Something to know trev, on the bigger aircraft like the a320, it may look like your coming in way too hot (12:56) but the general landing speed for commericial airlines is between 145-130 knots.

12:55 Just to let you know Trev but that landing speed you have is quite typical for airliners so its not too fast like you might think. 135-140knts is the usual landing speed you wanna be at if your flying airliners. Great video btw :)

Pretty sure the ground roll is basically the distance you are rolling in excess of those 2 touchdown markers. The 2 solid white whites on either side toward the end of the runway are what you are aiming for, if you overshoot them slightly it's fine but those are your goal.

Ground roll is how far you are off of centerline. And yes please do vedios of you learning and just flying i would love that and im sure others would too. Its interesting to see peoples thought process. PS. landing speed is very inportant. Or a320 its about 140 i think

Just a little tip, aim for the start of the 3rd stripe Before those 2 HUGE white boxes, when you get over the runway power idle, level out over that 3rd stripe and then you should slowly descend into the white boxes, which is in real life, your "touchdown zone". Doubt you will see this but heck might as well try. PS: thats for the little planes, for the bigger planes you still wanna land at the white box, but dont ask me how xD
Went to Sedona last year, absolutely stunning nature around there. I actually ate at a restaurant besides the runway (btw the airport is only used for private airplanes i believe) and it was so good, so if you ever decide to visit sedona, i would recommend it.

Trev forgets to retract spoilers and high angle of attack caused the a320 to crash. I love when he gets distracted.
Trev you had way more flaps available on that a320 to help marinating low speed. And airliners land at between 120-140 may be a little higher with eng out protocal but gives you rough idea the plane can fly fine on 1 eng it just managing the direction really

Enjoy your trip to the UK! Just fyi, despite the full name ("London Gatwick"), Gatwick is nowhere near London! It's a good hour south by road, so the connection from LCY is not great. But you can get the train down there from Victoria pretty quickly.
Last landing would've been great but you had your speed brakes up so it was making more difficult for you to pick up any speed with one engine.

@TmarTn2 The Electronics on the TBM were out, you had no flight path or reference information. There was a lot missing even though the screens were on. Good Flying Brother!!

@TmarTn2 you can adjust the simulation rate when wanting to do long haul flights. Take off, set AP then increase simulation rate.

Ground roll is when your gear touches the ground untill you fully stop...basically your score is on how well you keep the center line

Ground roll is your distance to the center line of the runway when you touchdown, the better your ground roll the closer you are the the center of the runway, the worse your ground roll is means your more to the left or right of the runway

Don’t do that ever again mr.
Spoilers are there to be deployed upon touchdown together with reverse thrust to help slow the aircraft to a safe speed for exiting the runway.

U should do an airbus flight from LaGuardia to Reagan, about 30 min. U can do all checklist items for startup and learn more about flying the airbus and it’s controls

I believe they count ground roll as how far you deviate off the centerline after touchdown
I think it's that in combination with how far you go past the touchdown markers.

You had the spoilers on in the a320 on approach to London, it slows you down so that is the reason you were stalling

ELT: activate ELT

Ground roll is where when you land it rolls so if you roll all around the runway then you get lower scores and etc so that’s what that is you why to land dead center etc
