Ron tasting the type of wood is severely underplayed
I would have asked for cherrywood over mahogany. And yep, I can identify woods by taste.
@@Jeremiah90526 Stop licking my garden fence! *hiss*
Actually most woodworker can id wood by smell
There is actually a textural and slight taste difference between woods. You would definitely taste the difference between balsa wood and another wood. I haven’t personally tasted mahogany, but balsa is definitely a less pleasant tasting wood than others.
@@Mansfiery it also has a rather unique texture and density
"The microchip has been compromised " I love it
I checked the comments immediately after I heard that. Thank you for being the first thing I see.

This is literally the best comment in the world.
That and 'Stop poopin' is the best line on the show lol
"You could have at least used mahogany"
Outstanding.
That would be extremely expensive 😂
Legit though, that line's always bithered me. Nick Offerman is a real woodworker, and should know how ridiculous single-use mohogany tongue depressors would be. It's a comedy show though, so who cares
THAT’S M A H O G A N Y.
It actually wouldn't be all that expensive, given the low quantities of wood used. About 10 cents for the raw materials per tongue depressor..
It really just comes down to having cheaper alternatives that are functionally identical.
This is hand carved mahogany
They did a good job of making Rob Lowe look sick as hell.
They used blue lighting in his room to make him seem colder and devoid of life, compaied to Ron's warm lighting
@ blockprime300 that’s so cool how you know that :D

I will forever love that bit of Ron trying to eat a banana
Totally! I prefer bananas to hamburgers but if I were Ron, I would soooo "solve this problem" in exactly the same way he did!
The sound that hamburger makes grosses me out, also the hamburger looks weird and that grosses me out. I'm weird af
@@dreamybombstudios724the hamburger is made to literally be as unhealthy as possible so the sloshing and squishing is understandable
@Luke-nw1xi looks like a good burger to me. Plain, but good. It could use a condiment that would complement the banana. Maybe some jam and some onions.
"Stop. Poopin'." Words to live by.
No man. If you stop poopin', go see a doctor asap.
The improvised "Network Connectivity Problems" (3:31) line from Andy gets me every time haha!
Every time!!!
honestly.. its not that funny.. i know people hype it up because its "improvised" but it wasn't that funny.
@@Oferdrincere you have no sense if humor
@@commandergree9356 I do. This particular joke is over hyped but mediocre, in my opinion.
@@Oferdrincere It seemed funny, though, after six months of insomnia and not being able to eat and doctors puzzling over me and doing hundreds of tests and telling me it's all in my head (only to find out later that it's gastritis with unusual symptoms). I remember laughing my head off and almost crying over this joke. It would have been so great if one of those doctors told me YOU HAVE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY PROBLEMS
Ron describing ‘finding Nemo’ is what I have been searching for all my life
“Well you definitely have the flu”
“oh my god.”
*“The microchip has been compromised”*
“Donna, barricade the door now!”
Donna: just puts one hand against the door
Donna is a force to be reckoned with
3:31 with the greatest line in TV history.
Completely improvised by Chris as well
My favourite line in Parks and Rec tbh
Pure gold
The writers of the show was almost mad at Chris because he just made that line up on the spot and it was so much better than they had came up with
@@RippanCSGO when I first saw that I was laughing hard
I love how Ann always has to be the voice of reason in health issues but no one listens to her
Except for Ron! Sweet of him.
I had a friend like Chris Traeger. He was a long distance runner and supposedly in perfect health but he was also like the most fragile person ever. If everything wasn't perfectly optimal he would be out of commission.
The entire conversation with ann and Ron about his history and info is perfect. “Sexual history? Epic and private.” “Allergies? Weak willed men” lines like that make this show worth it
I can't imagine what Chris must be going through under these circumstances
Coronavirus would compromise the microchip.
Most likely he would have gone into quarantine back in January and would have set up a 12 point plan to ensure he would remain supplied and social while minimizing chances of contamination.
Which would have worked up until his delivery driver started touching all the food, because it's Pawnee.
Chris Trager was hit by a truck ten minutes after the finale. He was killed instantly and his body consumed by one of Pawnee's many packs of wild roaming dogs.

Tom in helmet is everyone of us right now.
Most of us anyway
@vladcurry ok 'alpha male'
@vladcurry Yeah, like one of my acquaintances who didn't wear a mask, caught Covid-19 and had fever for two weeks. And his wife had to take care of him, on top of figuring out how to teach kids online. Really brave of him.
@@martavdz4972 does the same happen every year when he gets the flu? because the flu is way worse and deadlier
@@r.m.5548 He doesn't get the flu every year, the last time was about twenty years ago. Same with my father, he never gets the flu. The last disease he had, not counting colds, was mononucleosis in 1987. But he got Covid-19.
*"Leslie I typed in your symptoms and it says you could have network connectivity problems."*
*This always make me laugh* 😂😂😂
You should know that wasn't in the script, Chris Pratt improvised that line, and they left it in.
In case you didn't know, in regards to food Nick Offerman is basically the opposite of Ron, and he eats his fruit and his salad regularly. He only eats organic foods, and tries to eat relatively little meat, and only from small locally sourced farms.
That just makes Ron’s lines even more hilarious.

"I have an uncle who does yoga"
The original version says "I have an uncle who believes in God" wich I think is so much more a Swanson like answer. I don't know why they changed it.
@@RJSOW Probably because so many viewers are Christians, Muslims, Judaists etc. and they didn't want to offend them. Also, it somehow doesn't seem funny while the yoga joke does, I don't exactly know why. But perhaps it depends on what environment you come from.
@@martavdz4972 Rodrigo Silvera might be from the West Coast - everyone there is incredibly atheistic, emotional and amoral.
@@DEthe5150 well... I´m not with you on this, mate, I´m Christian but from Central Europe, I don´t think in these terms and don´t know squat about the West Coast. The only West Coast family I know is a decent Christian family.
@@RJSOW, when did the lines ever say that? I watched the original show and Ron always said yoga.

"It says you could have... Network connectivity issues"

‘Network connectivity problems’. Easily one of the best jokes in the show. LOVE Chris Pratt 💕
Anne: “we are stretched pretty thin right now”
COVID: “hold my beer”
No that’s actually not true the hospitals were twiddling their thumbs because they had canceled all electives.
The sheer malice in Leslie's face when she licks Jerry's coffee mug gets me every time. 😆
Apparently the ‘network connectivity problems’ was unscripted and it infuriated the writers because it was so good!

In real life he’s sober for years and years and yet has an impressive wine cellar, for guests. Rob Lowe is the man.
Ann throughout all of these scenarios speaks the to the will and credit of all nurses. Imagine tripling each of these characters and telling one nurse ‘have fun…..’
9:45 The look on Ron's face is like "I can do this, I can do this"
Ok but how about Chris’s reaction to coronavirus. He would literally lock himself up
Leslie's cartwheel is amazing

Honestly drives me mad. If your ill don't let anyone visit you it's not a hard concept.
