The brand Punky Colour is also fantastic! It's actually recommended to mix it 1:1 with conditioner to get the shade you see on the bottle so it's very cost-effective. Plus, it's a very popular international brand so the colour selection is great and you can find pictures of what it looks like on different shades of hair.

I used to swear by a brand called Splat which I would get family members to bring down from North America. It was great! The colour hardly faded for well over a month and it was cheaper than Manic Panic. I recently tried Birds of Paradyes on my mum's grey hair and it turned out so beautiful!

what about conditioners? Does it help in keeping ur coloured hair softer or less tangeable? As u mentioned that coloured hair is a little more prone to tangeable plus no hair dryer and all.
Hello! Any sulphate/para ben free conditioner would do. Yes you definitely need to use it otherwise your hair would be v dry & frizzy

Hello! That depends on how light your hair is or how bright your colour is. If you bleach it will again strip it back to blonde completely (and damage your hair a lot in the process)

I am late by a year but I have black hair and I was wondering if I want like dark red or blue streaks do I still need to bleach? I don’t want my hair to become dry or frizzy so..
For dark red (like burgundy ish tones that show up in the light) you wouldn’t need to bleach. It’s very difficult for any colour to show up on black hair though so at best you might get a tint
do you use normal shampoo or is there anything specific for coloured hair?
I use normal shampoo but try to stay after from anti dandruff ones as they tend to strip colour faster 😊

What kind of shampoo do you use? Is the use of conditioner important?
Yes, conditioner & hair mask is really important as the hair is quite brittle 😊 for shampoo use anything based on your hair type - I try to avoid anti dandruff ones as they are pretty strong and strip colour fast

All of these are semi permanent ones. MoSt bright colours are semi permanent and last 4-8 washss

Hello! The price varies from salon to salon - I guess it would be anywhere from Rs 2,000-5,000. It gets more expensive if the volume of hair to be bleached is also more. And with regard to telling them, hahah just show a sample picture
Hey! I bleached my hair the first time 6 months ago (at home) and as you mentioned it didn’t lighten much. I tried a burgundy-ish shade and it barely showed back then. It’s all gone now. I bought Streax hair colour now and want to try coloring my hair again.

Hey! It depends on how light your bleached hair is. If it’s light brown then your colour added will look a darker shade than expected. Id suggest either bleaching it lighter (if hair isn’t too damaged) or just colouring over it if you’re ok with a darker shade

Haha yes that should be ok! But make sure you use heat protectant spray/serum before that

Oh yes, definitely! Id recommend a good hair mask (would be more effective than conditioner) - if you have wavy hair then the one by fix my curls is v v nice

Hi sis one more question does color drops and stains your tops or whatever after every time you wash your hair
It does wash off in the shower, but it doesn’t stain the floor / tiles. For some colours they can leave a mark on your white pillow cover in the first 2-3 days after you colour so just keep an eye on that

You just have to wash off the bleach using shampoo, no conditioner. After colouring though, definitely use conditioner.

Hi - after the colour fades, it will mostly be a reddish blonde/brown (if you put pink) or a very light greenish brown if you put blue. If you want black again you’ll have to dye it black 😊

@@DrRohiniM hey, yes i used it but it kinda made my hair dry, like and the blonder powder given was very less in comparison to the colour. my final feedback is that it made my hair super dry like i had to use a LOT of conditioner to make my hair soft again but it didn’t work properly, so i’d recommend going to a parlour like i did after using streax for a few months or maybe just bleach your hair from the parlour cause the blonder powder is the thing that ruins the quality of the hair. but if you don’t wanna spend much money id recommend to use conditioner after every wash and in between every wash, hope it helps :)

I would suggest going by what your salon person told you. Personally, oiling hasn’t affected my colour though

@@rehana4647 I don’t think it would, because black tends to cover every other colour but since you bleached it the texture would still be rough and a bit different from your regular hair :)

No I don’t think it does 😊 I usually use coconut oil or other clear oils. But even when I use herb based brown ones I haven’t seen a massive change

@@synnjini longevity of all hair colours depend on how often you wash it. I wash my hair once a week, so hair colour lasts about 4-6 weeks before it gets super faded. So I’d say 4-6 washes
Does bleached hair goes back to original shade of hair i.e. black or brown ? Does cutting bleached hair makes the new hairs grow into original colour ?

Hi! Bleached hair doesn’t go back to the original colour, it remains blonde :) and yes if you cut bleached hair your hair will grow back with the original colour - just imagine bleach to be like paint on hair 😊
