Nice review of a real life unicorn.
If memory serves me, there was no S205 but an R205 (Wagon only) which I believe was probably the launching pad for the 206 and I personally would chose if all planets & stars aligned (and I had the prohibitive budget lol)
Thanks for the top quality content guys, cheers

    Great car.
Japan kept the best for themselves.
Geeze the intercooler fins could use some straightening.

I know it's cars from Japan, but I would love to see you behind the wheel of a Megane RS265, it's got to be the best 'drivers' cars ever made, never have I driven any so transparent and communicative as one of those beasts.

From a collectors point, they wouldn't really desire this example. Collectors usually want low k, uniquely optioned nice examples for value basis only.
Yes its special, but guttered rims, lipped brakes, scratches on the dash inserts, good amount of wear and tear etc... id buy purely because someone didnt leave it, but drove it. Daily. No matter the car it should be driven, as meant.
My kinda car, but i wouldnt pay more than 30k. Anything more and youd be better buying a nicer example sti from the gc8 range, they just are more original and valued. Plus i think they drive better and more traditional of the icon but this model was great and pretty light weight. They did have issues like the plastics in the interior creak and moan, the clutch pedal box cracks and they feel less roomy than a GC8 (probably due to seat placement) but were the last well built platforms from Subaru.
Still a cool car and one thats close to a RA version with nice amenities for the driver.

Great video as always, always love you’re point of views that really stand out! Question that’s unrelated if that’s ok. You mention gear ratios a lot with GTR’s. Utilizing v160 in the r32 using 4.11 gears. With the Supra using a V160 would 4.11 gears be beneficial compared to its 3.26? Or for any rwd platform do you recommend longer gears do to traction issues? Thank you!

They don’t rev to 8250. The hard rev limiter is 8250. The soft limiter will stop you at 8000rpm.
