My favorite memory was 2011 I live in Michigan and about 10 miles away from MIS was a brand new Office Depot so for part of the marketing they had his Back up car at the parking lot for the weekend so I got to sit in it get pictures and everything well part of the deal was you got a diecast for any purchase so we bought somethings for our office and I got the diecast and on the way out I didn't meet Stewart but if I remember correct it was Newman who I got to meet and sign my diecast definitely a fun experience and the race was great since I saw that in person.

That last one, honestly imo best fight for the title period. I sorta like the new points where its 4 drivers fighting for the championship makes it like anyone guess on who's gonna win I feel. But nothing will ever beat the 2011 season Chase where Tony won half the Chase races and won by a tiebreaker. I think that's a first in Modern Nascar that I can remember, I was actually rooting for Tony to win the championship when it was just down to him and Carl.

It just doesn’t feel right that Tony never got a Daytona 500 seeing how insanely good he was there. He always had that 79-97 Earnhardt luck there

Since the chase era, Tony Stewart holds the record for winning the championship with the fewest wins (2005- 0 wins) and the most wins (2011- 5 wins) during the chase.

There's another part from the Martinsville win in 2011 that is often overlooked. Tony had to race his butt off to not get lapped for like 40 laps while he was running 16th. If he had gotten lapped, he wouldn't have won that day, and wouldn't have won the championship that year.

  • @Tommy23269

Not many people bring up his Martinsville 2011 win. He was going to get lapped around 140 laps to go and basically made up a whole lap to win the race.

Out of all these wins there are no Daytona 500 wins for Tony Stewart unfortunately, just regular Daytona wins but not the 500. Overall still lots of great wins throughout Stewart’s career

Hard to believe Tony actually only won 1 of the 4 Crown Jewel Races as they put it in Nascar. Never Won the Daytona 500, Never won the Coke 600 ( Close a couple times), and never won Darlington.

Lol. I was surprised it wasn't on the list. I remember watching that race on TV and figured he had a major issue. That car was so dominate the whole day and after the incident happened he was probably like well forget it, no sense it getting out now... (He crapped his pants and still won the race for those that don't know.)

2005 Pepsi 400 was my favorite Stewart win he didn't just win he dominated won the pole led all but 9 laps I don't think anyone else has done that in that race since and of course he did the fence climb for the first time.
