone says, One of the Greatest Songs Ever!!!
I know Right!!!!
I'm 58 and I always hear this super song of my favorite rock band. Foreigner, The Best!!!. That's real music. Go Lou!!
I am 74 and feel much the same. I was in my prime in the 80's. Great memories.
He's playing the hell outta that SAX...Yessssssssssss blow that horn babyyyyyyy
Love it... reminds me Vero Beach FL 1981. Student life most beautiful days at Fligh Safety Academy 😊😊😊
I love how the band clearly appreciates their sax man, as you SHOULD, they're priceless and rare.
Definitely! Or woman, as in Qurterflash, she was a great sax player.
The Sax solo in this song is iconic. The entire solo is great, but those four notes right before his ending lick are the ones that I always anticipate.
It's an absolute shame that we never hear a saxophone in this so-called music of today.
@@c.d.7742 Man I swear the sax needs a come back.
@@localstrangler566 Yes,i miss Tom Gimbel and his Saxophon. He plays the Sax very good.Urgent and the Band needs a comeback
Sax solo was played by the legendary Motown artist Junior Walker.
And I agree with you.
It is as iconic as it gets.
@@aladdinsane7882 Thanks for sharing that info. I was unaware of who the sax player was in the video.
Dieser Song hat meine Jugend in den "80 begleitet....LOVE IT❤
That Sax ain't no joke....gets me everytime.
Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr. AKA Junior Walker did, a black soul music artist! I"m telling! One of the BEST sax solo in pop rock music of all the time!
It's in a class by itself... wonderful horn blowing skills above the rest🙏🔥
He killed it like prince
Yes...beautiful instrument!!! I live not far from the town" Dinant" in Belgium where Adolphe Sax was born and invented this beautiful instrument! he is everywhere in the town...and even a festival of saxophones every year..
@@mamycamion that's cool, I bet you can find some rare and expensive ones there
Foreigner was so badass in the 70's and 80's I love Lou Gramm.
great music great band back in the day 👍
The sax part in this clip is epic..and I’m adding this comment to the video. Say hi to all and remember seeing Lou In our pubic park in 2003. Thanks for show. Great memory.
Golden, will never get old.
Legendär...da kommen mir die Tränen...war eine geile Zeit!...vermisse die 80er...die Bands, die Musik, das Feeling...
The funkiest rock song of ALLTIME. Doesnt get enough credit. And that JW sax break is next level. Lou Gramms voice at its best love it more. Music today is a joke compared to this classic era.
Foreigner should already be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..period!
Full stop end of statement
Helll yes
100 percent
Nobody better!
agreed it's ridiculous they're not. They sold gazillions of records and were an influence on everyone from Loverboy to 80s Rainbow. They defined AOR
His voice and Steve perry. Nothing but perfection!!!
yes i agree.. i'm Leon parham and i approve of this group
Mickey Thomas and Brad Delph would saunter into a top ten list with both but all trailing Robert Plant
Paul Rogers?
Definitely Paul Rogers.....Free, Bad Company, The Firm, among others.
@@sweetitis Glad to see Mickey Thomas's name in that list. I would 100per cent agree, Love starship.
