- The orange noise (which is found in various natural phenomena, such as weather patterns, earthquake signals, and physiological processes, and is considered to have a more natural and pleasant sound than other types of noise) in this video has been specially rendered in 8D. If you listen with headphones, you will hear it start in front of you, make a full clockwise rotation around you over the next 30 seconds, then turn around and make a full counterclockwise rotation around you over the next 30 seconds, then turn around and do it over all again. It can help you relax and get some sleep, and may alleviate the effects of tinnitus. It has also been reported to have positive effects for people with neurodivergent traits (autism, ADHD, etc.). 8D audio works by using a combination of panning and EQ effects which our brains interpret as a 360° spatial soundscape that goes beyond the simple left and right of stereo. It might even sound as though it's coming from inside the listener's head. The result can bring about clarity, pleasing sensations, and more. There hasn't been any notable scientific research proving the benefits of 8D audio thus far and it may end up being no more than a buzzword, but millions of people use it daily and that's got to count for something!
Fun fact: orange noise is not an "official" color of noise, so there may be multiple interpretations of how it should sound. It falls between white noise and pink noise in terms of its spectral characteristics and may also be known as "1/f noise," as its power spectral density is proportional to the inverse of the frequency (f). I created mine by starting with pink noise and then applying a low-pass filter at 10,000 Hz and a high-pass filter at 100 Hz, both of which roll off at a rate of 6 dB per octave.

If so, I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by a mid-roll ad. I have them disabled on all of my content, but CZcams has a confirmed bug that causes them to play for some viewers anyway. It's not just my channel - this has been a problem across the entire platform since at least mid-2022. CZcams's engineers know about the bug and what causes it to happen, but unfortunately, they have not provided any information about when (or if) they will fix it.
The bug tends to manifest as a 30-second mid-roll ad played around the 6-hour mark, and it disproportionately affects iPhone and iPad users. I have been investigating this for a very long time, and I go into more detail about my findings here: czcams.com/video/ndeUVgZMh1Y/video.html
If you are affected by the bug but still want to access my content, I recommend that you view this video's description and try one of the alternatives I have provided, such as Spotify or Rumble. If you want to stay on CZcams, you'll find that I have live stream versions of my most popular content, and they tend to be safe from the bug - but not always.
The only guaranteed way to never get ads on CZcams is to subscribe to CZcams Premium, which I understand is not an option for everyone. As it turns out, the reason I do not need to play ads is because my channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from CZcams Premium.
You are welcome to reply to this comment with information about what happened to you. Historically, it has been helpful for me to know what type of device you are on, which app or browser you use, the approximate timestamp of when the ad played, and what company/product/service the ad was for.

you are genius at this…or at least it seems like it, that the human ear can distinguish so many variations and know which are pleasing to it without melodies, etc. Brown noise still my fave ❤…but thanks for all you do for posting all the different sounds for different ears…and ofc, for stopping the mid=roll ads on your part. I don’t think anyone else on YT can deliver it like you can!

I love the little orange circle and black square identification symbols. I haven't noticed that before.
Sound does propagate in a circular fashion across the blank, dark stage of space...also, I have not got an ad since you announced the fix.🙂
I think I might have been the first person on CZcams to put the color-coded emoji in the noise video titles. Now, everyone does it. 🤷♂ I'm glad you like them!
I'm also glad you haven't gotten any ads recently. I hope it stays that way, but CZcams hasn't given me much confidence about this issue.

And I thought I liked green noise the best! I suffer (and I mean SUFFER) from Tinnitus. It started 18 years ago and it has not stopped for one second. It all started for an unknown reason but a guess by my hearing specialist was a delayed reaction to the tornado I was hurt in. (I remember it sounding like a jet engine was inside my home) Anyway, I use a Bluetooth speaker every single time I sleep to drown out the screeching sound in my ear. Bless you for no ads as they wake me up. Suddenly someone begins talking about colon cleansing or the perfect bra or makeup! 😝 Sorry this is so long but I want you to know how much I appreciate it. 😊
Ugh, yeah, tinnitus has a number of causes but one of the leading theories right now is that some types of it are a direct result of hearing loss. I can't remember the last time I could enjoy silence, so I understand. I'm glad this makes a difference for you and that you're not getting ads (not everyone is so lucky, there's a bug that still gives some people ads in the middle of the night). And hey, no worries, I love reading and writing in these comments with everyone. 😁
