You amaze me, your paintings are better than the parts of the references that you use!
I love your painting ...I hope i can paint as good as you one day.
I really like this style of painting so i'llkeep trying . you are a great teacher. Thanks
Thanks Dan! You got this!
It is so nice to see how to handle a western painting! I have nearly all the stuff I need to get painting. I want to learn this looser painting technique. People around here, LOVE western paintings so I am so excited to get started. Thank you for all the detail!
You are so welcome Peggy!
Grazie David bellissima scena !
My pleasure!
Loved this!
Thank you Pamela.
👋Hello David, magnificent! You are a fantastic painter and a very good teacher to boot! I love this piece, the landscape looks wonderful, the cows crossing the ford make the painting come alive, but the icing on the cake is the rider on his palomino stirring up the water with his hooves. He also attracts all eyes as the main subject, before leading them on to the horizon and the mountains via the Hereford and the further small herd. If one loves Westerns, one will also love your Western paintings, I think. They evoke emotions, which may be a little too romanticized at times, but one is still allowed to dream, right? - Thank you, David, have a good evening.🐄🐎👍💖
Thank you so much Cora. Yes, I do love painting westerns!
This is my favorite of all your westerns so far David! The energy the water splashes give is amazing! I wish I had more time to paint every one of your lessons! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much Matthew!
I know you say the way to improve is to practice, and I agree. But, no matter how much I practice, and/or improve, I didn't start with the natural talent you have. You are a phenomenal artist, and an easy to follow teacher and you never seem to get impatient answering the same questions over and over. Thank you for sharing your talent with us .
I'll keep practicing, and it's cathartic, but I'll never be referred to as "phenomenal".
I don't have a natural talent. I was a chemist. Couldn't draw or paint for years. It took a lot of practice.
❤️💐🙏
😀
Beautiful David !!! Thanks so much 😊
My pleasure!
Just wondering if you give permission for us to try to sell a painting that we did to your tutorials
