Eduardo Camavinga is one of the most coveted youngsters in European football. At just 18 years old he youngest player to win a full international cap for France for over 100 years.
But what does he play like? What are his strengths? Does he have any weaknesses? Can we compare him to any other player?

France U-23 announce their selection and the likes of Upamecano, Aouar, Ikone and Camavinga was there. They're like aces of their respective teams yet not even included in the senior squad. Scary pool of talent they got there.
Because people actually think the French league is for farmers đ€·đŒââïž
Veery scary. It'll be interesting to watch them.
@@StrictlyLiverpool no they get most of their talents from Africa. They have a supply advantage over other nations. Btw it's still a farmers đ league

@@blackhawk9601 Supply advantage? England (UK), Spain and Portugal all had extremely large colonial possessions outside of Europe, the latter two having massive linguistic cousins in football crazy regions. What's their excuse?
England, even considering this fact, has the supreme linguistic advantage over every other European nation due to the US's sphere of influence.
Everyone speaks English. Every footballer would choose England over their second nation.
That being said, England is not overflowing with talent, like France. Neither are Portugal or Spain.
No, France just develop talent more efficiently (at the moment) than any other nation on Earth. Even if they have a "farmer's league".
4:28 Camavinga will not be cheap
Perez: Are you sure about that?
Two years later & that 30 million still feels like a steal â€
Right? But what kinda sucks is that he's elite in that CDM role but so is Tchouameni. Although the beauty of Camavinga is that he can slot in everywhere.
That new gen midfield is crazy you have Tchouameni, Camavinga, Fede Valverde who is legitimately world class and walks into any team, and Jude at the 10. Plus with Kroos still in awesome form and of course Modric (who's leaving now sadly) the transition becomes very, very smooth.
@@BiggestChungus21 oh RM has a deep midfield to say the least. Even those they don't play often would have bigger roles in majority of the clubs like for example Ceballos.

He just won the hearts of football lovers for his UCL 2022 performance.
One of the best alternatives to Ibrahim Sarange if he is too expensive.
And he just scored his first goal with Real Madrid after playing just 6 minutes đ„
He already made his mark on Real Madrid in les than 30 minutes played, and also seems a really upbeat and humble kid. Really happy to have him, I even see shades of Seedorf on him, he has more potential on offense than people thinks.
Who came after he knew Madrid got him and wants to know how good he is â€ïž
He has currently signed for Real Madrid and he was bought for 31 milliom euros + add ons. Ancelloti's style of play and tactics will work so well with player like camavinga

His footedness is something unique that a lot of clubs donât have - it is rare to see a player of his skill set and even rarer to see a left footer excel in his position. Sounds like a perfect upgrade of McFred midfield.
So much this!
Available for possibly just âŹ30m too! I hope we do this deal
Heâs only 18 but he already has 2 solid years of top flight experience under his belt. He broke through senior football at 16 years old and been a first teamer since. Tells you a lot about the talent of this kid. Heâs a versatile midfielder who is specialised in tackling and dribbling. He can be moulded into any type of midfielder such as an attacking mid, central mid or central defensive mid. He ainât got a fixed position yet since he can do everything in midfield. By the looks, heâs certainly a golden upgrade on McTominay and Fred. In addition, he can offer much much more than McFred despite being only 18. On the safe side, if things donât go well, heâs always got a certified resale value. However itâs almost impossible not to succeed with this much talent

The data from FBref/statsbomb is NOT possession-adjusted on the website.
Stade Rennais has usually more possession than their opponents so he has less time to intercept & block.
Rodri from Manchester City has also just 1.00 interceptions & 1.21 blocks p90, doesnât make him a bad player/intercepter/blocker.

Actually having watched several videos high-lighting his talents it's obvious he likes attacking. This guy can really become as good as Ibrahim Sangare.
Kante, Fernandinho, Kovacic, and Pogba all rolled into one. Now *that's* a frightening prospect.
He's very young, left-footed, pretty consistent, rarely injured, a box-to-box midfielder and can be a DM as well, so he's a rare breed. A great left-footed DM will cost a fortune and he's got a tremendous potential to become one
