That dude Full Sending at the start 😂 Fair play to him!
😂😅 I'm glad I didn't try match that 😂 Thank you for watching
What a surprisingly successful day given the awful, bin-bag weather. You two crushed it! That marathon fitness seems to be still there. 👍🏻🏃♂️
Thank you so much, now we want the short distance speed again 😂😂
Congratulations to both of you on your PB's. It's cool to watch the race video after seeing your Strava results because Strava doesn't tell the whole sorry. The hills, the weather, and Ryan running in "no man's land" makes your PB's even more impressive.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, it was definitely an adventure that day an a very tough last 12km 😅😂
Thanks for the shoutout!! On to the next one 💪👀
Onto the next one indeed 🤪 more to come 🙌
Congratulations on your PBs! Huge PB for Hayley, fantastic running 🎉
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment 😊 we are both over the moon 🎉🎉
Great video as always guys! Love race day energy! I can't believe how far in the front you were and omg that guy! 🤯 amazing work both of you!!
Haha thank you so much, definitely can't beat race day vibes 🎉🎉 he did go for it 😂
Wow! Well done both on your PBs , fantastic! Excellent video again 😊
Thank you so much and it was great meeting you all ☺️☺️🙌
Two brilliant results, well done to you both 😊👏👏👏👍
Thank you so much for stopping by 😊😊
Well done both on pbs in dire conditions. Big chunks off historically for Ryan and right now for Haley.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch 😊 it was a nice surprise to both get personal bests, they don't come very often for Ryan 😂
Amazing effort from both of you and congrats on your new half PBs, so good to see and well deserved. Great job and a great vid. Still loving that guy in the cotton North Face tee at the start, 400m full send 😂😂
Haha it's full send or nothing Marc you know the drill 😂 I've seen you at parkrun, thank you for watching 🎉🎉
Great to see both of you PB, Hayley’s is a massive one, 10 minutes! I couldn’t believe Ryan’s HR, sub-125 bpm at that pace😮
Haha don't believe everything you see Andy, think the HR is massively out 😂 thank you so much for taking the time to watch 🎉🎉
@@raleyadventures I know how fit you are so it wasn’t a total surprise😂
Amazing running both. Thats a heck of a PB hayley. Fair play. We nearly went to that spoons but we went to the one by the start. That bloke had a great sprint start 👌
Yeah we thought it might be a bit quieter than the one next to it 😂😅 thank you so much for watching, yeah we need to up our sprinting game 😂
Well done both of you !!! Great running. Marathon training definitely helped you. Ryan's heart rate looks like he wasn't even trying 🤣
Haha yeah looking back through the videos I should of removed the HR data as it's definitely wrong 😂 I'm tempted with those arm HR straps 👀
@@raleyadventures I've got the Coros one and like it. Never used chest straps. Found watch unreliable as I'd put 100% effort in and run a PB then my heart rate would be higher when I was doing a Tempo Parkrun effort lol. You don't think about it when you're wearing it either
@@vickyshaw1709thank you for the advice I'll have to look into it ☺️☺️☺️
Great running, well done both of you! Congrats on the PBs
Tom
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch 😊🎉 we are so so pleased 🥳
well done both 🛎🛎 pb bells. as always, looking forward to the next one.
Thank you so much for watching and we are both so pleased ☺️☺️🙌
Both with a Pb! Not a bad day out that, Well done!
Thank you so much for watching ☺️🎉 it was a great event
Nice work both of you! What a soggy day so well done.
Haha the classic day in the UK 😂😂 thank you so much for watching ☺️☺️🙌
Nicely done! I was shocked how much I enjoyed the race considering the terrible weather and that this was my first half. I expected around 2:15 considering how hilly it was in the first half, but got 1:58 in the end, which I was very pleased with 😁
We're glad you enjoyed it too!! That was some brave pacing to come in that much quicker than expected, congratulations on a great time! Do you think you'll do another one?
@@raleyadventures I booked in for the Kenilworth Half in September with a couple of friends from South Wales, so that should be fun!
Fantastic running from both of you! That’s a huge pb Haley and a 4th overall Ryan! Can’t ask for a better outcome. I ran Coventry several years ago but I’m not sure it was run by the same company or even the same route. I remember there were starting pens we all had to cram in and wait ages just to cross the start line. It also started by the Transport Museum.
