Jocelyn Carter: It's really a honor to read about her story. What a gal! Carole was very much loved and admired all around the world. I wasn't born yet at the time of her death but I do remember watching her movies with my mom. My mother told me about her death and how she was married to Clark Gable but mom didn't know all what Carole had done or what she stood for. Now I know and that makes me admire Ms. Lombard even more. Rest in peace Carole and Clark, rest.

This two part documentary on the life of Carole Lombard is the best tribute to any actress I have ever seen. What a magnificent tribute to a Great Lady, and an even Lovelier Soul.I did not know of her faith in the Baha'i' Religion. This tribute was well done, well researched, and contained many articles, photos, and information of the actress that most people didn't know.I was most impressed with how compassionate, how thoughtful, how charitable,Carole Lombard was.Not only a great actress, but a magnificent human being. She was not your typical Hollywood star. What a loss for the world! My own tribute to Carole Lombard pales in comparison to this tribute. It is often said that no one ever really dies, as long as we have a reason to remember them.May Carole Lombard rest in peace with the other angels in Heaven.

Carole Lombard was a beautiful soul. She had a bawdy side to her that this film bio does not address. I never knew she was of the Bahiai faith. Book biographies tend to focus on her mother's spiritualism and the Tarot cards that predicted death if they flew back to Los Angeles after the bond drive in Indiana. This is a good bio giving a side of Carole few knew about but also it seems to be produced by the Bahiai faith because it is so heavily interspersed within the biography about Carole.

“My Life is But a Weaving” will type this poem for myself, so beautiful. Excellent documentary about Carole Lombard which I wasn’t even born in that era but watched a comedy one evening of one of her film she was in and found it funny and loved this women’s style and wit. Decided to find out about her and loved her beauty and elegant style. Clark Gable loved her as I can see love in both of their eyes from each other. Yes if I had to choose someone to go and sit and share a moment with absolutely would be Carole Lombard. Sad to say but you don’t see these actors nowadays the older the better in my personal opinion. May she RIP!

What a wonderful kind woman she was. I never knew all that much about her except she had died in a plane crash after a bond drive and that she was married to Clark Gable. I'd seen clips from when they were married and goofing around together. But I never knew how kind and generous she was to others, especially with staff who worked behind the scenes in her films and with so many others. No wonder Clark Gable loved her and was devastated when she died. At least they are together now. I have no doubt of that. She is an actress I would have loved to have met. Unlike so many others in Hollywood today.

It was a popular religion in the United States from the mid-1930's until World War II. It regained momentum here in the mid-1960's. She also had many people under personal contract whose careers she promoted.

That is Cary Grant, not Errol Flynn, in the photo with Carole and Marlene Dietrich. Great documentary! Thank you!

I thought the narrator's voice sounded familiar. She was great on All My Children as Maria.

The photo of Carol Lombard with her pets was taken of her and her dogs that had passed, after which she had had them stuffed by a taxidermist.

This was a beautiful and well researched program about Carole Lombard. It was very admirable that she cared so much about others and learned the joy of serving others. God created us with an innate thirst to fulfill our spiritual nature, to find joy in serving others and in being a "joyful giver", so it is no surprise that Carole found this role so satisfying and such a source of fulfillment in her life. It truly is by God's perfect design! She certainly excelled at it more than most! There are many spiritual paths that embody such altruistic principals and motivate people to lead better lives. Unfortunately, this does not mean that they are a valid path to heaven. The Bible tells us that "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." This is the fundamental problem with many alternative faiths - rather than there being many paths to God, there is actually only one - by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Jesus was tortured and died a horrific death on the cross to pay the sin debt for every person in the world. All we have to do is accept this most monumental free gift! Why is this necessary? Because every single person on earth is a sinner. We have all told a lie, we have all taken something (no matter how small) that didn't belong to us, we have all lusted after another in our hearts or even acted on it. Just compare yourself to the ten commandments and you can see for yourself. That's the problem because God is perfect and holy and CANNOT be in the presence of ANY sin! But because He loves us so incredibly much, He sent Jesus to earth as a man to redeem all men (and women). Jesus lived a completely sinless life (something we are not capable of doing) and died on the cross for me and you because the price of sin is death. Once we accept Him and what He did for us, we are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit and WILL go to heaven when we die or in the rapture, whichever occurs first!
It's not about what we DO in this world, it's ALL about whether we BELIEVE in Jesus Christ and what He did for US because He did it ALL on the cross! Jesus was asked, "...what shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." John 6:28-29
There are many religious texts that say beautiful things and can strike a chord in our hearts, but did you know that the Bible is the only book in existence that is about 1/3 prophecy and of those prophecies that have been fulfilled, they have ALL been fulfilled to the letter! The odds of this are so astronomical to be statistically impossible by chance! There is one very good reason for this - the Bible is the truth! It was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit which came from God Himself and God is completely omniscient!
So please don't be deceived and don't wait a moment longer to accept Jesus as your Savior! He is not just one of many "prophets" or religious figures. He is God and He gave His very life for you, died, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day proving that He was successful in paying the sin debt for the entire world. In fact, His final words on the cross were "It is finished", which in the original language are legal terms that mean THE DEBT IS PAID IN FULL!
The rapture is going to take believers out of this world at ANY moment and you don’t want to miss it! (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.)
