- Finishing the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier NP. Logan pass to St. Mary and out of the park for home. On the Vstrom 1000 I just purchased the day before in Missoula, MT for a bucket list ride I have been wanting to do.

Another great video! There is something that is very magical about riding in the western states (combination of the scenery, less people, and wide open spaces) Glacier National Park is a great place, and I’m glad you had perfect weather for the ride. A VStrom 1000 is the perfect tool to connect with the surroundings. Easy to ride slow, quiet and not distracting, and able to step it up and do the miles to the next great destination.
You are so right, I couldn’t have said it any better. The magic of the machine compliments the majesty of the area.

Rob, thank you for sharing your coffee time with the widget guy, and please send that rain over to AZ. I am going to try to get back this September if the good Lord allows and spend 3-4 days in the area. I would like to do a few easy hikes in the area, veg and explore on the big blonde. Thank you.

Now I've got your trade-up bug. From 04 1000 to14 1000 xt adventure w/ 18k w/ givi bags/top case & skid plate. What is a "buy right" price in your opinion? Asking $5,600 .
With out seeing the bike that sounds like a fair price. I purchased the Big Red Vstrom 1000, for 5k 14,000 miles set up about the same, don't be afraid of the miles, these motors will easily go 80k-100k with minimal care. Keep me posted sounds great.