Congratulations again, well done 🎉
Yes it's changed over now from the old organiser and I started and finished right next to the transport museum but they've moved it to right next to the cathedral now, thank you so much for taking the time to watch it, how are the legs after Newport? When should we expect the vid 🤪👀
@@raleyadventures - Legs aren’t too bad now. I’ve done a couple of short runs to get them going again. We’re meeting the Brooms at Walsall on Saturday for parkrun and I’m hoping to chase John round as he goes for another sub 20 (I think Dawn is taking it easy, she has the Birmingham run on Sunday) If you fancied coming over, the more the merrier 😁
I’m hoping to get the Newport video out for tomorrow 🤞
@@racheld1844sounds like an amazing morning, Walsall is an amazing parkrun 🎉 sadly we are just running Stratford again with friends but definitely another time 🔥🎉 we look forward to the videos
Awesome running both of you - marathon fitness clearly paying off 👏🏼👏🏼
Definitely 😍 now back down to the shorter stuff haha, how are your legs after Boston?
@@raleyadventures Yep, a summer of speed!
Only two runs so far after lots of walking last week… not brilliant to be honest, although that may also have something to do with going away for the weekend and doing lots of eating out, drinking and late nights! Bit of a contrast 😅
@@nrg_runsuh oh 😂 that doesn't sound good 😂
Well done on a great video again, you really did look like you were just out for a run by yourself 😂 great times, well done both 💚
Haha i wish I had a nice group of people but it was still great regardless and can't complain with the 🛎️☺️ thanks for watching
Well ran to you both
Thank you so much ☺️☺️
Awesome work guys and thanks for the shout out! That bloke at the front was my spirit animal! 🤣 I PB'd 1 mile, 5k, 10k as well as my half so pacing was definitely not ideal. Incredible performance, Haley. 10 minutes off your PB is mega going and to look that strong doing it too!
You're an absolute machine 🤣 Well done on your incredible run too, its worrying when you try to not look at your watch and then when you do look down, realise you've absolutely shot off 😂😂
@@raleyadventures haha thank you. definitely! The stitch I got at 4 miles was something else. Looked at my watch and I was like “ahhh thats why, you’re a dumbass and made the same mistake you always make” 😂
@@Run_Like_a_T-Rex You aren't a runner if you don't have a stitch for going too quick out the gate though 😂 we will never learn 🤣
Well done to both of you. What a PR for Haley as well! Sometimes marathon training helps you PR in shorter races. The marathon just builds endurance so well and better pacing, so I am not too surprised. That was a pretty epic swag bag. I love t-shirts so I would be bummed if there wasn't one. Ryan, did you win anything for a top 4 finish? Some of my best races have been in inclement weather like that... PRs are set in these spring races when the weather is nice and cool
Sadly nothing for 4th unfortunately, thank you so much for watching and we are super pleased with our times, I definitely prefer the rainy events, not so much the standing round at the start
@@raleyadventures Usually in the US, the top 3 get an award. They are then pulled from the results and the top 3 finishers in each age group win something. Usually 5 year increments or 10, depending upon the size of the race. It works great for giving us over runners a shot at winning something -- there is no way I can compete against someone half my age.
Yes we would also have those awards for age group too ☺️☺️ Its definitely great to witness how good the age groups are
Well done, guys. Congratulations on the pbs. 👍🏿💪🏿
Thank you for watching 🙌🙌 We are slowly getting there
@raleyadventures keep it up. Was meant to also say. Did the black lad know it was a half marathon and not a 100-meter race? Lol. Guess there were cameras at the start, and he wanted the lime light of leading the race lol
@@thewingitrunner Haha I guess it just wasn't the mile he was expecting and sadly he did actually miss out on the start photo as he went too quick if you could imagine that 😂😂www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/gallery/pictures-crowds-flock-coventry-half-29075080
@@raleyadventures haha that is funny. Do you know what time he finished?
@@thewingitrunner Not too sure sadly, but we did see Haley overtake him around mile 7 😅😅
Well done you two. Both fast!! Is it a decent course for a PB attempt then?
Thank you so much for watching, It is definitely a quick course but not so sure about the fastest in the country (I mainly like the last 7/8 km of down at the end), we will be testing out Cardiff half in October to both hopefully better our times, heard good things about Bath and Oxford too 👀👀
@@raleyadventures I’ve done Cardiff half and it was my PB course for a while. Definitely one stinger hill near the end.
@@FilmMyRun uh oh least you've told us now 😅😅 but it must be a PB course for a reason, I'm hoping to get dragged along by other runners and I reckon Cardiff will be the place.
