  • Join us for our Erev Shabbat service We will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. Our portion begins with Moses explaining why God would not allow him to enter the Promised Land. This has posed a serious problem for students of Torah because Moses was able to plead for Israel, and God granted pardons, but God did not grant Moses a pardon for his mistake of unbelief at Meribah. Recall that this was when Moses struck the rock after God instructed him to 'speak' to the rock. Continuing his “review of the Torah,” Moses describes Exodus from Egypt and the Giving of the Torah, declaring them unprecedented events in human history. Moses predicts that in future generations the people will turn away from God, worship idols, and be exiled from their land and scattered amongst the nations; but from there they will seek God and return to obey His commandments. This portion also includes the Shema, "Hear, O Israel...” Again, the theme of Devarim-words-is emphasized: “listen to His voice; hear His words.”
    Scripture Readings: Deuteronomy 3:23-7:11, Isaiah 40:1-26, Matthew 23:31-39, Mark 12:28-34

    Thank you, Monte Juda. You encouraged me today, actually the Word encouraged me. As a young girl I tried to make sence of the Old Testament. Until I was reading the blessings & the cursing in the book of Deuteronomy. The first time I remember hearing clearly from God was when I read Deut 6:4-9 he told me to remember to teach the Word to my children. Mind you, I was probably 13. But I never forgot. I memorized Scripture out loud. I made posters with scripture on them. I had 3x5 cards in the bathroom, kitchen, & in the car. I soaked them in the Word. I'm 73 & my children have given me 10 grandchildren. I'm happy to say they are raising their children much the same. They have not yet followed me in the Sabbath & Torah study... Yet. 🙏🏼

      "For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues". This verse is considered a key verse for understanding the Jerusalem Council's decision that Gentiles are not required to follow the law of Moses.
      But the truth is, when a Gentile accepts Yeshua as their Messiah, they then become part of 'the commonwealth of Israel' by being 'grafted-in'. Therefore, the Gentile is no longer a Gentile because they then have 'a covenant' with the God of Israel, but lots of people who are Christians may not realize this. The next thing, is do they keep the Commandments in which God said to keep, even the 4th Commandment ?
      2John 2:4 states, "If you say you love me but don't keep My commandments, you are a liar and the truth is not in you."

    • @samjiva
      @samjiva Před 22 dny

      @@HerbertPrince Some people - such as myself - interpret this passage to mean that it does require non-jewish new believers to learn and follow the same laws that YHVH requires of all His people. In ancient times, there’s always only been only one law regardless if you are native born, a foreigner or a passerby. Therefore, the statement in Acts 15:19 that we trouble them not, which from among the nations are turned to GOD. This means no one can learn all of Torah over night. It will require a long time for new gentiles to learn the v ways of Torah. Thus they give 4 rules and then tell them to go to synagogue on Shabbat to learn Torah.
      In the end it’s up to each individual to interpret for themselves. If they hear and follow, then we know they are His people. If they choose to interpret according to their convenience and liking then they are not of this sheepfold.
      I love YHVH Yeshua Meshiach and pray daily for wisdom strength and clarity that my life is pleasing in his eyes. I don’t assume I’m worthy or saved or entitled to any of the promises. If I’m cast into the lake of fire, I trust the judgement of my creator. He is all powerful, all knowing, all present. I’m grateful for the life given me thus far. The LORD is awesome; His truth eternal!! AMEN

  • @fetohephzibah-bondservanto4862

    Exodus 23:20-21 are Words of GOD written by Moses. Jesus mentioned this in John 5:46, saying that Moses wrote about him. Jesus is the Angel whom GOD promised to Israel, who will bring them to the place which HE prepared. Israel is commanded by GOD to obey his (Jesus) voice, for His Name (The WORD) is in him. Did Moses saw GOD physically when he heared these Words? No, for GOD has no form but HE resides in the spiritual bodies of His Angels. GOD resides inside the spiritual body (the new man) of Jesus. For wherever the Son is, there the FATHER also.
    Jesus testified to Israel that he is the Angel whom GOD promised to them. He rephrased the Words that are written by Moses. He said in John 5:24 that whoever hears or obeys His Word and believe in GOD who sent him will have everlasting life. And in John 5:43, he said that he came not in his own name, but in the Name of His FATHER. These Words came from One Source, who is GOD. A GOD who never changed. A GOD who is faithful. A GOD who will do everything for His people, for His chosen and beloved Israel. Israel will hear His Voice thru His servants the prophets. Do you hear His Voice thru my Words? Or do you only hear the voice of your flesh who wants to kill my testimony, because you are the people of the god of the flesh?
    The people of GOD must not worship Angels, for they are also servants of GOD. Their bodies are only the Temple of GOD. It is GOD who speaks thru them, therefore, we must obey the Words of Angels whom GOD sent. But this world does not only worship Angels, but they worship the temporary tent of Jesus, his flesh. They worship the body that GOD destroyed already thru His Words. They worship the image of the beast, which is the human body. Because the ruler of the human body is ruling them with his words of lies. Come out from this kind of body, Israel! Be ruled by the Voice of our FATHER. Do not harden your heart, for HE is calling you now. The time is at hand! Maranatha!
    All praises, all honor and all glory belong to the One and True Living GOD alone, forever and ever! Amen and Amen!
    Exodus‬ ‭23‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV
    20 “Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. 21 Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him.”
    John‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
    ‭‭
    John‬ ‭5‬:‭43‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    43 “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.”
    Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
    8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

    Who is the "they" that spoke of the splitting of the syllables and the acacia tree and the birthing of calves from pregnant animals?

  • @johnjaun9231
    @johnjaun9231 Před 22 dny

    But how are men to call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? And how can men preach unless they are sent (Romans 10:14-15)?
    The Greek word for “sent” here is apostalosin. There’s that word again! What does it mean? It means that, for St. Paul, unless you are sent with apostolic authority, you have no authority in the Church. You speak in your own name, rather than the name of Jesus Christ.
    So, who are these “sent ones” that Paul talks about? Timothy certainly qualifies, as we saw above from 2 Tim. 1:6. But most important for us now: this succession does not stop with Timothy and those ordained by apostles: “You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:1-2).
    And remember, Paul is not just talking about “teachers” such as a Sunday school teacher. First and second Timothy are both pastoral epistles that focus on the pastoral ministry of the ordained.
    Titus 1:5 is another example: ”This is why I left you in Crete, that you might amend what was defective, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you.”

      So, where were we commanded to to do so? If I read my Bible, I only read that we have to keep the feasts, which are according to, what is known as the agricultural lunar calendar, from new moon to new moon.....The zadoc calendar is from the Book of Enoch, which is NOT included in the Bible, a solar based calendar and by the way totally confusing. Furthermore, how would a sheperd in the field have known how to do those complicated calculations, while the lunar calendar is easy and simple to observe and follow? By the way, the Book of Enoch is NOT included in the Torah snd therefore NOT part of YHVH's commandments...... So, if it was NOT commanded, and is NOT in the Torah, then we are adding to YHVH's Word. Never are we commanded to follow or obey the priests, no matter if you are named Zadoc or Levi. They were appointed to serve, not change YHVH's Commandments!!
