Frostsabres are cats.
They’re raised by food-obsessed Ogres.
They imprint on the Ogres.
Therefore they might also be obsessed with food as well.
Frostsabres are Garfield.
"Hunger based democracy" love it
I hope we get more lore on the Yeti's.
"Mournfangs" is such a cool name for the creatures. It’s certainly better than what I would have come up with as my uncreative ass would have called them something like "Tuskverines" or something.
Love the idea of a creature eating metals and even gemstones and then actually being made partly of metals, gems, etc. That sounds like a lot of fun to paint and maybe opens the possibility of factions being more dedicated to a certain metal or gemstone and having a cult centered around its acquisition. Do you think these beasts could eat realmstone and then maybe exhibit strange phenomena?
I wanna see a gnoblar lore video. There was so little about em in the new ogre book. I was very disappointed. Great video.
In before he edits the title from Beasclaw to Beastclaw
pop burnsy Bea Arthur Claw
Have to say that while BCR end of Mawtribes interests me less than Gutbusters (pure financial cost, plus Bloodgullet Tribe), Icebrow Hunters have my favorite thematic and flavorful Command Trait: Raised by Yhetees. I'd adore to build an army someday between now and Judgement Day that was a Hunter and his cats in a Skal alongside just a metric fuckton of Yhetees. It'd be garbage, but absolutely a cool flavor army, where it's the Hunter, his pets, and his adopted family. That, or maybe that could be one of the two Mawtribes Warcry options: Hunters, Sabertusks, and Yhetees or Maneaters (any unit not a Tyrant, Slaughtermaster, or Gnoblar)
2+Tough: "... this is the first fucker wave..."
Daemonette: "Did someone say fuck!?"
Well my monday just got a whole lot better! Thank you, Doug! Always the best content.
Amazing video as always
A very extremely awesome video as always Doug.
I just gotta ask: before the Thundertusks met the Beastclaw Raiders, how tf did they eat? Their tusks seem to get in the way of them and their food and it’s not like a mammoth thing where they had a trunk to compensate. It just kind of bothers me is all.
A few month ago i heard that they throw their meal in the air and then they catch and eat it 😅
Colin Klären I’d imagine that would be difficult without hands
Today was a good day for this. Temperature dropped 30 degrees here...
Here’s a question for you 2+Tough, do you think we could see a “Cities of Nagash” faction? I’m interested to see your opinion since I’m not as big a “expert” on the lore, but as I understand Nagash still has Cities and towns just like Sigmar, albeit with a different god/culture.
Personally, I think it would be cool to see a counterpart where a cheap unit of freeguild people could serve to bolster the strength of the more proper undead units, either serving as food for vampires, corpses for resurrection (kill a unit of freeguild and get a unit of cheap undead), etc.
I believe all of those (or at least most) were destroyed by Chaos. Nagash is worshiped somewhat in the Cities of Sigmar but that is becoming less tolerated.
This is very unique stuff I'm a big simar fan but how come nobody Evey talked about these tribes and wars
I always enjoy your narration, Doug, but could you put pictures of the actual models when you first mention them like you used to do? I think it helps those more unfamiliar with the army to help identify the units on the board more.
I like how you're covering more of the battalions and subdivisions of armies in addition to individual units. The story of how Frostlords are chosen is really unique. I wonder if Gutbusters are similar in that regard.
I try, but there’s just not an equal spread of art :/
2+Tough Oh, I just meant incorporating the store images.
@@kenziemckeever1605 There's some really good overviews and ideas in this channels kitbash videos.
BCR are my favorite faction and I hope someday we get more monsters added to it
Not sure if this has been said many times already, but have you considered adding these as podcasts to streaming platforms? I would love to listen to these while traveling but i cannot download these like i can on spotify apple music etc.
Hyyyyyyyyyyyyyype
