Good lord I didn't expect a update for the game with a brand new modern mode. Seeing the differences in the gym leaders' and Rando's pokemon is amazing. I'll probably do one sometime. Maybe when they add new pokemon to the game.
Never the less this was a amazing run. So many awesome fusions, so many friends lost their lives..aside from 2 booms, and of course so many close calls. Also Rando seriously..don't set up your restaurant in the Champion room.

@@theuncommonsoap Funny thing about that transformation. If I remember correctly Ultra Necrozma gains a Dragon type as well. So there was a possibility that Ultra Luxray became a Electric/Dragon type. I might be wrong on that one though.

Yeah they seriously made the teams tougher to fight now. Even the Johto teams feel harder.

If I was doing like a normal run. I’d def wanna keep my karma up, but since every run is a new nuzlocke I just go for it

I've been attempting hardcore nuzlockes on modern mode where you can only catch the first already fused mon on a route and can't unfuse, or take any gift/trade pokes that aren't already fused (which seems like all of them, this includes eggs). Starting with a prefused pokemon of any two normal starters (best seems to be totodile bulbasaur because of Misty). Because I hate myself.
So you set the randomizer to just be fuse everything but don’t change anything else? That could be fun!
@theuncommonsoap nope, I just only catch the first fused wild pokemon I see, rather than first pokemon flat (unless it's fused lol) and no it isn't fun, it's hell torture and you hitting two Accelrock's in a row on Misty's stupid snowcloak Frosras in the hail triggered me SO hard! Great video 😆
I need more save slots cause i'm trying to use all 8 of mine simultaneously so my runs are going slow(don't want 1 going too far ahead). I was looking at the fusion dex website and want to do a randomizer where only main team is caught fusions. Only exceptions are you use the random feature on the website and the 6 pokemon it gives you can be made and used in it's evolution line.

Great videos my guy, but some constructive criticism. I've noticed in all of your videos you sometimes say the same thing twice, say part words, and other things of the like. Since you are clearly doing the voice over post capture, try to cut those parts out in editing for a cleaner video! :)

We'd need more randomized runs for better challenge.
I try to do a randomizer every 3 or 4 runs. I know if I spam them it’d mess up the algorithm. Plus I love the mono challenges, sometimes straight normal runs
Are you going to try the Expert + hard mode nuzlocke? With the limited pool pre Brock I feel like the early game (Misty and brock) is insanely hard and up there with some of the really hardcore romhacks. With the way your team size is limited and the item options being oran berries, then stacking that the only water type pre Brock being a 5% encounter makes his Craniados/Amaura a massive first hurdle. I'd really like to see how you deal with it
I’ve toyed with it a bit on stream, an actual VIDEO I feel might be a bit TOO hard with my current turn around time. Esp with how I play with not allowing myself to unfuse, but I’m sure I’ll get there at some point! In fact I might stream that instead of more remix mode lol

would you ever do a run where you ban the static encounters, so there is more variety? Or a run where you just start in johto and grab a new team there? Or a run where you toss your team after each gym and build a new one?

Some of those I’ve considered. But it’s more likely something I’d do on stream, just because TBH I’m not sure how the algorithm would understand that. Usually when I’ve done Johto I make it a 2nd video and with this new update I 100% want to do it soon

how about doing a fully randomized mode? You've got to be bored of the same boss battles all the time?
In 6.1 the encounters, and trainer teams (including just the normal ones) were all revamped so this was a really fun run to do. But I put randomizers in every few videos so it doesn’t get stale.

So it changes the leader types, and make their teams better cover their weaknesses. It also makes it so you can encounter every pokemon in the game vs mostly Kanto/Johto.

Ah a typical vanilla player. Sir some of us really enjoy watching nuzlockes, they are a challenge and when you've been playing pokemon your whole life vanilla playthroughs just don't cut it anymore. If you want to see as many fusions as possible go watch all his videos and all his future videos, trust me there are plenty of fusions to come in the future.
And it's certainly not annoying, you capitalizing annoying, is annoying.

This is still an interesting video and will appease this person(cant assume[or even list] genders anymore i promise im not being mean). Admittedly, i too wouldnt mind more cool fusions. Maybe do a use only bad mons run theyll likely die so u replace them, but no catch likit rule?
