Excited to see a Monro video pop up, disappointed its not more Cybertruck tear down
Munro really needs to work the product placement to pay for the Cybertruck that they are going to tear down.
What vehicle do you think this is?? This is the CT battery pack drop!
The title is “Bendpak Hoist & Lift Table Review.” The content was pretty true to the title. That’s probably more than I wanted to know about Bendpak, but duly noted for future reference.
@@wtmayhew Alekotenkol is correct... But it was CT 🤪 and the major teardown is definitely coming
@@StaticFreq Yes, agreed. This video was a little detour, apparently a favor to Bendpak. Something tells me as evidenced by having such a nice facility that Munro does not need to raise new money for its Cybertruck teardown. I am sure Monro is never one to say “no” if offered funding though.
Casually just reviewing a hoist whilst having a fricking cybertruck battery there in plain sight!!
So I’m watching this 9 years later (I’m building a tree house for my kids who are 6/7) and it’s very interesting to see how much your channel has grown. Jack has become a strong young man. Great work, Cody. You should rewatch this at some point - you and jacks banter would probably be nostalgic for you. Cheers from WA state.
THANKS 🤗TO THE WHOLE MUNRO TEAM FOR ALL YOU DO, AND I LOVE ❤️ THE NEW TOOLS…THAT MAKES YOUR WORK SAFER AND EASIER 💚💚💚
Equipment updates is always welcome 😊
It sure is!
@@MunroLiveit’s good because it adds things to my wishlist, I’m ready to start working on these EVs
Safty! Safety! Safety! - really great to do it remote!
Cybertruck looks very heavy and these Bendpak lift performed really well
I need a Benpak lift for my wife.😂
Lighter than a rivian
@@iCozzh What his wife? How would you know? 😂🤣
@@iCozzh only when she takes her shoes off.
When it's appropriate, can you guys talk about how water might/might not work its way into the motors or other elements of the truck if you go through high water? As everyone knows, Elon mentioned it could be a boat (as well as other Tesla vehicles) but I've heard multiple EV mechanics state that water can still work its way into the gears or ruin the car in other ways besides the obvious of possibly infiltrating the battery pack. I think it would be super informational for the community to understand the limits of this...and any inferior vehicle. Keep up the good work Munro crew 💪
**Large emphasis on this: "boat"
Elon said they put positive air pressure to push water out while wading on water.
Water won't enter powertrain components like motors, inverters, battery, etc unless something is seriously wrong; they are all designed to be waterproof. The danger is water (especially salt water) entering other components like controllers, sensors, wire harnesses, fuse boxes, etc.
They actually can pressurize the components so if there is a breach it would be air escaping not liquid infiltrating. SMRT says Homer
Thanks Sandy for providing a Great summary of BendPak's lift and battery lift table features.
bro still got biceps
THANKS FOR VIDEO
Amazing stuff I am learning from you guys!
The battery pack and car lifts run around $10k each for those who are curious.
You just know that Sandy worked out a killer deal. Maybe even did a little bartering. I’ll feature your lifts on YT if…you know the rest.
Bloody good bit of kit
keep them commin' Sandy
That cart is nice and beefy. Let's send it to Italy to level out that tower they got with the lean to it.
Noticed those levellers on the first vid, really cool.
Kindness is always free the Highlander. Thank you for the video gang😊
A different type of hoist review :D
When's the teardown?
Right now
@@MunroLive Will you start talking about the truck again as you take it apart?
... of the BendPak kit@@MunroLive
We need you to be first! Not just best!!
Battery replacement just got a lot more expensive, that lift table looks like it cost Big Bucks
I was wondering about those bendpacks. I'm familiar with them from the local mechanics shops I grew up in. Hello from Oxnard, CA
The movable lifts look awesome, never seen them in person though. I'm talking about the lifts that you can move around not stationary.
Ohh that's why it's tall you got some fancy pants foam blocks. We just use woodscraps, some 2x4 would work great for this. Or even some plywood more unruley to store and manage though. yet even thinner.
Soundes like he thanked vinfast near the end lol
I got the feeling that BendPak either is sponsoring their videos now or they gave Sandy a discount for mentioning them, because they talk about their products way too often. `
The corded remote is a bit cumbersome. Lift/Crane remotes are relatively cheap. No need to crawl under the load to access the remote.
That looks CRAZY expensive!! It needs to go lower and have variable speed/ micro speed
😍
A fricken hoist
👍👍
I wish you guys would focus on cyber truck on content.
It’s coming. Our engineers do have other projects, ya know.
Great disguised advertisement
Muroe staff needs to eat too..
It won’t too disguised, but the title was honest about the subject matter. What made it look like an ad was that not much was said of “versus the competition.” Bendpak unquestionably makes good products regardless.
Does OSHA come visit for worker safety issues?
They don't normally do random or regular visits. The only time I've seen them was after a complaint, someone seriously injured, and construction.
If you squint - the cover photo looks like a smashed up Mercedes
Is it made in USA?
According to Bendpak’s FAQ, they have factories in Santa Paula, California and an unspecified location in China.
Where is the protection from pinch point or bone crusher.
With the battery it probably weighs as much as a Honda CRX.
Close! I'm expecting it to come to about 1500 lbs. The 1991 CRX was 1819 lbs. Few cars come close to that today! One of the lightest production cars today sold in the USA is the Mitsubishi Mirage at 2040 lbs.
how many times did he say nitpick
İll make sure to check out the Benpaes selection
how about the actually battery teardown LOL
Evening guys
Julian 🤦♂️
Wild question: does the CT battery pack fit in the ModelY ???
600 mile Tesla 😮😮😮
Even mX 👍
NOPE.
It’s raining
Is does not look bent.
i hated my bendpak, they have been made in china for some years now and it places it really shows.
What Munro drinks?
Great just what I wanted to watch. A hoist review...... NOT
Sandy shilling. Be cautious.
ummm, aaaahhh, and lift aaaahhh, ummmm. Make complete sentences!!!
Get over yourself.
bro did you really just tell us about a hoist when you have the most iconic car in 50 years up on jacks
Sandy are you trolling us
Disappointed, I was under under the impression it was all about the battery pack and not about the hoist , click bat😢
The title is very clear
"Bendpak hoist & battery lift table review" sure is misleading click bait! I can absolutely understand how you were tricked into thinking it was a battery pack review. Shame on Munro for being so deceptive!
What rubbish is this? Get back to the point
What's "the point" supposed to be?
