Good tips! I don't have this one, but I'm wanting one now lol. I'm going to try holding out a couple more weeks before brining stuff in.

Such a lovely plant you have. I have a single cutting that's doing okay but I tried propagating a piece off of it a few weeks ago in water and it failed miserably and rotted. How do you propagate these plants? There's little info online

Thank you :) I have done cuttings in water and in soil - both have done well the only thing is it is important to let the cut end callous over after cutting so I leave the cuttings exposed to air for a day or two before putting them in water or soil. I’m not sure if you have seen my video on propagating Epiphyllums but I will send you the link :) Hope that helps!

@@westcoastgardenguy1990 thanks I'll have a look. I'm pretty familiar with propagating epiphytic cacti (zig zag, orchid cactus, aporophyllum, dragonfruit) in water so I was a little surprised that these failed so spectacularly, even when calloused and everything. Maybe the old cutting wasn't healthy to begin with?

@@NoClue1472 yeah maybe it wasn’t a good cutting?
