BTS refusing to play dirty in their own country as well as in the West is just another reason I love them so much.
Conclusion: we have to work hard always. They throw more obstacles in our way everytime, "next bts" "next stadium tour after bts" "bigger on ig than bts" and filter rates, frozen views while others get ads, free views, deals etc, our deserved numbers get filtered, and others get added. These 2 years will be their time to step on gas even more for the "2nd bts" or "replaced bts" games, so we have to keep working to stop the mediaplay as much as we can. Keep streaming keep buying Armys! More LPs will come, buy them, and keep buying solo and group albums! Support all 7's solo works as well as upcoming unit songs (starting with Pharrell song). Basically do not give the industry people a break from BTS, and dont let kpop industry think for a second BTS has ended with this period.

I didn't know how manipulative and dirty the music industry was until I became an ARMY. I'm so proud of us for making BTS untouchable that no matter how these corrupt labels and companies tried to hide and discredit BTS popularity and achievements, they could never make them small. Not only streams and sales, BTS is only one of the few artists worldwide who could sell out stadiums in every country. Let's continue to support BTS in every way possible. Let's continue to be vigilant and no matter what the locals or BTS antis say about ARMY and BTS, they'll only be proven wrong in the end. Thank you for making this video!
The literally killed mj for having 1/2 of all of Sony music's masters. The industry is nothing but dirty.
Not only sell them out but have to do extra concerts due to the demand. They sell out the biggest Stadiums in the world often having to do two concerts when they only planned one due to demand. 180,000 tickets for their Wembley Stadium concerts eg 2 concerts sold out in less than 1 and half hours (90minutes). That's a super group/band/artist.

Let’s not only talk about the struggles faced because BTS are a band. Firstly, the racism and xenophobia has always been blatant, and secondly the entire industry seems to have it out for BTS because they succeeded by playing by their own rules. Not the industry way, not with money and ridiculous promotions and cheating. BTS succeeded honestly and organically and that’s why both the Korean and Western music industries hate them.
And that is why they will staying winning because authenticity and being organic they may try and stop them but they can't BTS out done themselves only competition BTS has is BTS.

As someone who never paid much attention to pop music, I honestly had no idea how corrupt the music industry was before I got into BTS and specifically, before I found your channel. I did the same for many years... it's ironic that I didn't catch on until I actually stopped listening to most music (and all radio). When I focused in on BTS, I thought it was great that the US music industry was letting them in...and then I realized that actually, it isn't! Quite the reverse. The shoe dropped for me when Spotify 'filtered' almost half of the Butter streams in order to put Olivia Rodrigo on top and passed it off as 'an accident'. The same 'accident' that had mysteriously lost millions of streams for Dynamite as well. 🙄 I dunno which is worse, the efforts to deny BTS proper credit, or the sheer stupidity of Spotify's tactics. I suppose they're buying in to the 'oh, those stupid teenage girls won't notice this stuff' idea. 😑

"bts solos are related to the group" there's only three members from BTS that did not debuted as official soloists, rm, yoongi, jin, jhope all official solos are credited to them because they have already debuted as soloists, if you going to lie atleast be smart and not act uneducated
It's good to know that army's battle isn't against any artist, soloist or group but against the fraudulent music industry; the higher ups wearing suits and running the machine from their offices.
If that kpop girl group disbands tomorrow, the music industry will keep using the same fraudulent tactics with any other artist.

All industries are corrupt, even non-profit. BTS is a thorn in their side because they don’t play the industry’s game. But BTS has always fought hard to make great music and they attracted a fandom that fights hard for their artists. So we will keep fighting for BTS and for ourselves.

From an outsiders view it feels "yeah you are a fan that's why you say BTS has been sabotaged". But this actually happens! No industry functions in good faith all the time. That's why speaking up is important. But the ugly side of the story was artists being body shamed and called names. My urge to ARMY please do not engage or lower yourself down to win an argument. Just stick to the facts of the matter. We won at the end, that's our "response" not shaming or name-calling. 💜💜

Some time ago with fake ARMY accounts they insulted a member of another group and his baby. They trended abuses on ARMYs behalf until one of them felt her conscience pricked that their dirty game involved an innocent baby.

