Oh highs in the 80's, oh how I miss you. Here in Texas it has been sweltering this summer. It is still in the triple digits (between 37-40C every day) in September!! I can't wait for it to cool down here and for it to actually feel like fall. I can't seem to really get into the fall vibe because it is so warm here.

@@CarterSullivan yeah, if the accuweather app is to be believed, we will have the triple digits this week, then be in the high 90’s next week and then rapidly drop after that. Gotta love global warming. Recently, we have fall for MAYBE a week and then straight into winter. So I love vicariously through people on CZcams 😂
@@CarterSullivan also, Criminal Minds isn’t cozy per-say, but it’s a really good crime show. A few episodes I found rather creepy and that is coming from a girl who has a degree in criminology. I will say, don’t start with the new season/series. Start from the very beginning.

We currently have sweltering heat in Oregon, USA until probably mid-October- but then it switches overnight to being cooler and then cold soon after! :)I'm excited to try the apple crisp drinks at Starbucks this year! I loveeeee fall vibes! so excited for this

I also think Thanksgiving plays a big role in it! In Canada Thanksgiving is in the beginning of Oct so by the time Nov 1st comes we're ready for Christmas!

Have you tried factory resetting the kindle my Paperwhite the generation before that one did the same thing and I just factory reset it and didnt have the issue again. I currently have the signature edition and love it and have not had that issue at all.

I think it depends where you live! Like I mentioned, here it's cold as early as September so for as long as I can remember I've been eager for Fall in late August! I think social media can play a role but that's a good question to really make ya think!

For me it’s much too early to talk about fall. Here in the southern part of germany we have summer holidays from End of July to the second week of September.
Though we also have the four different seasons here😅

That is so interesting to hear! As I mentioned I think it's possible to enjoy them both together in unison (at least for me). I think for alot of us this summer has been really crappy weather. Lots of smoke/smog, extreme heat, rain and tornados so for alot of us!
All I can say, from the western part of Germany, is: As every year, I am willing fall to begin simply by doing all the fall things, decorating, getting out the mugs…Since I felt really cozy today, I actually determined it to be the beginning of fall 2023 in my house. I admit it was pretty toasty in my sweater.😅

I'm in my early 30s, and a few weeks ago I was talking to a customer at work who was from Connecticut. So I started talking about Gilmore Girls since it's set in Connecticut.
