Thank you Katieree, its a lovely poppy x
I made this Poppy for my friend who's name is Poppy! it's her birthday on Monday and I wanted to make her something special so I learned how to crochet
At last an Aussie with Aussie terms and yarn ply. Thank you for this tutorial, I will be making a few of these by November.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you for this lovely poppy pattern. If I may make one hopefully constructive comment, when you say eg, two stitches in or into the next 4 stitches of the previous row, please could you say into EACH of the next 4 stitches, it just stands out more to hear the word “each”. I am more than a beginner, but for a real beginner, it I think it will help.
Thank you! 🌻
your video is very good but the music is too loud i have to turn down the volume for the music and up for your voice
Hi Christine! Thanks for your feedback! This is one of my first videos so I was quite new to video editing. I like to think I have come a long way since then! 🤣 Thankyou for watching! ❤️
Thank you for this amazing video! I now know how to crochet!
My pleasure! Thankyou for watching 🥰
Where can I find the pattern for this poppy? Your tutorial is amazing; I’m just trying to figure out how to read patterns! Tia x
Great video, thank you
My absolute pleasure! Thanks for watching 🥰
I have now made two different size poppys from your tutorial, I had know idea where to start, so thank you so much. A great video and so easy to learn, I can now confidently continue with a project I have been set for my local area. Thanks again.
That’s lovely feedback.. Thankyou so much! 🥰
Great help, need to convert to British terms which is very easy.
Great to hear Alyson! Thanks for watching 💖
I will try to figure out how to send it to you! Blessings
Thanks Lynne! 😁
Hi
The beginning part seems to repeat itself twice and the stitch count on the third round seem wrong. Otherwise , apart from the particularly loud music, it’s well shown. Think it needs relooking at.
Hi Kerry!
Thankyou so much for your feedback. You are right! The first part does repeat itself 😱 Thankyou so much for picking that up!
Have a great day, and happy crocheting.
Kate x
Hi, I agree in round 4 I have too many stitches. Round 3 is ok, I have 40 but round 4, we do 2 double in the next 8 that makes 16 but in the next round it says to do 2 single in the next 8 but I have 16 stitches then!!!!
At the end of round 4 I have 72 stitches in total...
After round 3 of the red colour, I have 16 dc. I am confused in round 4 when you say to add 2 sc in each of the 8 dc? :(
Hi! Thanks for watching!
After round 3 you should have a total of 40 stitches.
In round 4 you will slip stitch into the next stitch, then work 2 single crochets into each stitch for the next 8 stitches. Slip stitch into the next 2 stitches and repeat all the way around, finishing on the single crochets.
If you’d prefer a written pattern you can find it here www.nannakatescrochet.com/blog/remembrance-poppy-crochet-pattern
I hope this helps x
I think the same. There is something wrong. I have 40 stitches at the end of round 3 and 72 stitches at the end round 4.
Hey Gwenaelle,
Those stitch counts are correct 🙂 you can check out the written pattern here - katepolizzi.com.au/blog/remembrance-poppy-crochet-pattern
Thanks for watching! 💖
I love the poppy all Ready to go. Do you no UK is it treble or double. Where to I go to to print a pattern please? Thank you Ruth 😀
Hi Ruth!
Thanks so much for watching. You can find the free written pattern here - www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/easy-4-petal-poppy
Double crochet is US terms and Treble crochet is UK terms.
I hope this helps! 🌻
Thank you I have now printed a copy Ruth.
Can you do a tutorial on how to do your make up scrubbies
The scrubbies aren’t my design but you can find the free pattern on Ravelry by Stitched Up Craft 😊
Kate as a non crochet person can you slow the video please? You've speeded it up and I need to see what a doubly crochet actually is. Thanks.
Hey Angela!
I recommend learning the stitches first and then coming back to this video, as this isn’t a stitch tutorial. You can find my tutorial for the double crochet here 🙂 - czcams.com/video/HV41kZypdmI/video.html
Otherwise you are able to slow the video down on your end by going to the video settings 😊
I hope this helps! 🌻
Love the tutorial, but the music is massively too loud , compared with your commentary.
Sorry Alice! This video was filmed back when I was still very new to youtube.. I've come a long way since then 😅
@@Katieree Ah! Now if I had looked at the date... Good work om the demo anyway LOL
🤣 Thankyou!!
Why do these people think we can work as fast as them. She makes no freaking sense
