- Folsom Bulldogs helped local special needs kids from around the region enjoy a prom made especially for them. It's called Evening of Dreams and it's put on by Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. Here's the story of a local Folsom girl who was asked to go to the prom by Kooper Richardson of the Folsom Bulldogs. Maddie was crowned queen of the prom.

This young man is a true gentleman and has a huge heart. To give up his school trip without even thinking about it really shows how awesome he is. This is a memory she will never forget and her family with always cherish. I’m so glad she got to enjoy the prom experience and with a great friend!
There's a real stand-up man in Kooper. Raised the way a young man should be raised - his parents should be very proud. And Maddie is a beautiful girl with the most amazing smile - I cannot think of anyone who wouldn't be proud to take her to a prom.
She had no idea what was happening, but she GLEEFULLY ran up to the stage, excited with the biggest smile!!!!

What a stunning young lady with such a warm personality. More people need to take time to listen and respond to those with disabilities. Everyone has their "story".

The tears in her eyes made everything and the way she was surprised was awesome so just seeing her jump for joy when she got asked was inspiring to me💓💞💖💖

I loved this video I wish I could have gone to my prom but I didn't get to stay because for the fact that I had a seizure. I got to do the walk through and get pictures but other than that I missed my senior prom I wish I could go back to a prom so I know what it's like to stay for the whole time. This guy was very good about wanting to take a special needs person to prom I enjoyed watching the video💕💟💗💞

So whats her disability exactly? I see more life in her then i see in most.
Thank you. I wish her all the best. She reminds me of my mother to a point where i almost gets emotional. When i watch the video my first instinct is that I am watching a video of my little sister. I don't have any siblings so that is a new sensation. She fits so strangely well in with me and my mothers features its almost disturbing. But some how it makes me feel less alone. So... She must be the most beautiful little sister I never had :)

It’s a shame there has to be a separate prom for these kids with special needs. While I’m sure they enjoy it, they still being excluded from the actual class prom.