Yes, the 'persecution complex'. Until one starts laying out actual facts and figures and the reality starts to sink in. And I agree, too many people pop off at the mouth and go for the insults... sometimes it's ARMY losing their cool and making us look bad, but sometimes it is just other-fandom trolls and random attention-seekers stirring the pot to make everyone look bad.
The body shaming and name calling happens on BOTH sides. You can not expect fans of either to not react in a certain way, especially in stan culture. Of course people should not stoop so low, but it is unfair to only ask for one fandom to be the bigger person. BTS are constantly being degraded, whether it is from media, racists, xenophobes, homophobes, industry, kpop and western fans. Many feel the need to stand up for them, but a fandom of millions are not all going to think and react the same way nor can they be controlled, plus every fandom has trolls as well.
We always speak with PROOF & we Don't need to make things up for our own advantages. But whenever we expose these kind of corruptions, we get called "Toxic" for no reason.

Spotify & CZcams have been doing this for years to BTS, I believe since 2017, when their popularity and success started to increase worldwide, including the western music industry. Apparently BTS is a big threat to this corrupt music industry.
As I only came into BTS and the Army a couple of months ago learning about them has been such a blessing this men really worked hard minus all the racism/xenophobia they faced and being degraded to just makeup wearing boys that little girls fan over when they are more than that. You can't stop greatness no matter the corruption, payola, not giving them the recognition they truly deserve. I can only image them behind the scenes dealing with the things they see/ hear thankfully they have a passion for music/ entertainment/ art (which is a dying breed especially here in the states). Now a days its no artist development just cute tunes, people looking good even the awards shows are boring and lack quality productions, Bts are the Arts and entertainment who. deserve all the accolades, praise. The mere fact that they emain humble and still show grace and mercy is a testament to them as seven men. I am glad I found them and may not know lick of Korean but through music and content they have shared I am proud of them and will continue to rock with them, I will also continue to say the West is just mad they couldn't get any of BTS/Hybe money they kept it all in house, they couldn't be bought and stayed in the BTS lane while others took rocky roads to be seen as the "BEST" when you are the best you don't have to be corrupt and kiss ass to be the best you just are. I agree with your statement on Blackpink being entertainer of the year. I don’t hate Blackpink but it is odd that they would be on the cover since they have not produced music or content in the past 2yrs, while Bts have been producing music and have given us amazing content including amazing performances(like the YET TO COME BUSAN concert).
Good luck with your BTS journey I'm into them just 2 yrs now. Its hard the first year for me just because of their voluminous content from pre-debut to now and was unhealthily addicted during the first year wanting to catch up with other armys 😅 but now I have adjusted and learned to just enjoy them at my own pace and its more fun for me now. My happy pills and mood elevators.

It's a sad conclusion, but it's a real one. We have had one main goal since we noticed as a fandom how little we can do to change their corrupt ways, we spoke about it years ago, we were ignored and the only viable solution here is to make then bigger and bigger. BTS does what they do for the passion and love they have for music, so I'm sure the unfairness affect them very little compared to how it affect us. People in music industry play such nasty media play and corruption, like I sometimes feel disgusted while using such services. Imagine hiding the only group and 3rd Artist in the world to have more than 100 million streams for 100 songs, 50 songs with more than 200 million streams, like these numbers speak more than words. Blackpink being Time magazines Entertainer of the year when they aren't even close to the achievements BTS had this year. Like wtf.....I'm so pissed at these corrupted people....! That's especially irritating because so many Blinks were complaining about their recent tour. Some of the members weren't even pretending to lip-synch, the choreography was off a lot, and they just generally looked like they'd rather not be there.
That ending gave me chills. Thankyou so much for making this. We appreciate how you only state facts (backed up with receipts!). As far as entertainer of the year, Bad Bunny had the most successful year as an artist, which like BTS has been mostly ignored by music establishment. I didn’t realize that he also is not signed to any Western labels. Interesting.
Srsly! I even like bp, but how are they even in the conversation for Entertainer of the Year? Their album barely squeaked into a #1 over Bad Bunny’s MONTHS-OLD album by having a kajillion versions, a Spotify promo, and last minute discounting, and then it pretty much fizzled. Neither of their singles even cracked the top 20. Their tour is about mid-range in scale. They are at best a moderately successful group (again, no hate! I like them, I’m just being real-there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being moderately successful in the US, in fact it’s a really great achievement for a k-pop group). But meanwhile Bad Bunny had a huge year where he completely dominated the sales and streaming charts for months on end. Absolutely should’ve been him.

