I'm on xbox, would love to try this out . Always sets me at the runway, with engines ready. But don't know how to select cold and dark or whatever it's called
@@davidhack351I know I’m some months late but to do a cold start you zoom in on the airport until you see all the other dots besides the runways, deploying from those puts you in a cold start.
The training squadron for the USMC Tiltrotor group is based a short drive from me, they still make me stop and admire them any and every time I see them flying overhead
The Osprey has been on the drawing board since the mid-80s. I remember as a kid going into the model stores in the late 80s and early 90s and seeing model kits of this aircraft.
Interesting fact, to increase survivability of the osprey, the engines are linked together mechanically. One can completely lose power and it will still make it back to base.
Thanks for doing a video on this! Those props actually come within a foot of the fuselage when in airplane mode. It’s a crazy bird! Proud to have been able to work and fly on these.

Awesome video, and a little tip if you wanna fly it again, when you're in cruise flight, you have to pull the throttle way back once you've reached the speed you want, especially if you wanna hover, i saw you pushing the nose down constantly, thats because you left it in almost full military power, same thing with the speed you want, if you want to just hover (with now input of the stick) you gotta lower the throttle, but good flying still!

The entire fleet of Osprey has been grounded since December after the last crash off the coast of Japan.
Good American engineering they always crash
I work next to the osprey hangar they operated out of, it was a sad day across the whole bay, rip to those fallen airmen
