I believe it only works with burning vengeance as it states, "as if it were your shooting phase".
I don't think you can have Precision hits vs a Sergeant in a squad, because the rule allows you only to target attached Characters...
Well, my allocated Hive Tyrant put up a valiant fight! Poor Mike--I feel like he sunk half his army into The Butcher of the 18th in one turn. Also, the dice Yoda was a good idea.🤠

RIP Biovore. Huge loss there. Should’ve never been visible as it can spore mine or indirect. Doesn’t need any line of sight.

Remember that +1S on your vehicles when inside 12", I think there were a couple moments it would have turned a fail into a success.
So sad you didn't pay the 2CP for the Infernus Marines to use IP and blow away that Hive Tyrant, then used IP again for free to below away something else AND then charged... would have made such a difference. Still a really enjoyable game to watch :) Nice job!

Btw, immolation protocols is a battle tactic so captain can do it for free. So spend 2CP for vulkans unit to use it, then use it free for a second time on the aggressors 😉

With this overwatch is imperative to kill the redeemer by second turn. Need anti tank 100%. So sad you couldn't charge with the worriors. Fantastic battle reports love them all.

@@StrikingScorpion82 thanks man, the idea of it is to have the hormagaunts and one gargoyle unit rush forward onto the objectives and also screen while the norn and maleceptor move up behind them onto the objectives cuz they are tanky and then they are supported by all our factions best shooting and it's been working out really well. I've killed angron, avatar of khaine and a ctan shard turn one in 3 separate games. I've beaten some strong meta lists. Oh and thank you for the leviathan painting tutorial I used it for my army and it looks great!

Took the same tyranid list against world eaters lost by almost double any improvements or updates to this line up would be fantastic just to figure out some changes i could try
should also invest in a gravis captain. most of the firestorm strats are battle tactics

Pg. 10 of the FAQ for anyone wondering: When using out of phase rules, abilities that are normally triggered in that phase cannot be used. So neither Vulkan's ability nor the dev wound stratagem can be used sadly.

Play Leviathan GT missions - there is no “Delayed reserves” rule there 😄
How many points is the Salamanders list? For some reason I was working on a similar list with the exact same squads but 1 less vehicle and no intercessors and it was way over 2k points.
Remember point have been going up and down with constant updates from GW
To be the devils advocate here. Act as tho it’s your shooting phase and it is your shooting phase sounds like the same thing. Rules as written.
