- Taylormade Qi Driver Full Forgiveness Review tested from all parts of the Face as Taylormade are putting a lot of effort into getting the FORGIVENESS words across with the new line of Qi Drivers. Rather than previously focusing on Distance Distance Distance, do Taylormade dare to rain of Ping parade and can they may a more Forgiving Driver than Ping??

Best forgiveness reviews on CZcams by a mile! Was hoping to see a high toe. I've stayed away from twist face because my miss is high toe and the thing goes off the planet right with the last few TM drivers
High Toe's have a want to over gear to the left by a bit depending on club head delivery. You will be ok if you leave your club face open by a touch 👍

@@cubuffs5601Thanks. I was hoping a bit more off the toe ie 15-20mm (top right)I find other drivers gear back with a slightly open face whereas everytime I do that with a TM it stays there and goes further right. Think there’s a video by EP studios out there somewhere that shows the same issue 🤷🏻♂️
Weird that it goes right. I’d get lessons and work on delivery. I go high toe and I’m FORE LEFT!!!! High toe usually means left

Always enjoy your videos. So informative and educational. For me, your comment of someone swinging low 80 would be looking at the Max was off the mark. I tested both the standard and Max models. SS 83, launch generally 16-17*. The Max was super forgiving as you said. But also 14 yards shorter. Had better ball speed, carry, decent, spin with the regular. First driver to dethrone my trusty old Rogue.
Great, great review. Love the numbers at different speeds and different parts of the face. Others should take note on the breakdown.
Others won't due to the amount of time it takes to do. Others wouldn't say its financially viable to spend the time doing it.
I personally feel that this is the only way to fully review a club so I'm glad that you enjoyed the video 👍🏻 👍🏻
I really like the quiet sound of the Stealth 2. This sounds on the quiet side too compared to Ping, Cobra or Callaway.
We need the Max review.
Your testing of forgiveness is top tier!
From the results this driver gives in the standard model which will be the one that suits the most golfers, the Max will be a touch more forgiving but it will be shorter in distance due to the spin increase from the CG location, may even launch a touch higher also which with the higher spin rate may well also reduce distance some more. Even Michael Newton's review found that even dropping the loft on the Max to lowest setting that it dropped the launch but the spin was still way too high 🤷🤷
Only Ping so far have managed to create a 10K that launches higher but spins lower than the Std Max model 👏👏👏
The only driver review worth watching.

Hmm typical, just about ready to purchase the TM Stealth 2 driver and they bring out a brand new version! Might stick with my M4 a bit longer. That said, it does look like a nice driver and better than the previous iteration. Thanks for the vid Jason. Incidentally, I presume you do club fittings. If so, where are you based?
Be interested to see what you think of the Ping 430 Max 10K which I reckon is going to be the one to beat. Probably won’t be the longest but, accuracy and dispersion I expect will be up to the usual Ping standards.

None 😂😉 well I haven't hit them all yet so we will have to see at the end. I have still got the AI Smoke, the Wilson Carbon (yes thats from 2023 but havent done it yet), the Mizuno ST230 MAX so will be cool to see which one i prefer.......👍

@@AskGolfNut No rush. They just are marketing forgiveness in a ball speed way instead of MOI way so itll be interesting to see how it compares vs all the MOI marketed clubs. Whats better? Ball speed consistency or less twisting of the face? These are some of the thoughts I have when looking at Callaway vs TM, Ping, PXG, and all the 10k marketing
I wonder if they have fixed the face falling out or epoxy oooozzzzing out issue? Plenty of info on said matter if one delve into forums etc etc

You talk quite a bit about spin rates and that the ball would fall out of the sky at slower swing speeds if spin is too low. So what would be the optimal spin rate for different swing speeds; let‘s say 92 mph ?

Depending on your launch conditions you should look to have your spin profile baseline between 2200 and 2400, that gives you a little wiggle room for miss hits 👍🏻

It seems that TM have recognised how bad the Stealth was and that the red face had problems. They say the blue face fits the head better, admission that the red face wasn’t fit for purpose? They really haven’t made a decent driver since SIM version 1, oh! That’s when Adidas sold out to a venture capital company, who ripped us off for four years and then sold to another Korean VC, common denominator, reduce quality and R&D to save money, produce annual releases regardless of whether there is anything new to offer, annual rip off. Ultimately, how much better is this club than SIM 1 or the M2, marginal if at all. Ping 400 driver had 9800 MOI, so things haven’t changed much.
Ping g400max has to be the greatest ever driver made for the average everyday player

Sooo.... G430 Max 10K is the driver to get then...
The Max 10K has a different launch and spin profile to the TM Max, the TM Max is a higher spin profile than the G430 MAX 10K and so will suit different golfers 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Would NEVER buy a Taylormade or Callaway driver. 45.75" as stock is ridiculous and try getting some different weights in the head from them if you want to go shorter to maintain swingweight. One of the reasons I'll always stick with Titleist, you can opt for a sensible length and are given the option at order to pick a heavier surefit weight.
Have you ever hit the customize tab when ordering a TM club? You can choose different weights if you go shorter length. In their customize guide they even tell you which weight to order depending on how much you cut it or add onto the shaft. I got the right weight through them for my 45” driver

Why would you not do the QI max ?? That doesn’t make any sense. You did the ping max 10k . People would be interested in the comparison between the two .
You say that and you are right, although you are only the 2nd person to comment asking for the Qi Max review 🤷
These reviews can take me easily 2 days to produce so being completely honest it has to be worth while doing. So far I've only had 2 requests..., 👍🏻👍🏻