In terms of radio, it means the label wants a song played a lot, so the label makes a 'donation' to the radio station and gets put on the station's playlist. The higher the 'donation', the more spins the song gets. The more spins it gets, the higher Billboard will chart it on the Hot 100, because the Hot 100's top metric is US radio play.

Olivia Rodrigo is a great singer and their songs are good. But I always thought it was strange that her first song came out of nowhere. I remember being advertised everywhere that her song had the most streams in one day, and the song had just been released and her fan base was still very small. What I saw the most was people on different social networks after these ads asking who she was, as they had never heard of her.

We don’t know what happens behind the scenes and stuff. We don’t know to what extent that company and those contracts control those girls… all I know is, if I was them, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing I posed for all those pics, held those awards, smiled and gave those speeches whilst being FULLY aware that those achievements aren’t really mine. I guess we’ll see their feelings on it when their contract comes up. If they re-sign and carry on these activities, we’ll know where they stand on the matter. But I won’t blame them fully till that happens, since I have no doubt that their company is scum.

This is very disheartening! I have not been into music that much until I got into BTS, they are the only music I stream, only ones I watch on CZcams. The corruptness, is very disheartening, only to benefit who they want and not honoring hard work, dedication and the passion of the artists. The artists' desire to master their art on all platforms is what should be considered, amazing people in power abuse it. It would be GREAT to have music created in good faith, listened to in good faith, but I guess humans are just too power hungry to know/recognize basics and honesty. Crazy how people in in power continuously underestimate the "general" public/fans intelligence, continuously underestimate the "people". Also amazing that their corruption being called out, doesn't really bother them, definitely tells you a lot about them as people. I hope ARMY continues to lift up and support BTS. The best part of having 7 members is you can have a playlist dedicated to each member to reflect on a day of the week. I can have RM Monday, Jin Tuesday, Suga Wednesday, Jimin Thursday, Jhope Friday, V Saturday and Jungkook Sunday. I'm hoping for more solo albums to add to their individual playlist and mix with the according genre/feel from their BTS songs. :3

I actually did some research on both groups before I got into BTS. As a female myself, their moral and value don't align with mine, and I don't like that they sing what men write for them. It's like having a man tells me what woman empowerment is. To me, it's about being independent and strong, not using sex appeal to get higher. Now, they don't care about music due to their fame. My blood boiled when I watched their Zach Zang interview once; they couldn't even answer a simple question regarding their songs. All they do are acting cute and girlie.

It’s hella frustrating to know that BTS worked so hard to get where they are and achieved their goals, and yet both the Korean/American music industry still treat them like sh*t and don’t appreciate the hardwork that BTS put through their music. “the next BTS”- stop with this crap and face the facts that they’ll never going to be the next BTS nor any other kpop groups going to meet the same level as BTS. BTS didn’t came from the big three, but rather came from a small company that was close to bankrupt (bts almost disbanded during their NO era), but that didn’t stop them from achieving their dreams and goals, and continued on putting their love and compassion into their music. Wow this is so well put together. Long-time ARMY know how BTS' position in the industry is a constant uphill battle that we keep fighting because their voices shouldn't be silenced by corrupt fcks who want an easy spotlight. Real artists deserve that spotlight and BTS emobdy artistry. Moreover, their numbers are consistent on all levels, from streams to sales to tour/events attendance - at this point, you either aknowledge them, or yes, you sabotage them blatantly, and unfortunately racism in the music scene is rampant so their mistreatment is often ignored - until it isn't. Until people ARE gonna notice. As I've said when this latest spotify debacle happened, we unfortunately can't wait for some white artist to be affected so people will pay attention - we need to be loud. It's frustrating, but this is the path of genuine success based on good art and integrity in an industry filled with ppl who fill others' pockets with money so they may appear successful.

You and I have similar story. Back in the day when I was at the beginning of my puberty, BTS was the artist who made me known about Kpop. But after seeing BP, I thought ' Maybe I can also be a blink, just Like an army' but due to going in depth with BTS's music and BP's inconsistency in music, I officially decided I won't join the fandom of BP. Plus, as I grew older,The less sense I got from BP's songs. And their continuous hiatus made me irritated. A group can take hiatus for a year due to some resting or other problems. But BP nearly had 2-3 years of hiatus in their 6 year old career, for what?Fashion events. And that's when I left BP's fandom. And recently knowing how their papa YG had been trying to give them awards and others,I no longer love BP. I respect the girls but nah as artists I don’t feel anything towards them.
